Bestia seems like it has really good food, they ran out of food towards the end of the night. If you want to actually have a taste of this restaurant, I would recommend going earlier while they haven't run out of food
Overall the experience was fantastic. Delicious food great drinks great environment I would definitely recommend
Another great night at Bestia. Never disappoints- favorite restaurant in LA hands down. Food, service, cocktails, ambiance- it's just fantastic.
Over all very good - Noise level too high can’t even hear a table conversation
Outstanding sitting is inconvenient, loud, cold and windy. Menus and checks are blown off the table, delicious food gets greasy and cold in minutes. Disappointed
Amazing food and service. Every dish we ordered was top notch. Highly recommend!
Had a great server, made delicious recommendations. Was worried about the 90 minute time frame but food came out fast with plenty of time to eat and converse. Servers were attentive. Everything was perfect. Great to be back!
we where there to celebrate my birthday, food was very good, we have the mussels and the roasted arrow bone for entree, they where very good
the other plates took a lot to arrive, we where not hungry anymore
the place is very noisy, since I was there for my birthday I was expecting something but they didnt sent anything
My favorite restaurant on planet earth. Not much more to say than that.
One of my favorite places in the planet! Even the dishes that are not as impressive would be the best dish in any other restaurant only because how can one choose between everything to decide what's best!!! Enjoy!
Best food in LA. Half the menu has been revamped and it’s all amazing. Grilled Kohlrabi is a must.
Food was amazing and service was great. There was a little bit of a wait (30 min) even though we had reservations but that's the only thing and it's not bad considering all the new Covid restrictions.. Overall, it was a good experience, friendly service, safety protocols were good, and food was top notch.
Bestia never disappoints. Food was amazing, service didn't feel as personal as previous visits, but still good. Will be back again soon!
Outdoor was windy and we felt like that the waiter was slightly rushing us.
Overall great experience and there food and service was as expected. Only negative is that if you sit indoors there’re is a lot of smoke coming from the kitchen… so your night out clothes will smell like smoke. Not sure if it was a one off type of a night on the part of the kitchen. We had to move outdoors in the end.
The food was not bad but the prices were high so we have expected better tastes.
Everything was delicious and our server was very friendly!
I have been wanting to get reservations to Bestia for years now and finally got lucky with an outdoor reservation on a beautiful Tuesday. The service was wonderful and we loved our waiter and his positive attitude and upbeat personality. The cocktails were great. Everything we ordered was shared family style and all of the dishes were full of delicious flavors and seasoned to perfection. I highly recommend Bestia LA and will be coming back here over and over to try all of their dishes!
Don't let the outside and neighboring area fool you, but Bestia is a nice hole-in-the-wall with a unique indoor ambiance. The food was OK, albeit a bit pricey for the quality IMO. The waitress was all business and pushy with (over) ordering food, however.
We were asked to leave the restaurant before getting our food due to an issue with the fire alarm.
While I understand, it was a huge miss on service to not be offered compensation for a future visit or the opportunity to re-book for another date with more ease.
Best restaurant in DTLA
I would definitely come back
Roasted bone marrow was delicious
Bestia not only lived up to the hype, it surpassed it. From appetizers to cocktails, everything we tried was great. The stand out of was the bone marrow, which we will be getting 2 of next time!
They took to much time to prepare the table even when I came on my reservation time. Also, they didn't bring the food together on purpose. The Margarita pizza was delicious and the ice cream was amazing.
It was very awesome all the help was very kind
Everyone was so helpful and I they helped us work our way around the menu
As one of L.A.’s annointed hot spots, you expect better. This is a city with no shortage of exceptional Italian eateries and this is not one of those. Loud (until another party convinced them to crank down the music - the decibel level was high enough w/o the eardrum vibrating volume), aggressive service, acceptable but not outstanding food and a ventilator working so overtime it is insufficient to void the meat smoking on the grill. A visit to the dry cleaner on top of the pricey dinner is not a positive attribute. The venue is fantastic but not a reason to return. Which we won’t.
This place is awesome. The food is incredible, the service is top notch and I would say the price point is spot on.
This wonderful place has yet to disappoint. Every time we come here it makes us want to shoot over to also try Bavel, but I just can't tear myself away from Bestia.
Scallops - amazing
Lemony Poppyseed torte - to die for
Amazing service + food! Thank you!
Worth the hype. This was the special occasion return to dining experience we were looking for. From the light and zesty appetizer of kohlrabi and perfect dill mushroom sauce to the pastas and main event branzino, fun wine list and great service.
Really this was a perfect meal, for me the noise level was high but not unbearable ... maybe I'm getting old or maybe its just the dynamic of the outdoor tent.
Overall from first impression to last bite of dessert we loved everything about this meal.
As usual, another delightful experience at Bestia. Even with pandemic restrictions there are many seating options including a very pleasant setting under the tent out in front where we sat. The food was outstanding. The Lobster Crostini was so good, we ordered it twice.
Phenomenal menu that is constantly evolving. Highly recommend.
Service was excellent. Waiters were very clear. Food was extremely delicious.
First time out since the quar, 15 months!! Very safe, very thoughtful layout, food was as excellent as the four times I’ve been there before!!
We love Bestia and will continue to come back. If you're looking for an awesome restaurant, this is the place to be.
This restaurant is not what it used to be in terms of the menu, flavors, and service.
Our waiter was absolutely terrible. We tried to make the best of it. It started by just asking for another menu since we had only two for a party of 4. Told us to just share and left. Ok? Super sassy and short with our table. Possibly a bad night? We were in no way rude in any way possible... Ruined a night trying to celebrate a birthday.
Got seated at the outer most edge of the outdoor dining. There was such little light that I had to use my phone light to see the food. Overall food was great. Our server was amazing, friendly and tentative.
We had to wait 30 minutes with a reservation. The food was good but no great and over priced for the quantity.
We love Bestia! When we’re in Los Angeles, it’s our favorite restaurant without a doubt! The food was extraordinary and the support staff was extremely helpful.
However, on this visit, the waiter was not very friendly and just a little snippy. He asked if we wanted more bread for the Buttermilk Ricotta, but he never brought it and he charged us for it. I asked if I could cancel my beer without charge and order a bottle of wine. He said, “yes,” but I was still charged for the beer. Consequently, I was a little unhappy with his service. However, his service did not overshadow a long awaited and otherwise extraordinary evening.
Dinner was still a 5-star experience and we look forward to our next meal with mouth watering anticipation! Bravo, Bestia! Don’t forget to purchase a copy of their book. It’s perfect for your coffee table!
