Bice - Palm Beach
Pasta e Fagioli alla Toscana Tradizionale
Traditional Tuscan stile white beans soup
Tiramisu' alla Bice con Salsa al Caffe'
Ladyfingers dipped in espresso coffee, mascarpone cream mousse, cocoa
Great food and service. Probably the best meal we had all week while we were in Palm Beach.
The happy hour was a great deal (half off the entire menu from 4pm-6pm). The multiple servers were great, although a little hard to keep of track who to ask when we needed something. We had the calamari and cassar salad appetizer, both were good. My husband got the Branzino and said it was excellent. I had the tagliolini with meat sauce. The noodles were a little hard and the sauce was just okay. I wanted to like it more than I did. For the happy hour price, I wasn’t disappointed, b had we paid full price I would’ve been less than impressed.
Due to Covid we sat outside. The surroundings are beautiful, as enchanting as Europe. However, this was the second time we were eaten by tiny bugs. It is four days later, and we are still itching. The food and service are outstanding.
Why do they bother asking to make note of about a special occasion during reservations if they do nothing to honor it? In times of Covid, one would think they would go out of their way to show appreciation to their native Floridian customers who dare to come out. We both ordered a dessert & didn’t even get a “Happy Anniversary” or a candle. Not asking for anything for free but that would be nice.
Ambiance: Nice updated yet cozy room with maybe 5 quiet couples aside from one rowdy group of 6 which ruined the atmosphere. Not the fault of restaurant but I asked for a quiet romantic table to celebrate our anniversary. They had a second room they could have put us in. Our choices were a table next to the rowdy crowd, or sit next to kitchen/bathrooms.
Service: Staff wore masks but not gloves so that was off putting. Service was perfectly attentive but not intrusive. Gave us a nice amount of time in between courses.
Food: Tomatoes on caprese salad were ice cold. Tomatoes should be served room temperature. An Italian restaurant should know this better than any other. Poor quality tomatoes. Enjoyed the flavor of the veal ravioli (although extremely al dente, and I love al dente but this was crunchy!) The bolognese was flavorless like a kid’s dish and the linguine was surprisingly overcooked. Especially compared to the ravioli. No consistency. Even the butter pats were frozen solid. Tiramisu was too American, with too much marscarpone cream and not enough espresso flavor or lady fingers. The large portions did not make up for the lack of flavor.
Overall: I’m very sorry to knock on the little things but they just missed the mark on every single thing. I hate to say anything that would hurt a restaurant in these uncertain times but I hope this helps them improve. I’m sure they have their regulars who are treated better. If you’re not one of them, I’d try somewhere else.
Perfect vibe for Palm Beach. Very classy, quiet restaurant. Great food, 5 star service, great wine list. Would def recommend!
Fantastic Food and Service
Immediately after ordering food it arrived too quickly. It truly felt like a minute later and both of us were shocked. But, my meal was ok for me. My fried had 3 bites. She is picky but truly the pasta dish looked drenched in sauce and just warmed up.
Absolutely phenomenal! Impeccable service along with out of this world food. Literally impossible to have a bad meal Emma.
Was there for happy hour, great service and fantastic food
We went for the happy hour dinner. Restaurant had 3 other tables besides us. The happy hour dinner menu is limited. I ordered another glass of wine after 6pm and it was full price. I questioned the waiter and he said all our customers know that. Well I did not and had to argue to get the happy hour price. Yet, dessert was still on happy hour prices. Yet they were out of all of them? But you could have a full price dessert! Really? I live in Palm Beach and wouldn’t bother to go back.
Impeccable as always
Been going here for years, but I must say the food has lost its quality. Quantity got smaller, and the quality has dropped.
The food was overall good but the desserts really stood out as fantastic. Our server ranged from indifferent to downright rude and brusque.
Fantastic food and service.
Everything was excellent - food and service was suburb.
Lovely as always!
Perfection! Tables were rearranged, paper menus, all wearing masks. Delicious meal. Couldn’t ask for
Better. Thank you so much! We will be back.
JUST BEEN INFORMED THAT THIS DINNER RESERVATION IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE 100 POINTS.
Small dig was making more noise than a table of 6 too bad no one tried to stop him
Very delicious... it‘s always worth to go to this wonderful Restaurant. Dining outside would be the better option for us, because we like this atmosphere better than inside.... the food was perfect, the service is very friendly, looking forward to go there again.
Excellent fish of the day. Chicken Parmesan a bit over cooked (dry inside) but good. Bar was excellent for pre dinner drink.
Wonderful food in a beautiful and relaxed setting. Loved it. So special that I am taking 10 of my friends for lunch to celebrate a big birthday of a dear friend
Great food.. great service. A must-do when in Palm Beach!
Way too loud. Food was rushed and service was terrible. Food was mediocre and will not return.
There is better value elsewhere in the Palm Beach area, but you pay a price to dine on Worth Avenue. The food was excellent, as was the service. But in typical Palm Beach fashion you will get ignored if the staff recognizes one of their wealthy clientele. Nice indoor dining, as is the outdoor dining in the courtyard surrounded by shops.
Lovely sole and atmosphere
Our favorite restaurant in Palm Beach. Excellent food, great atmosphere and superb service. Highly recommend !
The best for every thing in palm beach
Sadly we couldn’t get into our favorite place in Palm Beach at the time we needed so it was suggested we try Bice ....and I wish we had just stayed home.
Service was terrible, and while the manager tries to fix it with free dessert and coffee and a few after dinner drinks .... the meal had already been ruined.
If the staff is unsure wether a substitution can be done then she shouldn’t say sure and no problem and then not come back a check it the substitution came out correctly. It was very infuriating and embarrassing to our guests.
We won’t be back!
Great experience !
Eating outside in the warm weather was lovely, but service was very slow & inattentive, probably due to the restaurant being understaffed. Our starter salads took more than 45 to arrive at our table & there were only 2 of us.
I’ve been here before with friends quite a few times. I wasn’t really happy with the food and neither were my guests. I was a bit surprised because usually it’s really good. The service wasn’t good at all. The waiters were MIA. I felt pretty annoyed I would have had dessert but honestly I wanted to get the hell out of there I was really annoyed and embarrassed for my guests because I told them how great this restaurant was and the food was good and they were pretty disappointed.
It was overwhelmingly loud. I was told by one of my party that the osso bucco entree was good but my bolognese dish and salad were just okay. Our waiter was very good even though it appeared the restaurant was under staffed. Overall I would not return here for dinner given the crowdedness and the noise.
Everything was wonderful. Food was delicious, beautifully presented and professionally served. We miss the NYC counterpart and await the new opening. Staff was great and attentive and our host was delightful.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Service was very good.
We were greeted being told we would be the next ones to be seated after another table, wanted to go to bar for a drink, waited 15 mins. Then were shown to our table and after 10 mins had to ask for a server for a drink. Were told no chicken or veal Milanese and my friend asked for the chicken special and was told no chicken! A restaurant with no chicken for a 7:30 reservation!! Very disappointing for our guests who were never there and dont want to return!
We don’t get to Palm Beach often, but when we do, dining at Bice is always on the itinerary, and every time we are reminded how much we miss the Beverly Hills outpost.
It was good. We sat outside everyone was wonderful. I booked the wrong day but they took us any way. They were fabulous
Great food. Professional service. Beautiful evening.
We hadn't been back for several years, the last time we thought the food was OK and overpriced. This time the food was excellent and priced fine. Palm Beach has a lot of good restaurants but this one, based on our latest experience is definitely one of the tops.
