   I have been enjoying "curry" for over 40 years, Bhoomi is one of the best restaurants I have encountered. Great food, attentive service, did not feel rushed. Good choice of wine and a reassuringly short menu. Take waiter's advice about spiciness. I had the chicken chilli option, (I suppose the clues are there!), but it pushed me close to my limits. My wife's butter chicken was also spicier than I would expect. Not a criticism though, both were fantastic. Chocolate samosas for dessert!!! WOW!

   The evening started off so well with excellent table service from the friendly informative staff. The starters were delicious. We had Salmon and poppadum's. The Salmon was full of flavour and the sauces for the poppadum's were exquisite. We were so disappointed with the main course. I ordered the lobster and prawn dish but found that the spice was over powering. I like spicy dishes but this was to another level. It totally took away from what should have been the star of the show, the lobster and prawns. I could not taste any of the prawns or lobster as the heat was far to overpowering. Not what I expected from such delicate ingredients. Equally the aubergine side we ordered was again extremely spicy. It is such a shame as the setting, service and quality of the starter was very high but the main star of the show was very disappointing.

   What a wonderful restaurant, amazing food and service which is unparalleled anywhere in Cheltenham. The atmosphere is extremely intimate and enjoyable and I can't wait to to go back.

   I made my first visit to this restaurant on Christmas Eve with my family on a recommendation from my parents. We do really enjoy good food and this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was beautifully prepared and presented and consisted of really delicate flavours. The portions sizes were not massive but as the food was so tasty this was not a problem. The staff were very friendly and helpful but discrete and not overpowering. The decor was tasteful and the ambience was calm and relaxing. The meal did cost more than an average Indian meal bit this was not an average dining experience. I will definitely be returning and would thoroughly recommend it as one of Cheltenham's top eating places.

   The food and service were both fab. I definitely recommend Bhoomi and will be going back.

   The moment we walked in we were made to feel very welcome, they were expecting us which was really nice. The immediate look of the place made us really comfortable and we knew then we were in for a treat. The staff informed us of the history of their food which I found really interesting, however the proof was in the eating and we were not disappointed. what can I say try for yourself

   The restaurant was great! Staff very friendly, kept topping up our water glasses throughout the meal. Food excellent, not a massive choice on the menu but what we had was excellent. I think it's a special occasion restaurant as more expensive than a normal Indian restaurant. Would definitely return!!

   We eat at Bhoomi's a lot because the service is fantastic and the food wonderful. We have never had anything less than an amazing experience here.

    Had a really lovely meal for two on a Friday night here. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable but not pushy, and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. Most important of all, the food was great - the butter chicken was the best I've had. Would definitely recommend.
