Food beautifully prepared and presented family style. Portions decent though not overwhelming. Standouts were the agnolotti the margherita pizza the pork chop and the budino tarte. . Especially for chocolate lovers. Service was great but the restaurant is so loud even our waiter could not hear our orders completely. And close to the kitchen there is a constant smoke presence. A very busy place but honestly outdoor seating is quieter.

Bestia was good. But it is astronomically overpriced. There are places with just as good food for less. Or go down the street to Girl and The Goat or Bavel (same owners) for a meal that's worth what it charges.

Once my favorite restaurant, now seems to be lacking attention. Menu seemed less inspired, and service was… lacking. Food was good, but not as well executed as in the past. This restaurant was always top of my list for dining out, but I don’t think I’ll be back.

The staff is ridiculously attentive. Anyone walking past your table will fill your water. They have service down to a science here. Bone marrow is the greatest, and the pizza is some of the best in the business

Had a very bad experience at Bestia for my Dad’s birthday. The restaurant is very loud and difficult to have a conversation. Waitress was pushy and tried to oversell pricey menu items like the $180 wagyu ribeye. We ordered 4 pastas, a pizza, the lamb neck and a caesar salad. Pastas were nothing special and very small pieces, pizza crust was burnt black, pork chops were incorrectly brought to the table instead of the lamb neck and the salad never arrived and had to cancel. There is a $50 corkage fee and we poured our own glasses the whole night. Everyone was in a bad mood and over the whole dinner by the time dessert arrived. Will not be going back again.

2 (squid ink pasta and lamb neck) out of the 3 we wanted to order were out by 9pm. If you really want to try those popular dishes, make sure you get there early. The branzino (European sea Base) was tender, juicy and delicious.

Generally, the Food remains a revelation still after all these years. But I have to say the closing chapter sucked extremities in a profound way… absolutely useless dessert (crème fraiche) and the worst coffee ever that really took the sparkle out of the occasion. They are vehement in their refusal to serve a latte, expresso or cappuccino etc… Why? The coffee dessert combination was like being served from a different restaurant close in caliber to a Dennys…. Why why why why why…….??????

Table is small, and the distance b/w tables was too small, the next table people almost touch when they sit at their table. The restaurant was very crowded. The food was very delicious, and the service was good; we ordered 2 drinks and 4 dishes, and they served the food so fast, we finished the dinner within one hour, which was super nice..... don't like to sit there waiting for food for too long.

Worst experience so far. Had been great until we sit in the bar table, and the bartender has been disrespectful since the first second. He got something wrong ordered, but blamed us sending it back which we never did. The manager came and did not apologize for any inconvenience they brought to us, even after we told her the whole unpleasant experience. The restaurant has been one of my favorites, but this experience is really disappointing. Please tell your staffs how to be a great problem solver and how to show respect to others(regardless if they come speak another language or showing you the picture of food that want to order).

One of the best meals we’ve had in a while. The bone marrow pasta and lamb pasta were delicious. Panna cotta dessert was light and strawberries were fresh and sweet. Will definitely come back when in LA.

Been wanting to visit Bestia for some time and it lived up to the hype. The Roasted Bone Marrow appetizer, the squid ink pasta and the Lamb Neck entree were all awesome with great flavors. And our server Melanie was both energetic and helpful! Can’t wait for our next visit!
