While we pride ourselves on the quality of our hand-selected U.S.D.A prime or black angus steaks and fresh-caught fish, our menu boasts vegetarian options that are anything but an afterthought.
Take in the sights and sounds on our outdoor terrace - one of the best spots for people-watching on Ocean Drive - or enjoy our airy dining room providing a front-row seat to nightly live jazz and latin rhythms.

The 8:45 open table res which was confirmed by the restaurant in separate text messages got honored at 9:20. Not a good start. Tuna tartar was ok to good. We could have used more than the three, count them...3, yucca chips that accompanied them. Especially when served to a table of four from the “appetizers to share” section. Prime NY Strip Steak, inadequately seasoned was just OK. Mexican duck for 2 sounded great on paper and advertised crispy skin. Think Peking duck. This boneless duck was more like eating pork shoulder in a mock duck skin. The duck meat was cooked well, but under seasoned. The skin seemed as if it were breaded and under fried (I was told it was not) instead of the thin crispy skin I imagined when I ordered it. Interesting idea, but poorly executed. Mole sauces which accompanied were good but on the whole I’d recommend something else. Crowded, relatively indifferent service, mediocre food and $375 for four is not a good formula. I have had better experiences here before. Too many other good choices around to ever come back. We did enjoy the jazz singer and guitarist in the bar as well as the great Cucumber Collins cocktails we tried on a lark while we waited nearly 40 minutes after our reserved time to be seated. No “sorry for the wait”....no round of drinks on us....no offer of dessert for the table. Nothing, nada, zilch zero.
LT Steak at the Betsy Hotel is a SouthBeach Icon. Its restaurant, bar and mini band stand are in effect theHotel’s lobby. The jazz and American standards entertainment are both very good and almost non stop.if you wish to have a quiet conversation I suggest you go elsewhere.BTW the cuisine is marvelous. I began with a crispy shrimp sushi roll stuffed with avocado and yellowtail i believe. It was delicious. The sushi offerings are varied, creative and beautifully presented. My wife began with a chopped salad that was delicate with a delicious simple dressing. Popovers are a house specialty and are exceptional. We each ordered a small filet mignon with the Betsy’s. Own béarnaise sauce that was perfectly prepared. We split an order of flavored French fries...that were too plentiful and too delicious.
The wait staff is exceptional and gracious. The crowd is eclectic...folks from all over the world. The bar is active and clearly a tourist attraction. Reservations are a must...we were seated about twenty minutes after our Open Table reserved time. I suspect we were lucky. A. Morse
The atmosphere with the live jazz was great. We did the pre-fix menu for $85/pp. For food was just ok. We were not wowed.
The bartender made us the best cocktails we’ve ever had. The food was perfect. Franco our server was personable and gave us several recommendations of places to visit during our stay! Will be back.
The staff was exceptional in providing service. The entrees were above expectations and the bread and Complementary dessert put a special climax to the end of our wonderful dining experience
Ridiculously over priced. Go to the Alley instead.
A great night out! Live latin jazz guitar music in the lobby and our dinners from steak to salmon were excellent. There were several delicous Gluten Free options. Save room for dessert. Homemade coconut lime and raspberry sherbet were yummy and Gluten Free. The chocolate cake was exceptional and presentation was grand.
best steak SoBe year in year out
A+++ caring service
sit inside where all the vibe is ⚡️
Tartar was a bit small and i would not give it 5 out of 5. Too much oil for my taste.
Additionally, i would recommend to think about soy sauce. It is too salty and too thick for my point of view.
Having visited this restaurant a few years ago when it was BLT, we were extremely disappointed about our experience on Sunday.
One of the best meals we had all weekend! Everything was fresh and delicious
Amazing service !
Always perfect. Service excellent, food outstanding. Who knew Jalapeño would go so well with yellowtail maki sushi
This used to be one of our favorite eateries in South Beach/Miami Beach. It has gone so far downhill. After our last experience we will never return. In the bar were a couple of third rate opera singers piping their screams into a mike (who heard of opera singers using amplified equipment?). They just added to the confusion, noise and general mayhem in the dining area. the food was air best mediocre and, of course, the prices high. Perhaps it was just a bad night, but for those prices you have to have consistency.
the food was dellicious, the space lovely but our waiter was at best tolerable.
Ate there twice in one week both times it was excellent.
Our server Oscar was pleasant and friendly, steak and sushi rolls excellent as always, but the support staff would just drop the silverware on the table and very cold attitude. Maybe the super bowl week wore them out.
A few issues with the food orders.
Food was great. It was the best steak we had.
Way too loud. Acoustics are terrible. Loved the live singer but with the noise of people talking- wow! Could not hear my dinner guests. Steak was great. The sides could use some help.
Will dine here again but for the price I believe Quality Meats around the corner is better.
Our server was wonderful and attentive and the entertainment was outstanding. Layle
Best place on Ocean Drive...well done...good live music (nothing wild)...food and service were excellent...and...of course....popovers!!!
Always a great meal but this time their famous truffle parm fries were cold....:(
To loud piano music.
Our Superbowl Saturday brunch was wonderful. Steaks were flavorful and cooked exactly as we requested. The fresh snapper was great as was a chicken over salad greens. Ambience was terrific with celebrity football players in and out attracting attention of fans. Service headed by waiter Konstantin was excellent as well. We had stayed at the hotel and eaten at BLT many years ago and everything is still as it should be.
Very very slow service
Bugs flying around our meal as they seated us next to an open door to back patio
Had brunch and meal was fantastic. They have a jazz band on Sundays which was lovely. Overall I’d say both restaurants at The Betsy are in the top 10 in South Beach based on many trips to Miami!
The maitre d and wait staff were very nice and friendly. The restaurant was about 70% full. Unfortunately, it took quite a long time for the food to make it to our table from the kitchen. Generally a little extra time in a bustling restaurant is not an issue for us, but the restaurant was not that busy and the food was not worth waiting for. The tuna tartar was quite good. However, the spicy tuna roll was subpar to say the least. It tasted like it was a day old and not refrigerated. The chopped salad was way over dressed. We ordered a porterhouse steak, a Dover sole (we ordered 2 but they ran out), and a snapper. They all arrived at the table lukewarm to cold, and each entree was extremely over salted (and that's putting it mildly). The fries would have been good if they were served hot instead of cold, the hen of the woods mushrooms were warm but killed by over salting, yet the grilled asparagus with lemon was delicious. We ordered warm chocolate cake for dessert, but alas, they were out of that as well. When this place was BLT Steak it was a fantastic restaurant. Apparently when it changed hands and they dropped the "B" from BLT, they also dropped the quality right to the floor. Stay away from here.
Everything in general was great. Food was very tasty and service was really friendly and professional. Definitely would recommend it.
Our Waiter “Grant” provided terrible service and careless for the service and the food!
Obviously because tip was automatically included in the bill.
My experience due to this service was below average.
Our waiter was very indifferent. It took 3 times to get sugar delivered to the table. My second cup of coffee never did arrive. 3 had the burger and it was not rated the best in Miami (not even in the top 10). The fries were very good.
I had the fish tacos. Although spiced well, there was one small piece of fish in each taco about 1/2 the size of my baby finger. It looked very lonely in the soggy taco wrap. Very disappointing.
We have eaten at your restaurant at least 3 times but won't be back for quite some time.
The Food is so fresh and the Best Steak in Miami. Kent our server is amazing !!!!! and Chris the Manager is outstanding Great Job to both and the Chef
This is located inside the Betsy Hotel, so its priced as such. The Steak was good but pricey. The wife had a Chicken Cesar Salad... overall it was really solid, but expect a hefty bill.
