Best Friend - Park MGM
Just what I was hoping for. Everything we had was a true taste bomb from the pickled cucumbers to the fried rice. Spicy bar be que pork was the best. Everything went well with a nice and dry Sake. Kimchi fried rice is must have. Honey did not want any part of the egg so I broke it on my half of the bowl, yum yum.
Had a great experience at Best Friend. They really hit the mark with the food and ambiance. I can’t say enough good things about the food though! So vibrant and delicious. My husband and I chose the Chef Menu B and just WOW! I highly recommend trying Best Friend to anyone wanting a great dining experience while in Vegas.
Love the Chef and his concept for the restaurant. The food was amazing and I would definitely recommend. The slippery shrimp got rave reviews but I enjoyed the prawn dish a lot better. Kimchi fried rice was amazing and no other complaints with the food. We went with a group for a birthday and I was disappointed to learn everyone at table has to get all you can eat if one person wants it. Our guest wanted to order individual meals and me and my bf wanted all you can eat. We basically guilted our guest into ordering the same all you can eat as us. There is a $50 choice and a $65 choice and whole table HAS to order the same, either 50 or 65. We would have spent $400 either way so it would have been nice to have a choice for each guest. Our server was great and worked with us on the menu but I feel like menu could have better options.
Phenomenal. Gabriel was a sensational server. Well done Choi, a knockout of a meal.
We had no idea what to expect and the menu was hard to figure out. I love the style of the Menu, but I wish there would have been photos. Three out of the 5 of us loved our meals. The only reason I didn’t rate them higher was the service. It was early and the place was not busy. Three people were served first and it took 15 mins for the next to come out. By the time the last meal came out the first people were done eating. There were no apologies or Explanations for the delay. I had even pointed out that we didn’t have all our meals. Nothing was said. The Manager kept walking by but never smiled or asked how things were. I’m assuming she was the manager, walking around in a red track suit? When we went to leave my daughter wanted a sweatshirt. The previous customer spilled an entire drink all over the floor in front of the register. The girl at the register knew we were trying to get helped and pay. She just let us maneuver around the puddle. It was like it never happened. There wasn’t one single worker in the place that had a smile. Other than that. Food was good. We loved the atmosphere and music. It’s a cool vibe
Poor quality food. Overpriced.
Great food! Fun ambience.
So much fun. Great service. Definitely will go back soon
Cool ambiance and delicious food! My husband and I came for his bday dinner and we loved it!
This place is fantastic!
The menu was not friendly to groups with different dietary needs. They had a big sign about a Monday all you can eat special at the front door but the server said they are not really doing that promotion any more. Server seemed liked he hates his job and dislikes having to talk to people. The whole experience was frustrating. The shrimp was great though.
The food here was top knotch. If you’re looking to try something delicious and different on the strip without a crazy price tag, I would definitely recommend Best Friend! We loved the Pork Belly Rice Bowl and the Spicy Pork (which comes as a large/shareable portion).
Wow - this place was awesome! We loved the food, the vibe and service - our server Korey was beyond! It's so amazing to be served by someone who was proud, excited and educated about the restaurant and the food. He truly knew their food and culture and was excellent in making suggestions. Because of him and the great suggestions, we were all thrilled with dinner and the energy there is so fun!
Fantastic dinner. The street corn was phenomenal and we also loved the Kogi bbq tacos and spicy pork entrees too. Ambience is super fun and we loved the servers’ retro outfits. Good drinks too. A fun place for dinner.
Food was great -- but service was a little off.
We ordered the tasting menu, but the food was not presented very well. The timing was off and server was a little unresponsive. We had to wave our server down a couple/few times when we needed some help. Overall -meh- service and would expect a little better.
Cost was a little high. We are willing to spend that much on an experience, but it needs to come with service, and food quality. In this case, all three were not there.
This place has amazing food and is a must when in town. We have done Menu A & B as well as an option where Best Friend chooses you entrees. Thank you Roy Choi and team it’s always a awesome experience dining at Best Friend.
