Went to celebrate birthdays. Every plate was amazing!
One of my favorite restaurants, meals, and experiences eating in LA. Always a great time!
Restaurant was so busy! But the host was super nice and got us seated as quickly as he could. Our waitress was AMAZING. We had really late dinner reservations so there were some items that weren't available on the menu, so she ran back and forth from the kitchen to make sure we got the items we wanted. The food was so good! I've been trying to come to Bestia for the longest time and regret not coming sooner!!! Will definitely do this again and try the other menu items I didn't get to try! Thank you Bestia for such a wonderful first experience!
The service was fantastic we had Daniel as a server and the food that came out was explained with the most accuracy. We were seated outside and it was the perfect atmosphere because we could hear the music inside but it was still quite romantic for my girlfriend and I. This was a great place for my anniversary!
Great service and amazing food. Did feel the service was rushed but could just be a Saturday night. One of the glasses had a crack in it and we didn’t notice - the server took it off the bill. And the manager came to apologize after. Very thoughtful and attention to detail I thought
Great foods and vibes! Seating is tight.
Best restaurant in Los Angeles. This place doesn’t disappoint
Underwhelming, seating is too close to each other
Food was very delicious, you cannot go wrong with anything you select
Great food but our waiter was just so-so. Had to flag him down for additional drinks. But the other workers were attentive and filled up water constantly and removed empty plates quickly.
To noisy, not confortable. The food was delicious. They 4% extra in service.
Really great food, top notch service, and great atmosphere. Couldn't have asked for more.
The food is absolutely fantastic. My only complaint is that we had a reservation at 745 and were not seated until 815. Other than having to wait, the food was stellar and it has a great, very lively atmosphere
Truly some of the best, most delicious food I’ve ever eaten in my life. Everything was fantastic, from the pasta to the lamb neck. The restaurant was packed and lively and you could tell everyone was enjoying the food. I’ll be back as soon as I can!
Staff was wonderful, food was incredible, would eat here every night if I could.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere.
We had heard that Bestia had been regarded as the best restaurant in LA. The food is indeed good but I do not think it deserves such high praise. The signature dish is bone marrow but, if you don’t eat bone marrow, it’s mostly pizza, pasta and a few fish and meat dishes. The restaurant is quite noisy and chaotic. The tables are much too close together, especially these days. The service was odd. I had to ask 5 times about my drink until it finally arrived with my entree with no apology. Overall, it was an average experience.
We’ve been looking forward to dining there and while an interesting experience and tasty food, we will not return.
Bestia is probably my favorite resto in LA. The food is inventive but not too fussy. The service is very efficient, friendly and sometimes loud. It has an industrial DTLA vibe and always feels festive.
This iconic Arts District spot is every bit as wonderful as it was several years ago. The service was stellar, the food ridiculously delicious and it stands the test of time in a very fickle and trendy DTLA!
Thank YOU :-)
I was in LA for the first time since the pandemic began and knew I had to get to Bestia. What a fresh blast of hot air to the face it was be back feeling the noise and energy of my favorite LA spot. Or maybe it was my seat at the chef's table just feet away from the fire that makes the best pizza on the West coast. Burrata with green olives and the perfect amount of spicy peppers and salt. Perfection. The grilled cabbage was new to me and a winner. Both recommended wine pairings were spot on as well.
One of my faves restaurant
A lot of people, too much noise. The food and de service were excellent
This is one of my favorite restaurants in LA. The food is great and the ambiance and service is always perfect. It is pretty loud instead but we sat on the patio. My favorites are always their crudo and bone marrow. But can’t go wrong with any dish. We were really sad that they were out of the chicken gizzards when we ordered them since my husband has always wanted to get them and we were there for his birthday.
My favorite restaurant in LA. Kind of jarring to see how close the tables are to each other.
Celebrating first date anniversary and marriage
It was an amazing experience
The food, the service, the energy all stunning
We tried 6 different items and couldn't pick a favorite. Delicious from starter to dessert. Bravo.
I loved this place. My boyfriend and I celebrated our one year anniversary and this was the perfect way to conclude it. Drinks were good and the food and service were amazing.
Bestia is always amazing and they have perfected the service and food experience.
Everything was divine, we had the roasted bone marrow - the whipped ricotta - saffron pasta with truffle - gnocchi - pizza - & the pork chop. Each of them was a show stopper, divine. We also had the wagyu - great quality, slightly too gamey and though we ordered it medium rare, it felt more on the rare side for me but the rest of the table loved it.
Every dish is delicious! The scallop prudo and bone marrow was rated best, and the biggest surprise was the romaine lettuce that came with a mild but distinct dressing that brings out the freshness of the leaves. The only complaint is the high noise level inside. Service is at a professional level!
Bestia never disappoints! Absolutely love every dish. The main dishes that keep me coming back includes the bone marrow, scallops, the cavatelli norcino, and the panna cotta, but honestly, EVERY dish is so good!
I was worried this place might be over-hyped. Rest assured it is not. Some of the most interesting and tasty dishes I have ever had. The peruvian scallop crudo was an amazing combination of diverse flavors. The bone marrow pasta (in antipasti) was simply life-changing. I will definitely return.
Great food. Very delicious. But the environment is kind of crowded. A lot of people are waiting in line. Tables are small.
Very energetic vibe. Delicious food. Relatively small portions but filling. Don’t miss out on the pizzas!
Nothing was done for the birthday we were celebrating even though it was said in the app & told to the waiter. Had no vegan salad dressing option, only 1 item was vegetarian. Not a good choice to go with friends if one doesn’t eat meat. Most items had game meat at that! Very loud, couldn’t really hear each other at our small table, couldn’t hear wait staff either.
It’s just getting better each time we visit. The Housemade Buttermilk Ricotta and Mussels are amazing. The pasta and the Branzino are a must. The pastry chef should get an award and a salary raise asap. The best ! Big thanks!
