Bethanga pub is a classic country pub. The drive to the pub from every direction you may come from is very picturesque. When you arrive at the pub in the valley with all the hills around, you walk into the pub that has been there for over a century. You are met with a smile from, Dan and Jackie who own the pub, the friendly bar and waiter staff. You receive that good old fashion country pub service. The beer is cold and the chef's food is excellent, they have a great variety to choose from on the menu and the specials board is well worth a look. It is a great pub any time of year to vist, from the outdoor seating, beer garden and petting Zoo for the kids. There is a wood fire that radiates lots of heat inside the pub that warms you up and gives you that cosy country feel. If you're into history, there is plenty of photos all around the pub showing the evolution of the pub from when it opened in 1878 to what it is today.

We had a beautiful lunch and the service was really friendly and happy. Guitarist playing and he was good. Great place to go for Mothers Day

Didn't meet expectations... food choice ok, quality of food lacked flavour (Squid rings soggy) but average atmosphere for a Sunday lunchtime. Staff welcome was lovely but typical pub meal.. nothing to write about for the price.

We were outside, by choice and had a lovely heater over the table. Very comfortable. Stayed longer for a few drinks. Lovely place to catch up with friends.

We have eaten here at least once a month since September 2024, and we have never had a bad meal here. The food is delicious and always cooked to perfection, the kids meals are always brought out first to keep them busy, the staff are always friendly and happy to help. The live music is awesome and provides a great atmosphere. I cannot recommend Bethanga Hotel enough. Keep up the great work guys!
