Food was amazing! Big portions. Made modifications without issues. Waiter Julio was very attentive and friendly. Restaurant itself was very nice and comfortable.
Disappointing. We were excited to try to this place after seeing 4/5 star ratings. Well...
1. Appetizers: we ordered the shrimp cocktail, lump crab cake (but they were out of that so they offered a “crab cake cocktail”), and the grilled octopus. The shrimp cocktail was just “ok”, the crab cake cocktail was basically a can of lump crab cake plopped on a bed of arugula, and the 6 pieces of grilled octopus was burnt, chewy, and lost in another king size bed of arugula (tomato and scallion)
2. Entrees: we ordered filet mignon with a lobster tail and the special tuna (which I requested as seared/rare in the inside). I got a variegated tuna. What does this mean? Well, interestingly I got all of the above in “how would you like your tuna done?”. I got fully cooked, to medium well, to medium, to medium rare to bloody from one end of the tuna steak to the other. The filet mignon was just “ok”.
3. Dessert: based on the two courses above, we were certainly not going to pay for an overpriced dessert.
Overall, it was just sadly disappointing.
The Rooftop Grill setting was beautiful but the food was just overpriced and overrated. We have definitely had better and this is a place we would never come back to give even a second shot. We expected more considering the price point, location, and the beautiful building. But the food was just not worth what we paid for. Not even close. If you’re looking to splurge on a nice dinner out with your loved one—this is NOT the place. There are certainly much much better than this. I hate to leave reviews like this and I really don’t leave reviews, but in this case I had to. Especially in this time when businesses need our help, our service would have been better spent at a diner, deli, even a food truck for the quality of food served on the amount we spent.
Service was very slow. Roof top was beautiful but the food was not good.
Staff were not wearing masks or not wearing properly. Service was very slow.
Beautiful rooftop dining. Excellent food and service. Highly recommended for a special occasion or date nite with the hubby!
Staff is extremely attentive and the food was delicious. Cannot wait to go back!
Great to see everyone back for inside dining.
Dinner was phenomenal with great service. The staff was extremely attentive and we had a great meal.
Worst birthday dinner EVER! Don't waste your money here. We should've known right from the start when the hostess pointed out our table and said "that's your table" instead of walking us to the table. The mozzarella cheese in the appetizer might have been fresh at one point but not last night. The "chorizo" was some type of sausage but definitely not chorizo. My daughter asked if the fries that came with her burger could be substituted with fingerling potatoes. The waiter's response was a stern and simple "No." I ordered the filet mignon medallions medium. They came out well done almost charred with something that was supposed to be potatoe wedges but looked like leather. It was hard to even put the fork into it. It also came with a piece of corn on the cob that looked like it was cooked way too long. The kernels were brown and dried out. And they charged me $40 for that dish. They should be ashamed. Not only for putting out such a disgraceful dish that was mostly inedible but for charging that much money for it. My husband ordered the skirt steak medium with garlic butter sauce. It came out cut up into pieces already (I've never seen that before). Most of the pieces were well done. The sauce was green so definitely not garlic butter. And his dish came with the same leather potatoe wedges and dried out corn on the cob.
Spacing excellent and there were umbrellas all over to block the sun. Servers pleasant and eager to accommodate!
Food was good. We had veal chop, shrimp special and sword fish.
Felt safe and had an enjoyable dining experience.
They thought it was going to rain that night so moved everyone to the Under building parking garage. To pay $170 for three of us to eat in the parking garage with fluorescent lighting wasn’t great. I know these are difficult times. I wish they would’ve told us we were eating in the garage.
Thank you for joining us for dinner. We hope you enjoyed the food and the service. It is difficult to try and predict the weather from day to day. We do try and reach out to everyone to let them know when are going to serve under the building. Sometimes we find it better to be safe, than sorry, because we had the times where its started to rain in the middle of dinner time and had to rush them to a space that is isn't set up properly from a service and guest perspective.
Very bad/poorly cooked entrees.
Great service from beginning to end! Everyone was cordial and the food was delicious. The weather was perfect for roof top dining. Highly recommend
Rooftop dining was really nice very tropical feeling. Service was gracious and prompt. Food was very good. Will return
Overall great experience! The rooftop is very nice and service is outstanding. I bit pricey, but worth it
The outdoor set up was great. party of 4 We all enjoyed the food . Safe . Good atmosphere. Very nice dinner
Rooftop was great, food always fantastic!
