I guess we’ve never eaten at Biagio’s on a Saturday night although we have been there multiple times and always loved it. Been there for lunches and dinners and found the noise level quite acceptable.
My wife at I made reservations for 6:45PM this past Saturday and found the noise level intolerable. Found the waiters overworked so service suffered.
Like the place, food and ambiance. Just won’t ever go back on a Saturday night.
A wonderful dinner experience even with the louder than usual crowd.
Food was good although they didn’t offer a lunch menu on a Sunday. Service was not so good.
My second time dining at Biagio's and will return real soon.
Good food and service.
Resersations honored in timely fashion. Food & choices excellent. Felt a little rushed by the server when we tried explaining something. Overall a great night though.
Great food and great service! I would highly recommend the restaurant. We were a party of 6 and everyone was satisfied with the food and service.
Always good with an interesting contrast between the nicely sized bar and the more formal dining area.
The food at Biagios is excellent , the service was very good the waitress was a very nice lady who knows her job . The ambience as well was nice and warm . Absolutely I recommend this place for any type of dinner or event . Well is not my first time there never disappointed with the food very good portions and the most important delicious .
Not much quiet seating when parties are in the house! Food quality was excellent!
Everything was great. It was a bit too loud for conversation
We've have been coming here for over 20 years. We grew up in Bergen County now live in Orange County, NY and still drive down for a good meal. Our waiter Miguel is the best. Kudos to the chef for his special lamb shank dinner and Australian Bass special. See you soon.
Biagio’s was the perfect fit for daughter’s bday / college send off gathering - fireplace warm and cozy with excellent food - service - ambiance - and noise level was good for our large round table of 8 guests to enjoy great conversation. Highly recommend!
My family wanted to try the restaurant being we only been for events at the Terrace. I truthfully was disappointed being I come from a huge hospitality background and wanted my family to try a new place. The appetizers were ok but all food took forever to come to the tables. Our drinks also took too long. It seemed that it was the 1st day for the server at our table. My wife and I ordered from the specials but never received the salads. I can't recommend the restaurant being it more like a bar scene and the timing was way off on the courses. Needs improvement.....
The food is great. We had small plates which are half the size and price. Perfect for us. And we ordered a few appetizers. Highly recommend.
On a Sunday evening it’s very easy to avoid the crowds and enjoy your dinner. Franke was very accommodating and checked on us frequently.
Family last minute get together. Their were 8 of us and we were able to get a reservation. Our waiter, Oscar, was on point. Thank you for good food, good service and a warm welcome.
Great food and excellent service. A very comfortable place
Every time we visit Biagios the service is excellent, food is outstanding. The wait staff is fun and always friendly. My son had the PEI mussels and WOW, taste great. Go once, you'll be hooked.
Great food and ambience. Was noisy but we still had a good time.
the service was great. we were treated with courtesy service and the food was good. we had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas. we will return soon.
Food was great and service exceptional. Looking forward to going back
Took my NY/ NJ sales team here to celebrate a great year. Food was amazing. Meat and Cheese board was delicious. So many difeerent choices and selections. Waiter was very helpful with providing recommendations. Would definately go back.
Great place! Food is excellent. Wish I could have this at home. They make their own pasta and it is excellent. Prefer the seating up by the front window. Top notch place. Got spoiled by going here. Can't settle for less when going out to eat.
We’ve been here before with family and/or friends. We are usually seated in the front room. We have always had a great service experience until this past Saturday night. The 4 of us were seated in the back room at a tight table for 5. Our waitress seemed that she was less than thrilled to be waiting on us. At one point, we were trying desperately to get her attention, 3 of the 4 us were waving and shouting excuse me over and over again. When I asked for some lemon for my water her reply was “what for?”. She didn’t know the menu items and she brought out 5 burgers when we clearly only ordered one per person (there were 4 of us). She was annoyed with us for her mistake insinuating the 5th entree was indeed ordered. Anyone can have a bad night but when we approached the manager, he certainly wasn’t surprised. The food was as good as we remembered; the service was not.
I have been there on occasion, but Friday's dining experience was superb. We all actually talked about it the next day. All four of us had something different and we were all completely happy! We were greeted at the front door and greeted with a warm smile and it only went up from there!
Thumbs up to the Manager Frank for his attentiveness and food selections for our table. Recommendations were deliciously outstanding. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Biagio’s to others. Thank you for the great hospitality.
Great food, wonderful service -- what else is there to say.
I've driven past this restaurant many times and the parking lot is always full -- now I know why.
Definitely recommend this restaurant for the food, wine, and service.
Great people, great food
Made a reservation on Thursday for a Friday dinner. Table we had was smack in the middle of the dining room. They offered a booth in the bar which was loud. When we went to tell the hostess we would wait for a better table at the bar, she turned away from us started chatting with someone in the bar. My wife and I walked and will NEVER return again. As poor a service as I have ever been a part of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If "Tasteless food, high prices" was their motto, then I'd say they hit the spot. Unfortunately, I would only recommend this place for the bar, which appeared to be hopping. Otherwise, cafeteria food at near Manhattan prices.
This was our second and last visit to Biagio's. On both occasions the food was good, but not worth the noise level which made it difficult to have a normal conversation. The bar was deafening and it carried over into the dining room. The host was abrupt and distracted. The wait staff was good, when they could be heard over the loud yelling that was going on around us.
We will not return.
Great. I just forgot to use my 15% coupon off the bill!
The food and portion size was outstanding. I did feel, however, that our server had an attitude-as soon as we said we did not drinks, it became clear to us that he was not exactly pleased. He took our orders, and we were served fast, but he barely acknowledged us(although he did come over as we were eating.) We appreciated a stop at the table by the gentleman who appeared to be the owner.
It’s nice that a neighborhood place takes reservations.
Great food and good service , very tasty food and reasonable prices
Outstanding food and service!!! Large portions and a very good selective menu. A+++
Food is amazing. The owner is so friendly and loves kids. Great Calimari and roasted cauliflower. Good wine.
We chose Biagio's for a dinner meeting with friends traveling through from out of state. Food was excellent especially the veal and scallop dishes. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Two of our party especially enjoyed the opportunities offered by the "small plates" menu .
We found this restaurant about a year ago. None of restaurants would seat us in the area on a busy Thursday night. I made one last call to Biagio's.
They were booked also but the manager told us to come to the restaurant and he would make a table for us, one way or another.
We had a fabulous dinner that night.
We drove four hours in the rain this Sunday
to get to Biagio's. We celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary.
The food and service was once again fabulous. I highly recommend the Seafood Pescatore. It was a remarkable dish for a foodie. Lot's of seafood and tasted excellent.
Service suck food wasn’t good and pricing was expensive too noisy couldn’t hear the company I was with speak charged me for bringing my own birthday cake alcoholic drink wasn’t tasty overall a bad experience never again
