   It was a joy to be having our evening meal in Bettys again after they stopping opening in the evening after Covid. It was a totally beautiful evening. Delicious food, and perfect service from the lovely staff. Every detail, from the water and wine glasses to the elegant lamps on the tables, had been considered. Our table was by the window, with the lawns and flowerbeds outside and the evening sun glowing. Bettys is a very special, unique place, particularly the Harrogate branch. We are so lucky to have it.

   Very disappointing evening! Could hardly hear the piano! Drink service was a disaster. Food was very mediocre. Maybe evenings are not the way forward. The staff did their best but they are not trained to do a different service other than day service: the menu needs to be different - over cooked schnitzel, with a half pack of tomatoes, an odd looking gratin: desserts were good: the staff were professional and did there best. Would not go again.

   Love Bettys and the new late opening over Thursday, Friday and Saturday is a welcome new experience. Everything about it is a special treat.

   Fantastic afternoon tea, the best we have ever had. The ambience of the room was lovely with the pianist. The flavours were light and refreshing. Every member of staff was superb from handling enquiries, waiting on us to preparing our food. A lovely way to celebrate our anniversary.

   Have wanted to visit Betty's for a long time and I was not disappointed. Everything about it was fabulous; the tea, the food, the presentation, the ambience and most of all the service - discreet but also with that inimitable Yorkshire friendliness.

    Very friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere was very good and everything was very nice, polite and professional. Would recommend it to friends and family
