   Booked three months ago - and at that stage could only choose counter booking - and yet walk ins got tables. Bit bizarre / Counter / Bar areas chairs have metal backs which are pretty uncomfortable for anything more then 15mins. Staff really have to constantly squeeze behind all the counter seats so your never really able to just enjoy the food without a staff member or new customer being squeezed past. Disappointed.

   The food was ok but the service was ordinary - the staff don’t explain the dishes as they set them on the table, just put them down and walk away. The lady who seated us was more interested in talking to her friends than us.

   The food and service here is outstanding. This restaurant has certainly lifted the bar of what standard of Italian delights are now the benchmark in Brisbane. The lasagne is without question the best I have ever tasted and everything else was just as good!

   Secondi were fabulous. Didn't have the wine we were after - sommelier tried hard. It did take at least 1/2 hour to get our first drink.

   I was a bit concerned about having to have the set menu. I ordered the smaller of the two options. I was also concerned as to whether they would cater to our dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were happy to cater to our needs and confirmed with us on arrival. As to the quality and quantity of food it was amazing. The food was delicious and plentiful. I was so pleased I didn’t order the more expensive option as we wouldn’t have been able to eat it.

   The service was good to begin with. Though towards dessert it slowed down and it almost felt like after mains you don't care anymore. Entree was the best. It was our second visit, the first visit was better!
