Biagio's Osteria
"It is most certainly a gourmet establishment with a menu from top to bottom that is exquisitely creative with tastes and flavors and choices that make selections so joyously difficult--and with a wine list to match food and pocketbook. Consider this the now best Italian restaurant in the state. Three cheers for Biagio the chef."
"Concealed jewel, but easily accessible off the parkway. Esteemed staff that goes about taking care of your every need, especially the maitre d'. Exceptional menu with meals that make you crave for more. The homemade pasta dishes are unequaled to any place in the state. This is an elite restaurant that I will entertain my family and my business clients at. Head chef will go above and beyond his means for satisfaction of customer."

It was a great experience.
Food was amazing and fresh. Excellent food quality!
Service was great, our waiter Joey was kind, funny and very knowledgeable about the whole menu
I strongly recommend it and can't wait to go back
We went for our anniversary and loved it, we felt safe being there and had a great dinner.
Food and mood was amazing. Menu was different from the typical Italian restaurant. Love it
It was our 1st time at this restaurant. It was Valentine's Day evening and the restaurant was quite busy. The food was very good. We would go back.
Awesome food. Really, just a great experience. Recommended.
Valentine’s Day!
Went with my fiancee for Valentine's day, our dinner was alright. Food was slightly bland, service was good. I had the brussel sprout salad that was kinda dry. The menu has plenty of appetizing options tho, I will probably be back to try more.
It was a busy night. The wait staff seemed overwhelmed, I think there was one woman for the entire room we were in. My only real complaint was there was a party of four who were obnoxiously loud, but I think they were regulars as no one asked them to tone it down a little. It was so much better when they left.
The food was excellent, a memorable meal! Great wine selection as well.
Take away the extremely loud obnoxious woman behind us and it would have been a perfect valentines dinner, (she even insisted on singing a song from beginning to end in her very screechy off key voice). Our table was ready when we arrived, excellent house wine, food and service were great,
The owner was very accepting of a special request I made. Very special. Thank you and the food can't be beat!
Our evening started off well. We were seated a prettily lit, quiet room next to a party of five who were clearly enjoying themselves while speaking at a reasonable volume.
Then, a woman and her date swept in, ordered the host around, and informed him where they would and would not be seated. The host argued back, which made us and other diners uncomfortable. (I heard one person sigh and say to her friends, “We came here to relax.”)
The food was absolutely outstanding, however. We eat out a lot, and this meal was easily the best I’ve had in a couple of years.
We paid our check with a gift certificate, which was returned to us with the original total scribbled out and replaced by what we surmised to be the balance (our server wasn’t really sure what happened there).
There was no receipt for us to write in a tip, so she went back to talk to the scribbler to find out how that might be achieved.
She came back and told us he said tips couldn’t be applied to gift certificates. Good thing he allowed us to put it on a credit card because we didn’t bring cash.
This episode struck us as graceless and awkward.
But maybe we hit the place on an off night. We had been to Biagio’s twice previously. The food was excellent both times, and the atmosphere and treatment was much better.
The food is always fantastic and the presentation is top notch.
Service was terrific. It is definitely one of the best places in the area for a quality dinner at good prices.
We have dined here many times before. The food is always delicious, service great, and the prices reasonable.
My go-to spot when in the area. Great food.
The food is always delicious. The service is great. The atmosphere is pleasant. Still the best calamari. Everything was outstanding.
Fantastic! Service was excellent and the food was delicious...can’t wait to go back 🥰
I really liked the food and the service, however, the owner wasn’t wearing his mask properly at all each time we saw him. It was also a bit crowded for me. We will come back once the vaccine is out and available.
Not my first time, and equally as memorable. Beautiful ambiance, reasonable service given the new years eve rush. Dining experience was enjoyable with beautifully plated dishes with a rich taste. I ordered the Caesar salad and salmon special. My friend ordered the ragu. Both were pleased and found the portions to be generous. Dessert was delicious, my friend had the crepes and I enjoyed the apple tarte. The manager is lovely and hospitable. Would highly recommend.
Food was great and restaurant was very safety conscious.
Amazing experience!!
Other than asking online and calling to confirm, we were not seated where we had requested. In the end our table was fine. Service and food made up for any disappointment to locale. Marco, our waiter, was very pleasant and perfectly on time with everything. Food was second to none. Never was rushed and they did sing happy birthday to my wife. All in all, had a fantastic night.
The food was fantastic, the waiter was very knowledgeable and he sang a happy birthday to my wife.
Covid has changed so much for so many restaurants but really the only thing I noticed at Biagio’s was less people. The food was outstanding. Service was good, prices very reasonable.
We will be back.
Good dining spacing, masks in place. Food was good, a little rich, but a good experience. To charge extra for anchovies on a caesar salad is excessive to me. Everything else was good. Service was very attentive, but not over-bearing.
Highly recommend a very elegant dinner experience!
Great experience all around. Awesome presentation with all 3 courses and prepared expertly.
First time eating at Biagio's and will definitely come again!
Food was awful Olive Garden is better. Service and drinks were ok.
Both the food and drinks were wonderful. Our table chose fish and veal entrees; all 4 dishes were cooked perfectly. The waitstaff was attentive, but not overbearing. It was an overall very pleasant dining experience due to the staff and the friends we dined with. The only negative would be that I would have liked to have seen a drink menu. Benefit of the doubt with COVID, maybe this is something that we needed to request.
First time eating at Biagio's. Prime time, Saturday night. The service started off al little slow, but each staff member did their part. I believe this was due to it being busy. Our waiter and one of the managers made good recommendations on menu items and wine pairings. The food portions were very hardy and the quality was top notch. Nice ambiance in the front rooms, we were seated near the kitchen. I think the restaurant did a very good job, spacing out guests while accommodating the number of people they did have for a Saturday evening.
The pork entree was tough. Other entrees were very good.
The food was very good as was the service. With Covid I had wished the people capacity of the room we were in would have been at State mandated protocols rather than a full house. I was also concerned that our waiter initially had his mask down when speaking to us but later was in compliance for the rest of our dining experience.
The food was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the mood for authentic Italian. The service is incredible. I felt like they were knowledgeable on all the recipes.
Went out for our anniversary. From the moment we got there, we were very well taken care of. Service was spot on. From first bite of dinner to the last bite of dessert. If you want to go out somewhere special, make it Biaggio's.
It was the celebration of my birthday and the first time that I dined at Biagio’s. Everything was divine! I look forward to eating there again.
Always delicious!
Everything was delicious, the waiter was top notch. Biago’s never disappoints.
Biagio’s continues to be my favorite restaurant in Connecticut. There are so many high quality menu options that it’s a struggle figuring out what to order each time. Plus they have my favorite dessert menu and the staff are so friendly. Highly recommend for birthday dinners!!!;)
Disappointed. Overpriced. I left hungry. Ordered lobster ravioli and recieved 6 small raviolis in sauce for 23$. Average taste. Pleasant ambiance and service - no complaints there. Just portion size IMO is not worth the money charged.
I would go back the food was great! The outside seating area was beautiful.
