Bica e Vihno is a unique eatery tucked away in East Aurora. The menu is full of unique dishes with a Portuguese flare. The decor is breathtaking, and the outdoor seating area is beautiful. My husband and I shared a cheese plate and we each ordered a dessert coffee. The assortment of cheeses, bread, fruit, and nuts was beautifully presented. The iced dessert coffees were fancy and quite tasty. I plan to go back with a group of friends who are wine connoisseurs, as the wine list was diverse. I am looking forward to trying the dessert plate and a different coffee choice!

My husband and I went here on our 1st anniversary, looking for a unique experience. We had seen photos of the outdoor space and it was just as dreamy and picturesque in person! We had a reservation but hoped for an outdoor table. There were not any available so we were seated on a couch using stumps as tables, not the end of the world. The hostess was sweet but our server decided to ignore us for most of our meal which was unfortunate. Another table who was sat after us, put in not only their drink order, but their food order before us as well! Not cool! The vibes at this restaurant were just odd, and OH SO SNOOTY. The food is small portions for big bucks, but interesting and good quality. I'd consider coming back for cocktails and the dessert board but my husband was so eager to leave, I'd have to find a friend to come!

We have been here a few times and we loved the food the first time .. we ordered the shared boards but it seems the last time we ordered it the board was a bit " bare" .. not as much food as the first time . I had taken a pic of board the first time .. it was definitely a better selection and abundant ... the service is still great and friendly

Chef was off. Family emergency. Unfortunately we were seated for dinner and already ordered drinks when wait staff informed us there was no hot food. Reception greeter failed to mention earlier. We had a cheese board. It was super. We went shopping, then home for a hot meal. That shows major disorganization. But we will be back as the food menu looked quite nice.

I really want to love this place but have struggled to do so and let me explain why. When you walk into the setting, prepare to be blown away. The scenery is like no other and it is a perfect spot for a romantic evening. My partner and I have been here twice. Our first experience was OK, but we found the server to be a bit green---our wine glasses sat empty, the server forgot to mention they were out of several items until we were ready to order them, and items like charcuterie were not explained when brought to the table. For the size of the bill at the end, we expected more so brought the experience to the owner's attention, who I can say was gracious and responsive. So yesterday was round 2. Again, beautiful seating, perfect weather and a much more attentive and knowledgeable server, but the almost $40 charcuterie board we ordered was forgotten about and never brought to the table. The other small plates we ordered were very good, but took over an hour to make it to our table. We mentioned the board to the server after, thinking perhaps it was just a mixup due to the volume of business and she apologized and offered it on the house (again, a gracious and appropriate gesture). So when the board arrives at the table (now nearly two hours after we arrived)....it's not the board we even ordered. We were disappointed. The board was beautiful but much smaller, didn't include the meats we had looked forward to, and some of the cheeses were nearly melted (most likely from sitting out in a hot kitchen). Although it was on the house, we again spent $100 on a dining experience that minus the solid bottle of wine and beautiful scenery, was sub-par. I again, contacted the owner for their awareness and felt they were responsive but a bit more dismissive this time. It's possible we've had two irregular experiences, but at this point we're not sure we would return. Great restaurants stay around for quality and consistency.

It was a Father's Day gift for my husband. It was a bit pricy but we enjoyed the experience. Want to take my daughter for her birthday dessert. Beautiful setting

Totally gorgeous setting and ambiance. Food is very artisanal and authentic spanish/Portuguese meats and wine. Small, but elegantly designed and furnished.

We had reservations for 7 pm on Saturday June 17. I had planned this night well in advance because I was very excited to see the band they had playing on the patio. In my notes booking with open table I requested a table outside. When we arrived we were told they don't reserve outside and it was a first come first serve basis. We had seen a table an empty table outside and asked to sit there and he said that is was reserved. Huh? You just told me it was first come first serve. Needless to say we were very disappointed. Our waiter said I have a table right here for you...inside and it was so hot inside we greatfuly declined to dine and left the restaurant. If they had called me to say that they could not reserve a table outside before hand I would have totally been fine with that and either I would have come much more early to get a seat outside or made different arrangements. I am not knocking this place down because it's absolutely beautiful and we went there earlier in the month to have a 1968 port wine and some chocolate and it was amazing. Just wish they would have communicated better because I was expecting an amazing night and that did not happen.
