   A fabulous afternoon tea celebrating two birthdays in a glorious setting the lad serving us was outstanding the right amount of humour very attentive. The food was devine.

   I had been looking for an opportunity to dine here for many years. After attending a wedding in Ripon the previous day gave me the chance to book us in for Afternoon Tea. We arrived promptly on time and greeted kindly by the Team and taken to our table. There was a lovely hum and everything worked effortlessly. Our waiter (Ben’s) was very congenial and made it a lovely experience. The sandwiches, scones, and cakes were superb, as well as the choice of teas. Unfortunately I was driving so could not upgrade to champagne or Prosecco. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone.

   Thoroughly pleasant and enjoyable experience. Food quality was excellent. The ambience was a not above other restaurants. Relaxing, soothing background music by a live pianist. Service as always incredibly polite. Only query I came away with was that I probably wouldn’t return until they seasonally changed the menu as we are non-meat eaters. Portion sizes were great.

   Delicious food, would have liked vegetables included in the mince meal and then it would have got a higher score for food. Nice ambience with the pianist playing. Coffee too expensive for a cup. Glass of wine very expensive.

   Delighted that Betty’s has brought back evening dining . It’s perfect - food, surroundings , service - all of it . Great that the piano is back . As my husband out it , ‘ just so civilised ‘ .

   It was a joy to be having our evening meal in Bettys again after they stopping opening in the evening after Covid. It was a totally beautiful evening. Delicious food, and perfect service from the lovely staff. Every detail, from the water and wine glasses to the elegant lamps on the tables, had been considered. Our table was by the window, with the lawns and flowerbeds outside and the evening sun glowing. Bettys is a very special, unique place, particularly the Harrogate branch. We are so lucky to have it.

   Very disappointing evening! Could hardly hear the piano! Drink service was a disaster. Food was very mediocre. Maybe evenings are not the way forward. The staff did their best but they are not trained to do a different service other than day service: the menu needs to be different - over cooked schnitzel, with a half pack of tomatoes, an odd looking gratin: desserts were good: the staff were professional and did there best. Would not go again.

   Love Bettys and the new late opening over Thursday, Friday and Saturday is a welcome new experience. Everything about it is a special treat.
