Superb food, great service, perfect pacing.

The service, ambiance and owner was great!! However, the prices on the menu were much higher than the menu on their website. I guess because of Covid and being Valentine's Day they were trying to make up for lost revenue. I ordered the chilean sea bass which was a $40 entree. The skin was still on it and it was charred but extremely fishy to the point that I had to spit it out. The fish itself was under cooked. The owner brought it back to the chef to have it cooked more but it was not a very fresh piece of fish.

We came here for Valentine’s Day and had a lovely time. The owners make sure to walk around and say hi to the guests. We felt very appreciated and really enjoyed the ambience.

Excellent experience! Unique restaurant in the region with great food and service. A very well run operation as well. Highly recommend it .

Excellent! Our waiter was the best! (the chef's father). He made great recommendations and paced our dinner so great. Everything was so fresh tasting and presentation was excellent. We were here during really busy August, 2020 and now in the winter. Both great experineces. For sure we will be back.

Our group had the lobster bisque, Brussel sprout appetizer, lobster ravioli, steak salad and New York strip. All of the food was perfectly prepared and very good.

The entire staff was fantastic, owner was great, food was excellent. Hope to go back again soon.

I Was Pork Chopped!
My 2nd visit...I was thinking about having the Lobster Bisque & Scallops, when owner David came over to the table & announced "I have one pork chop left". He wouldn't let it go. I said I wanted the scallops. He said he would throw in some scallops along with the pork chop. So, I ordered the pork chop.
To my horror, when the bill came I was charged $25. for a 3 scallop appetizer!!
When I told the waiter the scallops were on Dave, that immediately brought Dave to the table. He thought we misunderstood...there was no gratis appetizer.
When I became upset, saying I felt pressured into ordering the pork chop & acquiesced because he was "throwing in the scallops". Dave said, " He would split the $25. with me!!" I was completely taken aback! What a Cheapskate!! This totally dampened our dining experience.

The whole experience was perfect.
The staff was efficient and engaging. We even chatted with both of the owners during our time there.
The outside porch was cozy and the music was relaxing.
Both of our appetizers and dinners were perfect. I would love to go back and sample more of the menu!

First time diners here. The craft cocktails were outstanding. The Rhode Island Calamari is a must-try. I don't know if this was just a good night, but that is the calamari by which all others will be measured in the future. Surf and turf was a special that night and I had filet mignon with a lobster tail. The tail was cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. My wife tried the halibut and raved about it. Our server Matt was just the right level of attentive and an absolute pleasure. Beyond the Sea will be a staple for future trips to the area for sure.

First time in Lake George what a great find. Crispy pork belly and the burrata salad outstanding! Great tasting surf & turf! Can wait to come back summer 2021 with my whole family!

Fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere, fantastic service!

Table wasn’t ready at time of reservation. Entrees took well over an hour to come out despite putting our order in quite quickly after being seated. Wine glasses were dirty, but the waitstaff was attentive in replacing them. Server was friendly and effective, important as she was very busy. Apps were well executed. Pork Belly, in particular. Scallops were seared perfectly. Steaks and duck were overwhelmingly overcooked. Sides were underwhelming. Not worth the $375 price tag for 4.

Anniversary dinner for my wife and I, nice atmosphere food was excellent. Would definitely come back, highly recommended.

Excellent food, great service and they recommended a solid wine everyone liked. The tuna was as good as advertised and they have an interesting take on Caesar salad (unique and good). Highly recommended.

Loved it, for a small country town, they have an upscale restaurant, modern menu with diverse selections, had a really good feeling about the dining experience

The presentation was excellent and the service was fantastic! However, my scallops and my husband’s salmon were way too salty to enjoy the rest of our dishes.

The food was delicious. We chose to eat outside. With the heat lamps we were very comfortable. The service was great.

Our experience was incredible! We were on a family vacation and needed a last minute reservation, took a chance on this place and so happy we did. The service was amazing, everyone was extremely personable and made us feel special even though the restaurant was very busy. The food truly speaks for itself, hands down one of the best meals we have ever had! Definitely a must when in the area, we will definitely be returning soon!

We really enjoyed our dinner. My filet mignon was perfect. Drinks, along with dessert and service all were very good. This is second time we had dinner here and both times we felt very welcomed. We would def return here whenever we’re in town.

The food was absolutely delicious (shoutout Chester, Adam and Sam!). Our waiter Matt was great too - great experience overall!

I would highly recommend this restaurant mostly for the food. The menu is eclectic which is good for a larger group. Although, there was mostly fish that was ordered with our group, the steak was also very good. A nice wine list with a good selection of price levels. Overall, this is an excellent choice for dinner with very good service, but with a casual vibe.

Such a wonderful vibe, great food and service and a terrific experience given the Covid climate. We loved it!

This was our third night eating out while staying at the lake. Let me tell you, the two previous restaurants were good, but this place nailed it!! Our server was awesome and the food was even better. (I have attached pictures of our meal choices). Just an unbelievable food experience!! Can’t wait to return in the Spring!!

We have been coming to Lake George for over 4 years now. We have been to quite a few Bolton Landing restaurants but have never made it to this place, until tonight. We did a wknd getaway @ the Sagamore for our anniversary & decided to come here on our last night. Food was delicious! My husband got the scallops which were phenomenal and I got the lobster ravioli which was delicious. Our waitress was the owners daughter and she was great. Very friendly & accommodating. I would definitely go back again! Highly recommend.

Loved this family-run establishment in adorable Bolton Landing. Food was very good and generous for the price, but the best part was the personality of the family staff that runs the place. Highly recommend!

Wonderful food and service. We had a salad, tuna, halibut, and cheesecake for dessert. All were excellent, as were the wines by the glass. The only drawback was the noise, which got louder as the evening went on (we were there from 6:30-8:15). The tin ceiling and the wood floor reflect the noise. However, since the food and service were so good, we would recommend and return.

On a busy, chilly Saturday night, the owners went out of their way to make sure we were happy while waiting on an outdoor table, offering us drinks by the fire pit while the table ahead of us finished up. They couldn't have been nicer. The food and service were excellent. I will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