Amazing atmosphere on the rooftop!! Drew the DJ was fantastic and the food and waitstaff were excellent!! Will definitely return.
Beautiful rooftop with a great ambiance. Food was good as well. Will return.
Due to the Outdoor dining we need to do, I made a reservation for a Rooftop table. When we arrived we were told due to a private party we would not be able to sit on the roof top. So we were brought to a table in the parking garage.
The service was not great. Orders were taken and then when things were brought to the table they were wrong and had to be brought back. We had asked for bread and it was not brought so we had to ask again. It was not really busy when we were there so not sure why things like this happened.
Over all the food was OK. Nothing great, but not bad.
I will not be going back
The restaurant has rooftop dining only. When I arrived, the hostess said that there was a party on the rooftop and we would be eating in the ground floor of the parking garage. We received no prior notification of this change in venue. Very disappointing
Phenomenal meal as always. Biagios does not disappoint.
BIAGIOS ADVERTISES ROOF TOP DINING. HOWEVER WHEN WE GOT THERE THEY
SAID ROOF TOP WAS CLOSED. WOUND UP SITTING UNDERNEATH IN A PARKING GARAGE! HAD I HAD KNOWN, I WOULD HAVE CANCELLED THE RESERVATION!
VERY, VERY DISSATTISFIED!
I enjoyed my dinner at Biagio's Ristorante very much. Food quality and taste was very good.
place was beautiful the dinner was amazing and the service was great had a great anniversary with my wife
For all eateries it’s just not normal... but.... these guys have made the absolute best of a situation. Service, food, top notch. We really enjoyed our experience and will be back for certain!!
Longtime customer and will continue to go back. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Food is fast to come out of the kitchen and always delicious.
Zucchini flower appetizer was inedible. Corn on the cob soggy and overcooked. All entrees tasted and appeared to be pre cooked. Manager did take the appetizer off the bill. Won't be back.
It was a pleasant evening. We had a good time celebrating birthdays.
Excellent during these times!
Jordan our waiter was excellent! Maitre D was so nice! Looking forward to going back.Lamb chops and filet were perfectly done!
We appreciated the opportunity to dine during these uncertain times, but the food tasted pretty average, the service was pretty average too, the live music was super loud and it was hard to hear one another. The waiter's mask was either falling off or he purposely was taken it off to be able to speak to us.
It was different but excellent
The outdoor setup on the roof was amazing. String lights, fountains, plants. Hope they keep the outdoor terrace setup permanently! Service was phenomenal. And the manager walked around making sure all was ok! We went to Rustica last week, and the food was amazing, but they were seriously understaffed (an hour to get a drink after being seated!). Not at Biagio's! Excellent, prompt service.
Food was good, but standard wedding fare. My filet mignon was overcooked, which is disappointing when you spend $190 on dinner. Drinks in plastic cups which is a pet peeve of mine.
They definitely are trying and it shows. This is a well oiled machine, from the ease of reservations, the hostess was great and found a parking spot for us & very friendly, the waiter was attentive and helpful, the manager attentive (pssst...give her a raise).
The ambience can not be beat. A fun night.
-Reservations handled fine
-Got seated in front of smoky grill but was moved upon request; Clothes wreaked
- took about 50 minutes to get our entrees; corn on the cob embarrassingly bad and tiny pieces while shrimp and salmon fair
- Server was without personality and never came to check on us after getting meal as we felt he didn’t really care about us the entire meal
- ambience the only excellent part of the experience and we wished food & service matched that
- entire Family disappointed in lack of value
Great rooftop outdoor experience. Would go back!
Our waiter was not very attentive. We went in for lunch at 12:30 and there were not even many customers.
Excellent food. Beautiful atmosphere! So nice to be out after 3 months quaurentine
The server we had needed more training. He did not know the difference between rum and bourbon when making a recommendation when the beverage of choice (rum) was not available. He would start to speak to us prior to being at our table. Twice he asked to take an unfinished salad and when it was declined the second time, he stated he would now tell the kitchen "to fire up our food". He did not come back to the table after the dinners were dropped to see how everything was or to fill our water glasses. There was absolutely no engagement from him during our entire meal.