Nice place, had the Jambi ribs and spicy pork, as well as sampler of banchan. Only the cucumbers were great...others not fresh...very disappointing
Service was good, meats were good and the overall rating is...3 and a half
Really helpful and friendly staff, food came out quickly and was delicious! Music choices are always on point with the DJ persons catering to your musical needs.
Food was amazing. Drinks were great. Great vibe and a great time for groups.
We did the sampler which was great. Way too much food though and pretty expensive.
Casual, fun, exciting place to eat. The food is good, with a curated selection of authentic Korean dishes, nicely-prepared kimchee, tasty fried chicken (yes, that’s Asian,) and an extensive choice of alcoholic beverages, served in a colorful space which never bores the eye. Definitely adds life to an already lively part of the Strip.
Roy Choi’s best friend is the best! This was our second time this week and Roy Choi himself was there. Awesome suggestions from the server! We were going to order the all you can eat and Christina suggested the chefs choice menu. I will never order anything else. EVERYTHING IS SO GOOD! If you have not been here you are missing out. My life would be complete if one of these were put in Nashville!
Not good at all. Don’t waster your time. The chicken was terrible and way to salty. Didn’t like the kimchi fried rice either. The tacos were not special. Totally upset I ate here. Will never go again.
Enjoyed the Las Vegas Roy Choi dining experience. The music/noise level was the usual Vegas decibel, and not in a good way.
Food was fun and delish, short rib tacos, dumplings, street corn and fried chicken were all spot on. and the sauvignon blanc by the glass was a highlight, chilled to perfection.
Food was decent. Very little accommodation for allergies. Server was there sporadically. But not the worst dining experience. On the fence about coming back
Great place for great food and atmosphere.
Absolutely fantastic. We sampled 8 or so different items from across the menu and each was a home run.
Very interesting and diverse menu. Our group definitely over-ordered because everything sounded so good. We wish the waiter had helped more in that realm to make key selections (lesson learned for us--start with a few dishes and then add more). The uni bowl, grilled shrimp, french fries, and tempura were all delish. Slippery shrimp might be a little too spicy for some. Underwhelmed by the chicken wings, duck, and banchan (thought there would be more creative spins on this). The space itself and vibe/energy really make this a standout. Definitely worth checking out!
Skip the steak houses, diners and drop in the bucket bougie offerings by self appointed celebrity chefs and instead go here.
Best friend offered a well curated culinary experience, paired with signature cocktails and a live dj rocking old school favourites.
We opted for one of the tasting menus, a series of shared plates recalling Choi's Korean roots and LA up bringing. Each dish was well thought out, unique yet familiar.
Make sure to try the Jameson and ginger, a slushy cocktail with a kick! We are anxiously awaiting our return visit.
Excellent food and service. Garlic chicken is a good portion & tasty! The tacos are a little spicy, but they are SO good!!
Went there before my concert, so wanted a small bite. Loved the eggplant filet, though I thought it pricey. Then again, it is the Strip. Mango dessert, was more like baby food, so will pass and try something else next time. This is my second time and do plan on returning. Thanks Diana for great service.
Food and servers were great but the music was loud. And because they play music with lyrics (hip hop, rap), we were pretty much reduced to lip reading at our table of seven.
This is a must in Vegas! The food was amazing. Had the dumplings, slippery shrimp, short rib tacos and kimchi fried rice. It was all on point but the kimchi rice was ridiculously good. Service was great. Overall the best part was the vibe...it oozes cool
Food was amazing and portions were generous. We got Chef's menu A to try a bit of everything. There were 2 of us but there was enough food for at least 3-4 people. Everything was phenomenal. The atmosphere and concept are great. I loved that they only played old school hip hop and that the servers uniform were Adidas track suits. I will eat there everytime I am in Vegas.
Server not overly helpful with food allergy
Went out on vacation the food was delish and my favorite thing was the tacos
Amazing and attentive waitress. Food was unbelievable. We got the price fixed meal with a bunch of items. The slippery shrimp was amazing!
Great spot! Fun atmosphere. Food was good and our server was very helpful with how much we should order for our group.
