The food was great, the service friendly but not obtrusive. Our only problem was that it was cool and windy; I wish there had been a heat source available.
Food was delicious but a bit pricy. The service was quick but they served oats with my omelette that had tree nuts (I’m allergic). The menu didn’t show a side was going to be provided so I didn’t know to ask/question beforehand. They quickly replaced me with some toast, which was fine.
Nice ambiance, but not worth the $14 drinks. Service was good.
We were treated like we were special! This is my 2nd time there and it was everything we could have imagined! Incredible view and service!
Host kindly greeted us and promptly sat us.
Menu is extremely limited. Salad dressing was really good and complemented all of the yummy extras in our green salad (fried garlic and candied nuts? ) lobster roll was also good. Views are limited but beautiful at sunset.
The views are amazing, and the service is excellent.
Need a wider beer selection. Can’t call it a Biergarten and not have Hefeweizen
This was such an aesthetically pleasing location with great service and beautiful drinks. Amazing experience.
Great restaurant with great service, the pretzel is to die for and the drinks are good too. Bill was higher than I wanted to pay but I expected the bill to be on the pricier side. This is a perfect 'treat yourself' kind of venue!
Overpriced. The exact same wine was cheaper in the restaurant on the lower level. No view. Our server Britney was lovely though.
The lobster roll was unexpected, but very good and fresh! The cocktail I had tasted like it had 0 alcohol in it - could have at least added more ginger so it had some sort of bite to it. It was just boring and juicy. The service was great though and I enjoyed my dinner!
If you’re after eggs bacon and toast and home fries. Don’t come here
Food was excellent!!!
Service was great.
But NO BUD LIGHT!
I figured with outside dining on a rooftop there would be heaters scattered about. There are none. It was a bit cooler than normal for this time of year to have nothing was crazy simply because it is outdoors. Food offerings were scarce but we looked ahead of time and still decided to dine here. No atmosphere to speak of and service was slow even not being busy, Just ok we will not return cost for beer etc was crazy expensive and very limited lowest cost was $8 to 14 for a beer.
Great location with good food and service
First off let me say that I love going there.. We spent the night for our 10-year anniversary and it was a nice Evening and night. These kind of places are never cheap and I expect to pay more for something like this. However I did order a Burger and what i got for $16 was not worth it.. the Pretzel however that my wife got was AMAZING! Burger.. not so much.. Small and not worth the money.
We had brunch and the malted waffles were delicious!!! We also tried the crab toast and grilled cheese. Both were tasty.
Great service and food
Drink selection was good and tasty
Great drinks and beautiful rooftop. The couch seating was super comfy. Social distancing measures were in place, so my group felt safe in the space. Food was a overpriced for what is was. I had pierogies and kielbasa, which was good but not worth $20.
The Ambiance and staff were great. The food was good but I wish there would have been more brunch options
Excellent!
I came here a few weeks ago and had a much better experience because the entire rooftop was open . The better half was closed this evening for a private party, so we were seated in front of a speaker and the kitchen. It just wasn't what I was hoping for. Our server was super nice and comped a drink for my 50th birthday. I think guests would want to know if half is closed. It just wasn't fantastic. But I love the view and the location and availability of outdoor dining in Pittsburgh!
Honestly, quite disappointed with Biergarten. The views were nice, but the food was limited and not good at all. Service was very poor as well.
Great place for a night out! Not many rooftop bars downtown. This was more classy which was a PLUS
Good atmosphere and service. Food and drinks were very average but pricey
Great atmosphere, service, and overall experience was 10/10
Service was poor, very poor. I expected better, we were visiting from out of town.
Very expensive food, and not many options. I’m not sure why it’s called “Biergarten” the only german thing they have is the pretzel, which is deep fried. Fun spot for an upper scale but quiet night out with friends.
Spectacular views and considerate service make this an ideal summertime launch pad
Great location though minimal food choices. Come for the view and a drink
Ordered the lobster roll, it was terrible quality and very small. Also got a pretzel that was not fresh. Drinks were good, but expensive. Music was overwhelmingly loud.
