   A fabulous time celebrating my birthday at Betty's today. A bucket list destination experience for visitors to York, celebrating a quintessential tradition. Exquisite savoury and sweet treats with a large selection of teas to sample in a very relaxing environment. Loved every minute.

   Been going for afternoon tea at Bettys for years & it has seriously gone down. The quality of the food as well as size of the deserts has seriously reduced. Overall not worth the price anymore despite the ambience

   Booked the Belmont suite to celebrate my wife’s 50th and daughter’s 15th birthday. Service was impeccable and food and drinks equally so. Piano was beautifully played. Overall a wonderful experience.

   A con booking via the Belmont page giving the impression of dining in the Belmont restaurant Wouldn’t go again not a patch on food upstairs

   Bettys have just started opening in an evening on Thursday Friday and Saturday and it was great there listening to the live piano music. The food , service and ambiance was excellent a most enjoyable time

   The upstairs room had a lovely feel with the pianist playing familiar songs. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious and our server Anne was really friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted:

   Four of us came to experience afternoon tea at bettys tea room and it did not disappoint The staff were all lovely from beginning to end and couldn't do enough for you we had Sophia serving us and she was very knowledgeable about the teas that were on offer all 14 of them the sandwiches and scones were really lovely and also the cakes which we took back to the hotel with us as we couldn't manage to eat them on the day Overall it was a lovely time
