About Big Bowl Ridgedale
There’s really only one place for authentic Chinese and Thai–and that’s Big Bowl. It all begins with the highest quality ingredients–naturally raised chicken and beef, heirloom pork, sustainable seafood and produce grown locally. Because Big Bowl believes that the best food is made from scratch, you can taste big, bold layers of flavors in every dish, from the curries right down to the dipping sauces.
Everyone raves about the pad Thai, our spicy dishes that are truly hot, and our create-your-own stir-fry–and for good reason. Every element adds up to big taste and takes our food to another level, be it a fresh squeeze of lime, fragrant herbs or the seared Thai chilies.
Big Bowl is so big on authentic flavors that even the ginger ale is made with fresh ginger root–from scratch, of course.

Big Bowl Ridgedale Ratings and Reviews
We were very disappointed with the food, something has changed and I'm not sure what but it just didn't taste good and all 5 of us agreed. We have been to this Big Bowl before but not for along time, I don't think we will be back. Spent $150.00 for bad food. The waitress was fantastic!
Server was excellent, quickly honored any special requests, food always great. Calamari always delicious, so are peanut egg rolls, pomegranate ginger ale, and chicken satay. Great for kids, great for b-days. Delicious free b-day dessert w candle! Thanks, Big Bowl!
The food was wonderful and came out quickly despite how busy they were.
Our server was very slow coming to the table, she responded in a very irritated manner when we asked questions, she interrupted us while we were talking to her, she forgot to bring water and refills multiple times, and spent more time on the computer than with any of her tables. I would most likely walk out or request another server if I am ever placed in her section again.
I have never had an experience like that before while dining here, so I assume this says more about that server than it does Big Bowl.
Still a great place to dine but a few things to mention to improve; Despite having been right on time for our reservation we had to wait quite a while before somebody even showed up at the front desk. A party of 5 we were seated at one of those U-shaped booth, very crammy - the section with larger tables was apparently closed and my folks were too shy to ask for a change - you would think the person responsible for the seating would have recognized it without the need to "complain". The food was again outstanding and the waitress very friendly.
We will definitely go again and I will be more persistent about the seating....
The food was good. Service was slow, but wait staff said they were backed up and manager did jump in to help. However, for the second time we took home leftovers and the food was incorrect. The first time the containers were unlabeled. This time they were labeled wrong. Both were the same dish but one was spicy. The waiter marked the spicy one "hot" and my husband, being concerned wrote SPICY on the side. It was not. I ended up with the unmarked spicy one that I could not eat. When I complained online the manager said his waiter said they were marked correctly. Well, of course he did. He made a mistake and rather than say it could have been wrong the waiter denied it. The manager's response made me feel like he was questioning whether or not I could read. In the future I will either box my own food or have the waiter do it in front of me.
Love the pomegranate ginger ale, the calamari, the chicken satay, and the peanut egg rolls. We have never had an amazing main course, though...still looking! We ordered the Mongolian beef. It barely had any sauce, so they brought us a bowl of it. That made all the difference. Thanks!
