Bexley Premier Restaurant
Nice dinner and ambience. I recommend the place!
The menu had a great selection of choices. I'll have to go back to try more as the items I ordered were all great!!! The prices are very reasonable for fine dining.
We were greeted when we entered the restaurant. Our server was very friendly and attentive. There were a lot of food options to choose from. Our food was prepared and served in a timely manner. We all enjoyed the meals we ordered. We plan to tell our friends about your restaurant and are looking forward to returning to eat again soon.
This is a non-restaurant. Don't go here. We were the only people in the restaurant. There was no chef. The bartender did the cooking.
The food and service were absolutely incredible! My only feedback would be: the ambiance seemed a little stale. The lights were too bright and it felt a little like a cafeteria on the inside. Maybe put up art work to make it feel a little more cozy. There was also a loud group in the corner but it wasn't too bad. The food and service were spot on.
Food was fresh and delicious. I learned that the restaurant was recently sold to a new owner who intends on changing most of the menu. This will be sad unless is is with the same chef(s) who made our experience a good one.
Our foursome found this eatery to meet all our expectations. While they seemed a little slower than expected we started off with well crafted cocktails and it got better from there. Fresh bread with a wide app selection was followed by entrees that were wide ranging and all four of our dinners were well prepared and tasted great. Desserts were a bit low key but very satisfying. We talked to the new owner and the chef and they shared their emerging concepts with us. Exciting. We will be back to see how they execute. Don't miss a nice night out.
Went for a Sunday brunch - great food and service. Quite a surprise for a Bexley location - the quality of food and service was equal or better than any of the "hip" brunch spots in the Short North. Looking forward to going back next week.
Amazing food. Great service. Loved the ambiance. Keep on trucking!!
Second time we have dined there in the last month. Both times the food has been excellent as has the service. Definitely recommend.
A mixed bag. Steak and homemade steak sauce was great. Mashed potatoes blah
Beautifully decorated restaurant. The menu had lots of different choices for different tastes. We really liked what we ordered. I had the ribeye which melted in my mouth it was so tender. Also had the Brussels sprouts which were delicious. My husband’s chicken dish was also great. The service was excellent. The price point is moderate. My steak elsewhere would have been much more!
Great upscale restaurant in Bexley! Plenty of food choices with an attentive staff. Will definitely make a return visit.
Great overall experience! Food was delicious; service was incredible! We tried the burrata salad and grilled octopus—both had great flavor profiles. I had the New York strip and the hubs had the ribeye. Loved the presentation of each and both were tasty!
The selections, quality of food and service were excellent. I felt that the portion was on the small side but commensurate with the price. I would be willing to pay more for a larger portion. The banquet room upstairs is wonderful.
We went to Bexley Premier for our anniversary . This was our first time there. Food and service were excellent. We will definitely be back.
Great gem, wonderful find. You must check it out!
Service was excellent as well as the total experience. Food was outstanding. Great menu. Our 4th time here. Consistent.
I got to the restaurant as they opened at 5pm on a Saturday and we had the place to ourselves for a good while. Our waiter was very nice and took us on a tour of the party room. The food was fantastic and I will be back!
Amazing food, incredible service, friendly staff. I will be coming here often.
cute restaurant! this is perfect for your events to rent out! im an event planner and definitely would put this on my recommendation venue lists.
The service was excellent. Beautiful space- super clean- good food.
Katie was fantastic. Enjoyed Sunday brunch. Looking forward to coming back!
This place is VERY confused about what they want to be.
Cool ambiance at bar with backlighting and style. The dining area is upscale, but then they have a DJ playing loud music and sports on a massive screen. Then to top it off they have a cheap Chinese diner open sign in the window. Pick a niche and run with it!!!!!
Food was basic. They didn’t have one of their entrees available (chicken stew) and said they hadn’t had it for a couple of weeks. What???
I think if they decide they are an upscale bar/ restaurant or a sports bar with really over the top decor...then we might try them again...but based on our experience we don’t get the concept and will move on.
Bexley Premier Restaurant has excellent food and outstanding service. Items on the menu are pricey, and worth the money. We've been there several times, and will continue to return. If you can afford a high end restaurant, I highly recommend Bexley Premier.
Great food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere.
