The Bier Markt first opened its doors in Toronto in 1999 and has grown to 8 unique restaurants in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and St. John’s Newfoundland. At the Bier Markt we draw our inspiration from Northern Europe - its culture, its passion for food and of course it’s dedication to the beautiful art of brewing bier. The Bier Markt boasts a selection of over 150 biers from over 30 countries and local craft brews. The Bier Markt is not only infamous for the bier selection but for a “made from scratch” approach to cooking while perfectly pairing bier with some of Europe’s classic dishes and North American favourites. There’s never a dull moment at the The Bier Markt. Each restaurant has its own built in stage to feature great, local cover bands playing the best of the today’s and yesterday’s anthems. The Bier Markt’s exceptional AV packages also make it a great place to catch the game with friends. Prost!

Bit too loud. Waitresses were slow. Food was ok. Beer choices were not as good as the downtown location. Didnt have beers that were on the menu. Would not go back.

After reading some negative reviews for this location I was hesitant to go, however I'm glad I did as it was good! Started off with one of their sharing boards which was delicious! The mains that we got were pretty average. We really enjoyed being able to try different beers in the beer flight. Overall it wouldn't be my first choice to go to, but it was pretty good and I would return.

We took a vegan, six year old and a 91 year old for dinner here and everyone found something that they liked. The food was really tasty—we especially enjoyed the mega pretzel!

Our dinner didn’t arrived until we ask the server. Meanwhile, we ordered it the same time as the appetizers. My steak is cold and chewy.
