Bestia Ratings and Reviews
I tried 2 other times to get a table here as a walk-in & finally planned it through Open Table.
The food was subvert, as expected. But the service was surprisingly good. I don’t know why I thought it might be pretentious, but it wasn’t. We got genuine, above par service from somallier to ‘water ninja’. And our waitress, Melanie, took care of 2 different food allergies by customizing our menus so we knew which dishes on the menu we could eat (as they do not offer substitutions).
And you simply MUST order the bone marrow. MUST. Seriously though.
The quality that’s delivered depends on the day. My experiences at Bestia have ranged from 3* to 5*. On a good day, you’ll receive everything you could ever ask for from a restaurant and more. On a 3* day, the food can be a bit salty and the service a bit lacking.
Can’t really say that I would recommend this place for anything other than the food... which was delicious. The problem was the service. Late seating, sporadic service and the kitchen lost one of our orders. Understandable that things happen, but the lack of hospitality and interest was pretty edifying. So that said, food is great, service awful... probably wouldn’t recommend it
I went with a group of friends; it was five of and we tried about 1/2 of menu and everything was good! In regards the service it was great as well ... we were taken care of without being interrupted and we never had to look or chase the staff to bring us anything. Love it!
This was our fourth time dining at Bestia and my partner and I agreed it was the best service we’ve had yet. The food is consistently fantastic, even when dining with my partner’s family who are picky eaters. Bestia never feels intimate but the entire staff from servers to support and sommeliers all give you special attention and consideration.
Everything about the food and drinks was great! However, we would've liked to have a normal table/low chairs out of the bar area since we had dinner reservations and were not walk-ins.
High chairs are very uncomfortable when dressed up and anticipating the normal seating.
First off thought it was standard Italian. After the meal I was pretty impressed great food amazing service. Would have given 5 stars 🌟 across but the pizza was a bit of a disappointment but everything else was amazing . I hope the kitchen reads these reviews. The basil 🌿 on a margarita pizza should be raw and placed on after cooking FYI not baked and burnt on there and unfortunately it was soggy in the middle. I really felt if it had been prepared and cooked properly it would have been as amazing as the rest of the meal was. Thanks for and great date!
literally, this is the BEST restaurant in LA, Hands down. Everything is superb. I save up every year to make this happen. It's definitely not cheap but it's worth every penny! I've recommend it to all of my friends and all of them have said nothing but great things. If you have a party of more than 2, be sure to make a reservation.
All the dishes were prepared nicely. The $130 steak was a highlight. Unique but limited wines by the glass -not optimal for someone who likes to enjoy 2 or 3 different wines. Pleasant, attentive service. Industrial ambiance. Noise level was bearable.
Overall an enjoyable experience, will return to try some of their other offerings.
