From the entering to the exciting, all staffs are welcomed us and provided best hospitalities. Asked us what we preferred and suggested us menus we will like. We ordered some of the suggestions(included cocktails), 4 of 4 all foods were perfect. Cleaning empty plates and set up new sets of utensils were very quick and on time.
Their professionalism on the services is number one. Definitely, we will visit here again.

OMG! This was so great! FOOD, SERVICE and the ENERGY was amazing. Perfect for a Monday night. And we would have normally been up in Sundance Film Festival but the in-person got cancelled. So our team was here in LA. And we have been on ZOOMS and COMPUTERS and SCREENINGS since January 20. This was a great place to really celebrate and get out of our home office.

The FOOD was memorable and so amazingly good. We split everything. Started with a pizza with lamb sausage as an appetizer. Then the Caesar Salad. Then two amazing pasta dishes - the GNOCCHI and the PASTA DUMPLING with Truffles - OH MY GOODNESS!

And the BRANZINO and the DUCK LEGS! OH MY GUTTTTNESSSS! and then dessert - that PEAR TART! ooof!

Thank you BESTIA - you made our SUNDANCE 2022 at HOME in DTLA!
Will come by again! Love this place...

We had reserved about a month in advance, so we were bummed when we checked in and were seated at a table that was basically set up in the waiting area with people waiting to be seated right behind us with NO apparent concern for social distancing.

On request they moved us to a better table in the front terrace, which was fine, although on the edge of a busy doorway.

It’s a scene, obviously, but still, it’s not like we hadn’t planned ahead!

The food was very good, with the sauce of the agnolotti dish good but a little heavy for my taste. We ran out of the anchovy sauce for the lamb neck it was so good, and the waiter promptly brought more when asked. The chocolate budino was fine if a little underwhelming. Overall worth the wait.

Excellent food and a wonderful night out. Our table was not ready for almost an hour beyond our reservation time. The service related to this delay was not great at all. The restaurant could have brought us a round of drinks and done more to communicate with us during the wait. Delays happen but how a business enterprise does service recovery is key. I would ask the management to have a more service orientation.

I brought my kids for dinner and the staff was so attentive to them and made them feel welcome knowing that the vibe is for adults that night. The server even mentioned how some dishes can be kid friendly. The kids preferred to try the dishes as is and they were not disappointed. Not my first time there and the quality remains the same which is great!

been wanting to try bestia forever... but was very underwhelmed w the whole experience. our waitress wouldnt even let us order our drinks and said we had to order food and drinks all in one go...but we were able to add on. well we went w 8 dishes and it wasnt enough so we ended up adding a pork chop at the end... only to have our waitress tell u in a very annoyed voice that it was gona take 30 min and that her manager basically said we had to be out at 830. (we ordered at 730... we had gotten there at 630...so we legit ate 8 dishes so quickly).... the food was ok but def not worth the price tag. drinks were ok..nothing fab. will def maybe just try the bar area next time to avoid rude waitress. (but the front desk, other servers, bussboys were absolutely a pleasure and so sweet). anyone paying 600 for a meal should not be met w an annoyed waitress and be tried to rushed out tue door. theres always a proper way to say things to customers..... and a nice way of letting us know abt a time limit.

I can not imagine anything at this restaurant you'd need advice or help with. Just make sure to look your reservations well in advance and be flexible. Everything here is amazing.

Really wonderful! Everything was delicious and the restaurant was so great about helping us change our reservation timing and following up with an alternate option! Everyone from our server to the rest of the staff was really fantastic and knowledgeable about our dishes - we had a wonderful time!

This place was a nice find. The food was delicious and the service was great. We enjoyed the different types of food we ate such as bone marrow appetizer and the sage and mortadella pizza. We especially loved the crostata dessert and the drinks we got (Old fashioned and Moscow mule)
The only minor cons we had was that it was a bit crowded as you would sit pretty close to other customers and that the music was loud (this was pretty minor for us as we enjoyed the hip hop music that they were playing).

Overall, we would definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner!

The rousing rallying cry/esprit de corps heard by the staff prior to the 5PM opening definitely was reflected in tonight's service and meal. Customer service by the two hostesses, server Lillian, all wait staff wonderful in taste, balance and texture. Thank you Bestia. What a perfect evening. We ordered (with assist from Lillian): Copi Di Testa, Pastas Agnolotti & Quadretti, the Duck, Chocolate Tart, Pear Tart, and took home a Mortadella/Sage Pizza (perfect). Also, the Gwendoyn's Will cocktail....excellent.

We went to Bestia last night and the food was nothing short of amazing! Also, the service was top notch - the pacing of the food was done to perfection and our server was highly attentive. Would definitely come again and will highly recommend to others!!

Took my husband to Bestia for his birthday and the service was impeccable. Literally every single staff member wished him happy birthday. The food was delicious – would definitely order the Fermented Sweet Potato Ravioli and Chestnut & Mushroom Agnolotti again. Both pastors were incredible.

Celebrated my husband’s birthday with our daughters, it was our first time here. For appetizers, we ordered beef tartare, Peruvian scallops, and the house-made ricotta and grilled bread. For our entrees, we had margherita pizza, squid ink chitarra, saffron gnocchi, and branzino. Everything was superb! We savored every bite.

Service was outstanding. Our water glasses were continuously filled and empty plates cleared promptly. Our server was so attentive. I loved how they described the ingredients enthusiastically about how each dish was prepared each time they served it. It was refreshing to feel the entire staff loved their job.

For dessert, we ordered the chocolate tart and panna cotta with Meyer lemon cookies since they sold out of the coffee and donuts and warm pear tart. The crust of the chocolate tart was good but the filling was just ok. There was very little panecotta in the vessel just a bit bigger than a shot glass. And the Meyer lemon cookies were more like delicate, paper thin wafers. Definitely not worth the price.

I would’ve given this review five stars if it wasn’t for the dessert. But overall, we was a wonderful night filled with amazing food, service, and ambience. Can’t wait to go back but will try different desserts.

The service was excellent and far exceeded my expectations. We arrived over an hour early for our reservation and they still seated us only about 10 min after our arrival. The waitstaff were supper attentive. The food came out quickly. The portions weee substantial. Our favorite was the mussels and the mushroom pasta. Delicious! Big thanks to the busboy who chased us down because we left our to-go box of pizza at the table. Great experience I can’t wait to come back. The only downside is the seating. I realize in tough economic times restaurants must maximize their space but at the expense of your customers comfort? Tables were literally on top of each other and were very very uncomfortable. I’ve never been to a restaurant that had the back of other diners less than a foot away from my table.

Honestly a must to eat at-at least once! I loved their mussels, scallops, and bone marrow pasta. Personally their black truffle pasta was okay and I think we could've gone without it. The noise level where we sat inside was very very loud and it was hard to hear my family across the table. Overall would love to go again in the future, and maybe request to sit outside. Also it seems like the kind of place that is better to go with a smaller group.

We went as a party or 4 for reservations at 9pm. Got seated about 10 minutes after. Food was amazing! Drinks were strong and made right. It is very loud so be prepared to scream lol

My husband and I go to Bestia at least every week because we cannot get enough of the food. If you want the best bone marrow, then go to Bestia. They also have the best Cavatelli alla Norcina and the best plate of bread and mussels. Super delish!
