We'll be offering a 3 course dinner curated by award-winning Chef Michael Cimarusti. For those looking for something not so traditional, we'll also offer our regular menu. Reservations recommended so you have a guaranteed spot at our table. If you'd rather stay in your PJs we offer take out as well.
Nice! We went at night so it was pretty cool, but they had heaters out. We sat in front of the marquee so it was a nice photo opp. Service was good & had no complaints.

Everything was pretty great, and I'm glad they've been able to reopen! You're right on Broadway, so lots of traffic noise and people walking by right next to you. But it was a nice night.

Went with a group for a friends birthday. Terrible experience. Basically have to fend off panhandlers the whole time. They did t take our order for like the first hour. Coffee got cold, had to remind the server multiple time about drink refills or other things. Food came totally separated. I was done with my brunch before my wife even got hers (she forced me to eat cause she knew I’d was starving). Server brought the wrong check, and then tried to tell us it was basically to same amount as what was shown on the check for another table she gave us. It wasn’t, it was more than $50 more than what our original check would’ve been. Mama her comped the entires check, which was fine, but I’d rather have a great experience and pay for my meal. Will never come back again unfortunately. Total bust.

As I said that day, we definitely did make some mistakes, and are truly sorry that you had a bad experience. We've been away for 6 months and last weekend was only our second week back. The outdoors covid set-up is extremely cute. But just beware of the amount of homeless people around the area asking for change. The restaurant is cognizant and takes care of it but it's still a bit uncomfortable. Other than that the place is great.

I would basically recommend Best Girl - ACE Hotel Downtown LA for those going to performances at the ACE Hotel. It is convenient to the theater and what I ordered was pretty good. It would not necessarily be my choice for dinner otherwise.

Late brunch - grabbed the table at 2:15 and the place close at 3pm but we never felt rushed or unwelcome. The hostess to the two servers were engaging and friendly. Food came out pretty fast. My wife had the blueberry ricotta pancakes that had great flavor but there wasn’t any fresh whipped cream to go with. I had the eggs en cocotte that were just the right kinda spicy, smoky and tomato-ey good. Orange juice is freshly squeezed, mimosas flowed easily and the whole place has a chill vibe. We will be back

I love the food and drinks here, but on a busy night, the staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive. It's also so loud that you have to scream to be heard by your dinner companions. I suggest visiting off-peak or sitting outside if possible.

Great brunch before the game at Staples. Blueberry Ricotta griddle cakes were substantial yet light and turned to perfection and the latke topped with smoked salmon was a full plate version of a terrific canapé. Friendly servers and a hipster vibe still worked for a couple old friends getting together before the game

Everything was great, but, really, no espresso service after 7 pm?
Thanks for the feedback. Very glad to hear that you enjoyed your meal. Our coffee shop does close down at 8pm so we generally are able to offer espresso until that time. Fantastic. The interior environment is nothing fancy, but the menu choices and the food preparation is awesome, really great. The service was great too, friendly and attentive. And the neighborhood is fun.

Delicious. Great atmosphere. We came in for Valentine’s Day and had one of the best meals of our dining lives. Their Jidori Chicken is to die for. Highly recommend.

We had the price fix menu for Valentines day and it was wonderful- they were accommodating on changing a salad for my diet and the vegetarian option was very delicious but I could have enjoyed a couple more house made ravioli when compared to the large carnivore portions I saw served. The dessert was fantastic and put me over the top. Thank You ... now if the theatre doors opened sooner next door.

It's certainly a charming environment and super sweet staff. The food is tasty but no healthy options at all, no vegan modifications possible. No vegetarian options at all.

The lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberries are the stuff of dreams! A delightful mix of sweet and savory in each bite!

We had a lovely night at Best Girl: casual and friendly service, very good food, everything was spot on from the salad to the dessert. The prices are absolutely fair for the overall quality and quantity. I highly recommend the portuguese fishermans stew and the creme brule'. I will certainly come back.

Nice space for lunch, and the DineLA menu was great. Service was only so-so... food took awhile to appear at lunch but it tasted great when it arrived.

The food was tasty. The slight ding on service may just be my own pet peeve. For me, great service would notice your drink needs a refill before you do.

Situated in a great location. Food was promising and good enough. The endive salad was great- a little sloppy on the blue cheese add but the flavors went well. Pasta was good but def more al dente side like a lot of people said (had the duck ragu and clams linguine). The portugese fish stew didn’t deliver like I thought it would- the sausage/mussels and whitefish tasted bland, lukewarm and “friendly enough” that they didn’t taste bad against each other; it’s like the friends you settle for in a party- you invited them- they arrived but then again wouldn’t have been disappointed if neither showed up.
Got sat in the middle of the room- pretty awkward for four, and that was with a lil heads up. The place wasn’t as packed as it can be so was a little disturbed. Food didn’t take long but what I wish they did more was do more eye contact checks. Some people don’t need to be checked in if they need anything- but longingly looking for service is pretty obv. Did that a handful of times and had to holler at server with assertive and squeaky “escoooose me”. The place isn’t bad- it was just okay. I plan to check out your happy hour oysters soon though!

Went DineLA lunch employees look so random like no uniforms and not same person during the visit. Our food took a longggg time to come out. We were given a 10% discount fir the wait. Endive salad was strange. Tonkotsu burger was thin with wilted thin shredded soggy slaw and looked small next to serving if fries. It came with ketchup, was expecting more exotic spread or aoli for dipping my fries. My stomach hurt that night, won’t go back! Ugh and bug man was there spraying the bar, which is where they sat us next to...when I noticed nicer tables were avail by the window.

Sorry that you didn't enjoy the items you selected. The Tonkatsu-style chicken sandwich has a yuzu koshu mayo already on the sandwich, the ketchup was for the French fries. Mediocre service; super al dente pasta; they ran out of what was probably the best starter so we had dull avocado toast substitute. My friend's chicken was tasty and a super sized portion. It was not so best, Girl! Also the menu was in a light courier font that I could barely read because it was so dark.

We really enjoyed lunch here. The ambiance has a funky vibe, and the menu is extensive!
Our experience was truly 2/5 stars. We chose to order off the DineLA menu. Our appetizer - which was a salad took so long to arrive, and was extremely salty. Our main dish took an hour and half since the time we ordered it to arrive at our table - we sat and ordered a little after 8pm and our food came out close to 9:30pm. We were given complimentary bread and butter and glasses of champagne, but it truly didn’t make up for the quality of the food. And after we got our dinner, I guess our server’s shift ended because we didn’t see her again and a new server came to take our dessert order - would have been nice to have been informed about this.
It was an extremely disappointing experience to have on my first visit to this restaurant, especially considering we were so excited to try this place out. We felt like our table was being neglected when we saw everyone else getting their food in a timely manner.
