34$ for a pizza a bit pricey but food was very good
Sushi is really fresh and good. The mushroom sandwich is the best, it’s the only vegetarian thing I have ever ordered and loved it. Mom loves the chopped salad, raved about it all night. My daughter thought the pizza was ok.
What a bummer. With backing like O Ya, we were super excited for great quality, service, and overall experience. My friend and I ventured over on a rainy Saturday. The restaurant was lovely. Service was fine. The waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, and at our request, offered his recommendations.
The food though. The pizza was cafeteria grade at best. Brought me straight back to high school... or that Elios frozen stuff Mom used to buy for after school snacks for my little brother. BUMMER. When I saw Roman style pizza, I was super excited. It failed.
My friend commented that his sushi taco was the best part of what he had, however, he called it "nothing to write home about." We shared two rolls; both sent me to space on spice level alone. The descriptions made them sound more creative than they tasted.
All in all, not one we'd go back to. Bummer too... It offered so much promise.
We ended up next door at Bernard's to finish our afternoon with a more affordable and higher quality wine selection and some tried at true appetizers.
Outdoor dining area nice on a warm summer night. Called and they said no outdoor dining available but was able to book on OpenTable no problem
The sushi and burger were very good. The wood roasted chicken was dry, tasteless and practically inedible. I should have sent it back, but I’m out of practice. We asked that the loud music be turned down, but to no avail.
Fabulous service, delicious sushi and salmon tacos!
Decent food- nothing special, overpriced ($32 for a 1/2 margarita pizza- that was actually just a cheese pie) and small portions overall. The service, however, was excellent.
Outdoor dining was great. Service was strange. Waited a long time to have our Oder taken and then two
I love the chicken salad at Bianca. A great go to place for lunch. The outdoor seating is nice if it’s not too hot! I want to try Brunch next time.
We just had salads, but they were delicious. It was pretty empty when we were there so maybe it's different when it's busy, but the service was very good, and the manager came over to check on us too, which I thought was nice. I'll definitely be back to try more of the food.
Food is good and they fixed their kitchen which previously had been slow. This visit it was very fast. I continue to be confused by their insistence on placing the host stand at the back door. Clearly the parking lot entrance where they built the bar is the front door, yet the host stand requires a walk through the dining room to find someone to greet you.
Let's start by saying that all of their food is fantastic.
For me, a few standouts are:
"Kissed by Fire"
The Wood fire rotisserie "Freebird" whole chicken (not your average chicken dish)
The Mushroom French Dip w/roasted garlic-truffle aioli. Wow! One of the best sandwiches I have ever had, anywhere, period!
More like an nyc / Greenwich village style experience than a typical new England restaurant. Yeah the sushi / pizza / portions don't make sense but everything is super tasty from the sushi (amongst the best in the area) to the Japanese fried chicken to the pizza
Yes its pricey but a great addition to the local scene
Friendly service, clean and spacious place but food was very disappointing.
Margarita pizza by slice was bad, Not what you will expect from this type of pizza: no basil, no fresh tomatoes. Tasted like a prepacked frozen pizza.
The short rib rigatoni was horrible.
The ceaser salad didn’t taste fresh and topped with salmon which was just ok.
Usually don’t give bad reviews like this but it wasn’t good and won’t be going back
The pizza is not worth the price. Sushi was mediocre
This place is such a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. We loved the takeout and now are even happier with the full in person experience.
Bianca at lunchtime could be great. But the menu is odd and the music is way too loud. No one goes out to lunch to have to keep saying, "what?"
I like their rotisserie chicken salad and there pizza. The fried chicken has too much batter and not enough taste. Their salmon fish tacos were so fishy I sent them back. The only thing I have sent back in the last 5 years. It would also be nice if there was a sandwich aside from the mushroom French dip. I may never get over my disappointment when I realized it wasn't an actual French dip.
A little lower volume on the music and a few menu tweaks and it could be great.
I ordered my burger medium well and it was raw.Sent it back and it came back raw.
Very disappointed! I was looking on web sight and was so excited from the photos about the food . When we received our food it looked nothing like the photos . Disappointed in the menu
Wonderful food and service and ambiance. Looking forward to even more menu choices as the world opens up. But love the consistent high quality and pleasant atmosphere
Great service... relaxed and a good variety of menu choices.
