   Food was good, but not over-the-top great - for the price, we expected more. Service was adequate but slow-ish at times. Very nice people, just seemed not quite smooth overall. We'll go back, but would like to see more polished details - especially for the price.

   Tried this on recommendation of my spouse who knows one of the owners. Great little place in nearby town with great ambience and inventive menu. Portions good, bartender skilled, and service very friendly. No good parking, so had to take my chances on a business lot down the street that was closed for the evening.

    This is my third time dining in this restaurant and I always like to give more than one opportunity to the restaurants that I visit. We went to celebrate New Year and the food was bad so greasy and no gluten-free options. This time we were celebrating anniversary, same no gluten-free, I ordered a Salmon and was full with oil that u could not eat. No complementary drink or something like other restaurants do when you celebrate anniversary. The moment that we pay our sever never showed up to see if we would like some water or something else. I won’t go back

The majority of our dishes are gluten free with the exception of the Fish and Chips and the various bread/charcuterie boards. We are also in the process of finalizing a very nice "treat" for special occasions because we have so many patrons that celebrate at Bia.

    Was so looking forward to finally eating here. Unfortunately the nicest way I can say it is that it was classic NOVA overpriced average. It’s also surprising to see a menu without a single vegetarian entree. Although the kitchen was accommodating by making a vegetarian pasta and mushroom risotto neither entree was edible. The pasta was swimming in tomato water and the mushroom risotto had NO MUSHROOMS and was undercooked and tasteless. Save your time and money and go someplace else.

    Valentines dinner not on Valentine’s Day. Upstairs is relatively quiet when full. Nice menu with specials. Delicious dinner with pan roasted calamari, flat iron steak, lamb loin and chocolate torte. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

    Good food and good service. Their regular menu is limited but BIA regularly offers specials for the day. I had the lamb on this visit and it was cooked superbly.

    Our first time here. We ate at the bar; the service was very good. The special, a scallop dish, was amazingly good. I had the flatiron steak after asking where that cut originates. I was told it was flank, only to learn later that it was shoulder. It was well-prepared and perfectly cooked, but not what I was looking for. Entrees are expensive for what you get. The dinner menu was quite limited. The restaurant design and decor are gorgeous. I would go again for the atmosphere alone.

You are correct that it does come from the front shoulder of the steer. The flat iron is an innovative newer steak. It is the 2nd most tender steak (only filet mignon is more tender). So glad you enjoyed our overall design and decor. Our chef, Shane, has created a beautiful restaurant to share with everyone.

    One of the best additions to Purcellville in a long time. Bia's is our favorite place to dine, grab a drink or have a lite bite. Always a great experience. Love it!

    Loved the food and the service. Prices were fair. Upstairs dining room has beautiful brick walls, but sound of conversations bounce right off of them and reverberate around the room, so I felt like I had to speak at an elevated volume for my companion or server to hear me. Will definitely return.

    Our group of 6 had a perfect evening celebrating a friend’s birthday ! We were seated at a cozy round table upstairs with a lazy Susan in the middle - great for sharing appetizers. We had very friendly service and we all enjoyed our cocktails and delicious entrees. We finished the meal with coffee and the flourless chocolate torte. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu! Gorgeous atmosphere, too!

    Everything about this experience was amazing. Our server, Karen, was knowledgeable and friendly while hustling to make our evening special. Every bit of food and drink that was presented was delicious. We have been coming to Bia since they opened, but this time we brought out of town friends who were very impressed with the caliber of our little town's restaurant. We will be back, this place never disappoints!

    Bia is a wonderful restaurant. The drinks are original and very good, as is the wine selection. The food is outstanding! It is pricey, so I see it as more of a special treat place to go than a regular restaurant haunt, but it is well worth the splurge.

    This place is amazing! Everyone is very friendly and attentive. The menu offers GREAT options to make everyone happy and same with cocktails. For the ladies Bia Lady was an awesome drink! 1000% recommend to try their desserts. Churos are beyond delicious!

    We sat on the first floor because there were 2 parties on the second floor. We had a great time, wonderful food and it was quiet so we could talk. We had dinner on a Tuesday night so the restaurant was not full. Highly recommend Bia Kitchen.

    Wow!! What a spectacular restaurant with some of the highest quality food I have ordered. The halibut and salmon were cooked perfectly with beautiful plated presentation. The Guinness beer was poured to perfection. Our server, Jordan, was top notch. And the ambiance was warm, sultry, and relaxing. I would highly recommend making a trip to Bia Kitchen. You will not be disappointed.

    Beautiful place to sit and eat. Service was warm, friendly and slow. Food was absolutely not worth the price. Basic meat and veg dish was plain, the chimichurri was poorly flavored. I don't appreciate paying $40 for food i can cook so much better. Martinis were good, not great for the price. I will probably forget about this place and not go again. Definitely will not recommend to friends.
