SHARED PASSION
For owners Mishal and Sundeep, food has always been a way to bring families, friends and communities together, a way to celebrate life and share stories.
Mishal vividly remembers fragrant aromas and laughter filling the air at garden parties as her father cooked in huge pots over a coal stove. It was here that her passion for food began, inspired by her father’s experimental and creative dishes.
For Sundeep, it’s the childhood trips back to India and memories of eating fresh dhal and fluffy rotis at roadside cafes in Punjab that he savours most. The atmosphere, the aromas and the flavours all evoke a delightful sense of coming home.
And it is his innate understanding of the link between food and celebration that helped Sundeep build a successful banqueting business in the heart of North West London.
It’s this passion, this emotional connection and joy for eating that the couple now bring to Bhageecha.
Friday and Saturday after 7pm, kids under the age of 10 aren't allowed

    Beautiful restaurant but didn’t enjoy the food. Very unusual flavours. Very small portions although the food did come quickly. There was hardly a meat on the lamb shank. We sat in the glasshouse within isn’t nicely decorated like the rest of the restaurant. We won’t be returning

    Gorgoeous place to dine with great interior design. Food is nice to eat and good place for occasions and get togethers with family and friends. I would say more staff is needed and possibly have music playing in the restaurant to give more ambience, service can be improved with staff showing more positive personality.

    This restaurant does not allow cancellations (without incurring a £10 fee) due to illness (without 48 hours' notice). I even offered a doctor's note as evidence, and this was rejected. Don't bother booking this restaurant, it is not worth it and the staff don't care if you're sick or not.

    Large and impressive restaurant tucked away in Aldenham. First impressions: confronted by ACOA signs in the car park requiring that you upload their app and pay for parking.. DON’T. When you get to the restaurant entrance it tells you it’s free when you enter your reg number on their tablet at the reception desk. The room was pretty full of families - clearly all regulars, with lots of kids…but we couldn’t have a conversation around the table, it was so loud. We chose the Dum Biryani and asked for mild but it was still lip numbing. Staff were lovely, very concerned and wanted to replace the dishes, but we decided against and headed home for ice cream! So not our best night, but others clearly like the place.

    We didn`t know what to expect, having seen the price list, but decided to take a chance......Boy, was that ever a great decision! The food was wonderful, and very imaginative. They even had a wider selection of dishes for vegetarians than carnivores. The waiter was friendly, informative and respectful. And, a rare thing, there was a waitress in the room the whole time, diligently waiting in case any of the clientelle wanted anything - noiw that was a refreshing improvement on trying to get the attention of waiters who don`t want to make eye contact. If I had any grumble, it would be that the service charge was only 6.5%, which I think undervalues the staff.
