A table of 7 of us were there to celebrate a birthday. Drinks and appetizers were great. However the main entre’s took almost 45 min to be served and the food was not what we expected. Three ordered the shrimp scampi over pasta. The Pasta was undercooked, the shrimp had a weird “film” on it. One of us had the duck. It was flavorless.
One had the soft shell crab dish. It was just ok. The last two of us had the nights special which was steak and shrimp. I asked for mine medium rare and the other two was supposed be medium well and it came out burnt and crispy! On a steak....
We sent it back and instead of bringing a new dish, the waiter or manager or sommelier... couldn’t tell who he was, had our waiter just take the steak off the plate and then brought back a new piece of meat cooked right but no flavor what so ever.
Very dissatisfied and disappointed. They didn’t even offer to comp anything.
Unfortunately we will not be returning.

The food was mediocre. I had the soft shell crabs and they were drowned in a butter sauce which overwhelmed their flavor. We also waited a very long time for our meal.

Was for a birthday. Tables were squished together and totally uncomfortable - especially for an Italian restaurant- you can barely fit bread and two bread plates on a table for two- so we sat at the lounge. A male manager or owner eyed us uncomfortably the whole time! We ended up making a reservation nearby and leaving after a glass of wine. Woof.

It was beyond loud in the dining room. The food was amazing but our waitress was rude and had a horrible attitude and it took forever to get drinks.

Biago's is a place I've been to before on business lunches but this is the first time I've gone there for dinner. Their food never disappoints but the portions they provide on the dinner menu takes things over the top. All the pasta is made there and you cant taste the difference. The deserts are decadent, the coffee is great. There was no negative to the experience and frankly it is even a value when compared to similar restaurants in the area. We're going back.

There was absolutely no parking to be found in their lot as a large function was booked in the ballroom. The noise level was that of a football game at Giants Stadium and to top it off I received an Open Table notification that Biagio’s marked our reservation as a no show! Will Not be returning.

Been driving by this place for years. Thought we should try it out. Things went south right from the beginning. Table was occupied by employees who didnt bother to get up when the maitre de asked then to vacate. They acted like she didnt exist. Had to wait about 10 minutes before we could be seated. And the booth was abominable. More on that later. Then the wine came out and it was sort of tepid. Guess there is no cellar. Never order an expensive bottle if that's the case. Bread took 15 minutes because (we were told) the staff was "going over the menu!" Salads were pre-prepared not freshly made and my Caesar was basically a tablespoon of mustard. No joke. The the fun begins -- 20 minutes from when the salad plates were removed until the food comes out. We timed it. By this time, sitting on the wooden bench with no cushioning was killing our tushes. AND they got my daughter's order wrong. She wanted penne with the sauce on the side and got a bowl of pasta swimming in sauce. Because it took so long to get our entrees we didnt bother sending it back. She didnt eat it. A waste of $18. My chicken parm wasn't so good either. It was as if the chicken was previously cooked and cheese thrown on top when the order came through. My wife said her seafood and linguine was OK. In sum this was a huge disappointment. Can't recommend. Never going back. Shocked that it ever gets good reviews.

My husband and I went for Valentines Day - We walked in and I was handed a red rose which I though was very nice - They called me a few times to confirm my seat and if I was happy where they seated us - I wound up with a window seat which I loved - Our server Maryann was great wanted Wine but don't know much about wine so she recommended two - gave us a sample of 2 Service was good - they did not rush you out either which was a big plus - Portion size was great - parking was excellent. Will go again. I do recommend this place for special occasions as they are attentive to your needs.

I worked at Paramus Courtyard for 6 years, and always recommended Biagio's to our guests when staying in town, and for business. Several guests (from Snap On Tools) used to bring back food for us at the desk/bar, and the food was always delicous. I received an open table certificate from my new employer, and had the opportunity to try it myself, and I really enjoyed the food, thank you. Our waiter was very pleasant, although would disappear a little too long, but not that big of a deal. We watched the big guy Frankie I believe was his name at the host counter, hold and play with a baby boy, and the little boy seemed to love him. It was very nice to see the family atmosphere here. Very nice. I'm glad I finally had the chance to experience Biagio's. It certainly wont be my last. :)

The restaurant met expectations but, needs improvement with the following: More trained waiters not bus boys; bus boys need to back up a bit and not be so eager to take plates away. Steaks need to be done as ordered: medium is not the same as well especially with rib eyes; flavoring is lost. The 4 table seating in the fireplace room near the entry to the other dining room has too much traffic to enjoy a meal; suggest making it a table for 2 so there is more room while dining.

Excellent! Requested a quiet table for a reunion and Biagio's was very accommodating, from the hostess to the owner. Wonderful food and good prices. Small plates are a great option for sharing. Scrumptious desserts. A bit noisy for Sunday lunch but had a large table near us and a private group in the house. Fun bar area! Will definitely go back!

The ONLY reason im leabing a good review for this place is because of the Manager Tom and my waiter Mario made our experience WONDERFUL! An hour before my reservation i called to make sure the place was open (due to snow) and i find pht there is an issue with my reservation for a party of 15. Everything would have been fine but the OWNER got on the phone with me blaming me for the issues and when i said his hostess confirmed everything with me days ago he started yelling that the hostess is not a manager and doesnt know what reservations are made or for how many ppl. Im not even going to get into how idiotic that statements was. When i asked what he was going to do about my reservation he hung up on me!! If i didnt have ppl coming from ovwr an hour away I wphpd have NEVER went there. However, when i called back i asked to speak to anyone else and Tom got on the phone. He was calm, and professional and assured me dverythibg wouldbe taken care of properly when my party arrived. He was right! Tom was fabulous and pur waiter Mario was just as wonderful!! The owner should be GREATFUL he has professiolnals like them or else im sure his place would be closed perminalttly if the owner was the only one in charge. Thank you Tom and Mario for a wonderful experience!!

The service was okay but food was not good at all. Pasta was extremely over cooked and sauce was not good, didn't taste fresh. My husband ordered steak medium and it was given to him raw. We ordered fresh mozzarella and it didn't taste like they made it fresh it tasted like cheap packaged mozzarella. We ended up leaving without eating our meal. Manager was really nice and didn't charge us. I expected better and I have been here before many times but the last time was 4 yrs ago. I Guess the food isn't good anymore. I personally will not be going back.

Excellent restaurant overall. Extensive food menu. Lobster Ravioli is one of the best in the state. Craft Beer menu could use a little lift, as the options weren't great. Make sure you call ahead for reservations, as this place packs up. They have a large bar area as well with high-tops, so there is a diverse crowd inside at all times.

We've been to Biagio's many times for lunch over the past several years, and a few times for dinner more recently. The food has been consistently delicious. The service is always outstanding, and the ambiance is wonderful, whether for an intimate dinner for two or a larger gathering. This last time we celebrated my elderly cousins' 60th wedding anniversary; everything about the evening was perfect.

Overall the food was ok, but not for the price! Avoid the "homemade mozzarella " appetiter for $12. I have had supermarket brand mozzarella taste better. The seared scallop "small plate" for $15 had two scallops and a table spoon of resotto! Not going back 😠

Although the noise level in the main dining room was a bit boisterous, we were given a table in a quiet corner. This was perfect for long time friends who hadn't been together in a long while. Not only were we able to "catch up", but we had a wonderful meal. Everything we ordered was delicious and there were plenty of leftovers. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. All in all, a delightful evening.