We really wanted to like this place but it didn’t work out at all. The service was fine but the food was way below average, and definitely not worth the premium price. I’m fine paying this kind of money but I do expect solid food. The octopus was chewy (not crispy on the outside, but the sauce was good), the beef tartare was brown and bland (not the fresh red color you would expect), and the prime new York strip was just bland. Worst part, the fruiti de mare linguini was inedible so I didn’t eat it. The seafood tasted like it had gone bad. I can’t explain it but you know when it happens. In their defense, the waitress noticed and took it off my bill. But that was it. The ambiance was also super cheesy—lots of marble and neon, and the giant screen TV is better suited for a sports bar than fine dining. It might do better as a sports bar, actually. I hope they can turn the place around and maybe change the name too.
The bar was outstanding and the bar tender made excellent drinks. The Ribeye was thin and tough. Muscles were good and the creme brulee was disgusting. Waitress was less than what one would expect. Unfortunately, I don't see this restaurant lasting.
Very exciting to have this Bexley Premier Restaurant in Bexley! It is a refreshing addition to the neighborhood. Very creative design of space and experience. Feels very modern and cozy simultaneously. The menu has exciting choices and the food was very good. I look forward to returning - some of the food is Georgian a cuisine we don't get to experience. My car battery needed jumped so I could leave on Saturday night and the staff and the valet just acted like it was normal to help, so appreciative - I went home very happy.
Soup was outstanding . on trays just ok under seasoned
The food was good and nicely presented. The service seemed a little ‘off ‘ but that may be due to the fixed menu for Valentine’s Day. It took 15 minutes get our wine but yet our dishes were rushed- hadn’t quite finished the first.
I wish there was a “maybe” option for this question “Woukd you refer this restaurant”.... I went for Valentine’s which was a specialized menu, meaning I don’t think I got to sample their actual menu. The food on the Vday menu was decent. I had short rib which was a little fatty and the potatoes were a bit cold. My date’s steak was tastier, but we didn’t get a steak knife making it hard to cut. The decor is nice and the wait staff was friendly. I might be inclined to go again, but I’m not sure given all the other Cbus options.
I was there for a Sunday brunch and ordered eggs Benedict - Norwegian and I would rate it the best I have ever eaten. My wife ordered eggs Benedict - Florentine, and she raved about her meal as well.
Very classy place with beautiful food. Not super-sized portions which was nice. The food was very flavorful and luxurious. I only hated the parking situation, a $3 valet was the only way to go.
This is a wonderful addition to the Bexley/Columbus food scene. A wonderful menu that's unique (not too many finer dining restaurants have borscht on the menu). The decor is quite lovely - especially the huge screen TV that had a shimmering fireplace adding to the warmth.
The steak I had (a 16oz, 35-day aged Ribeye) was so tender that I didn't need a steak knife. The French Onion soup was served in a mini tureen with a wonderful puff pastry was really tasty.
A couple of minor drawbacks: The acoustics were such that the sound bounced around making it a bit too noisy for conversation. Also I am quite the lover of creme brulee, and theirs was fairly pedestrian.
However, those are minor compared to the overall experience...which was wonderful.
Talk about a surprise find! We went for Restaurant Week but ordered off the regular menu as there were way too many good things to try!
We went for restaurant week. The restaurant was nice and quiet. The presentation of the salads was exquisite and they tasted good. The entrees were better but still in the good range IMO. My drink was okay. The dessert (chocolate cake) was also just okay. Overall just not as special as one would expect for the price. Perhaps the regular menu is better. The server was attentive.
We went to Bexley Premiere Restaurant for Restaurant Week and ordered from the prix fixe menu. The food was deliciously prepared and attractively presented. The service was attentive without being intrusive or rushed. We had a delightful evening. I am looking forward to returning and trying other items on this very interesting menu.
The food was the best part of the restaurant which is always a good thing but the ambiance left something to be desired. I think they were going for a trendy feel but ended up just feeling like a hotel lobby. The service was good but a little intrusive coming over every few minutes to check on things.
Very attentive service, great tasting food, and perhaps the best presentation of a meal we've ever experienced. Very nice ambience with an interesting fire place. We'll definitely add this to our list for favorite restaurants in central Ohio. Look forward to our next visit.