The portions were very small. The Rigatoni plate was $24.00 and very small, almost equivalent to an appetizer portion. Only 2 items on the dessert menu. We were there on a Sunday and wanted the home made donut but that is only available on Fridays and Saturdays.
It was ok. Service was good. Too many options on the menu. Pizza tasted stale. Sushi was decent. Tacos were the best item we had that night.
Sadly we were disappointed. We had taken a friend to celebrate her Birthday and were told that there was only wine and beer as there was no bartender and only one wait person. Our friend asked for a recommendation and having been there at least 7 times we recommended the cheese burger and at 6:30 were told that they just sold their last burger. Surprisingly the food came out almost too quickly so the tacos got cold as we ate the salad. At least 3 people delivered the food. Other staff came by to ask if all was okay. It was impossible to share our discontent with our guest there. Also last visit we had a very snippy waiter. We love the menu and the food and hope that soon Bianca will get the rest of the experience right.
We dined inside at Bianca's for our first time. We have done takeout from there over the past months. It was quiet on a Tuesday evening.
We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious and plentiful everything was.
Wild Big Eye Spicy Tuna- delicious
Torched salmon Nori tacos- so good
Chopped rotisserie chicken salad- so good
Burger- very good
"Tisserie Taters"- good too!
we all so enjoyed everything- and the wine and cocktails were all great too.
Our server was delightful and the kitchen was so accommodating to all our requests.
It was great and we will be back soon-
Small menu, high prices. We tried Bianca because my 20 year old daughter thought it sounded interesting. Restaurant was very open and was fairly empty. Menu was kind of strange - no real appetizers to speak of (two types of fries, a chicken dish, a couple salads and 1 fish item). Rest of menu was pizza, a couple sandwiches and then a small selection of sushi/sashimi. My son got 2 rolls - California and Shrimp Tempura - that totaled $32. My daughter got an innovative sushi 'taco' that she enjoyed (and wished she got another) and a regular sushi roll that she said was pretty bland. My husband and I both tried the mushroom French dip. We both completely did not realize there was not going to be any meat on the sandwich (our bad, but 'French dip' held a specific steak-inclusive meaning to us) - so we spent $18 each on grilled bread with some sautéed mushrooms and a small side of nothing-out-of the-ordinary fries. It tasted ok, but was pretty underwhelming. With tip, our meal (which were all still hungry after) cost $120. Sadly, Bianca was a big step down from The Cottage which used to occupy that space.
Amazing service, food was not the best and
Terrible service. Fish did not taste fresh. I’ve had many good experiences here, but this was not one of them.
Food was great and Ethan was too!!
Interesting menu. Not exceptional tastes. Why do you need 50 words?
Food was terrific! Great eating outside but inside is very comfortable too, very spaced out. Sushi taco was amazing. Mom loves the shredded chicken salad. I am not vegetarian but loved the mushroom sandwich.Enjoy! Great service too
Bianca is always dependably excellent! Attentive service with an eclectic mix of food offerings.
We had lovely early dinner on Saturday. Love the open look, and we thoroughly enjoyed the craft cocktails. Split delicious, perfectly cooked rotisserie chicken and well-dressed caesar salad. Great service too. We'll be back!
It was a nice evening--casual, outdoors, right next to the ping pong table where a fairly vigorous game was going on. The servers were terrific. There were some standouts on the menu: sushi tacos: taco "shell" made of tempura fried nori sheets, filled with sushi rice and seasoned fish. I would go back just for that. The fried chicken (Kara-age) was also quite delicious. Good place to go if you don't mind being in the middle of "The Street" and its casual vibe. However, you will pay Chestnut Hill prices for what are basically small plates.
Excellent food and simple but creative and tasty. Travis is an excellent server. A pleasure introducing friends to this place. Ate outdoors which is lovely.
We went here on Mother’s Day and it was quite a fun time. The servers quickly put together two tables for us and the food came out in decent time. We sat outdoors which was super fun but the inside is gorgeous as well and maybe next time I will sit indoors.
Wonderful service. Food was very yummy. Breakfast pizza was great.
The food was just ok. I will not be going back because nothing really excited us in flavor.
Consistent and tasty. Travis was an excellent server and made the experience even better. We have a future reservation to introduce friends to Bianca. B
