   From the host to the busboy, all the staff was warm, friendly, and attentive. The food was such a surprise. We found the fried calamari to be a good portion and each ingredient was cooked perfectly. The cioppino was the same, with each type of seafood done just right. We will definitely be back.

   Delicious meal, attentive service, cozy atmosphere- everything was ideal for a fun meal with a good friend. The burrata was outstanding, as was the shell stuffed with chicken and spinach. I don’t usually order chicken when I eat out, but this was intriguing and measured fully to my expectations. The rich cream sauce kept it from being dry , but was not overpowering. The burrata was light and crunchy on the outside and tender and smooth inside. A perfect appetizer! Portions were generous, so I had to take home half my entree. Service was attentive, but not obtrusive. We were upstairs above the charming historic bar, but felt the vibe from the piano playing under our table. Can’t wait to come back!

   This neighborhood gem is my 'go to' for MANY occasions -- whether a get together with an oold friend over a quiet lunch, a festive evening celebration of birthday or other events. the food is terrific, ambience like few other places these days...and the food AND service consistently excellent, (the servers very genuinely warm, responsive, and personal.. -- we had both Thelma and Jose waiting on us today..we had the risotto (just gorgeous) and the salad barbetiole (beet salad) with grilled shrimp -- both perfect.. lunch came to 30 a piece without drinks..but beyond worth it.. and i love what they did with the decor of the old 'Hotel Mac' --transforming a somewhat stale stodgy place into an airy, elegant place for all occasions.. Baincoverde has become not only a favorite of those of us who live in Point Richmond, but for many others...well worth the drive over.

   Our wait person was most attentive to our needs! Fabulous food but too expensive for every day enjoyment.

   I miss The Mac! (The original restaurant in the historic Hotel Mac in Point Richmond. BiancoVerde fills a void in our small town. In general, the food is decent Italian fare. But, it doesn’t compare to so many other Italian restaurants a relatively short drive away (e.g. even Cugini in Albany). Biggest issues are lackluster red sauces, mediocre focaccia instead of crusty Italian bread (essential for the ritual of “la scarpetta”) and some cocktail prices that are outrageous ($44 for a top shelf Margarita?).

    Surprisingly nice for the area (I probably need to revise my prejudices about Point Richmond). The restaurant is elegant and historic but without being the least bit grimy. The food was very good, servers were friendly and attentive, ambiance not too loud, all in all a classy joint! The drink menu looked amazing though we weren't drinking.
