If you want to spend a lot of money and get very little food this is your place. The food tastes great but portion sizes are extremely small. Left hungry.
Amazing experience. Excellent food, fun service and incredibly hip and fun vibe.
Sensational ambience. Terrific menu. I'll return as soon as possible, with my "best friend"!
One of my favorite places to eat. Would highly recommend it
Best place I have been to in a long time!
We had the cucumber and kimchi banchans, dumplings, kalbi, kimchi fried rice, Kogi tacos, and slippery shrimp. All were excellent, but our favorite were the tacos. We celebrated a birthday and they brought out a complimentary piece of raspberry cake. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Chef Roy Choi knocked it out of the park on the.Vegas Strip.
Great Korean food with a twist.
Very friendly staff.
Excellent DJ spinning.
Staff was amazing and super friendly. Food was delicious! Best Friend should be a must when in Town! Also, don’t skip dessert, you’ll regret it.
Interesting place. The garlic chicken was incredible. Some plates were good, but not great (dumplings, tacos). Portions were actually bigger than we’re used to getting, so the value was quite nice. Recommended.
Went to Best Friend as an option within Park MGM. Had the tempura, very good and the shrimp appetizer. Both were very good. Enter selections were somewhat disappointing. Ordered the Chili Spaghetti, it was okay and the portion would have fed four people so we wasted food. This was an okay place, priced at typical Vegas pricing (high). It wasn’t bad but wasn’t memorable good. Just so-so
The restaurant has a great vibe, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing throughly enjoyed.
Tinder "Corey" Situation was a rockstar! As was the rest of the service team! Food was on point! Amazing! The experience overall was EPIC! Highly recommend! 12 out of 10, easily!
Staff was amazing and the food was maximum flavor.
I’ve been to Best Friend four times now. I’ve yet to have a bad dish, let alone a bad meal. Every item I’ve had so far is an explosion of flavors I’ve never experienced in any other food. I keep trying to get through the menu, while going with my favorites as well. My must haves thus far are the wings, elote, and Shaking Beef. We haven’t even gotten to any BBQ or bowls yet. On top of all of this the value is tremendous for the strip. You will not be disappointed.
Birthday. Fun mix of party and casual without a ton of pretension. Reasonable prices for Vegas.
Roy Choi has done it again. Roy has mastered food trucks, pop up shops, and now a full on vegas celebrity chief restaurant! Best Friend takes the best of all of Roy’s experiences of LA’s Korea town lays them out before your very eyes with a street sophistication.
Service could have been a lot better, server forgot to input my wife's cocktail, which is fine, we understand mistakes happen, but server lied and said she forgot to pick it up from bar, when clearly was not true because she didn't go get it from bar, instead she helped other tables until the drink was MADE and a runner brought it...long story short, don't lie. Also if an entree is not brought out with the other person's meal, please let them know the status, like sorry the other entree is coming right up or it may take a few extra minutes, no problem. We waited for awhile until second entree came out. Food was great! The highlight was meeting the owner :) The place was nicely decorated and had the LA vibe and style to it including the music, overall, we would go back just not go out of our way to go back.
We were there celebrating two birthdays, and had an amazing time. The spicy octopus was amazing, and we had to order two of the dumplings because they were so delicious. Whatever is in that sauce is magical!! Only downside to the dinner was no acknowledgement of the birthday celebration, even though it was in our notes. But I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good food and a fun ambiance!
Delicious interesting food and excellent service in a very fun environment. Loved this spot and would go back in a heartbeat.
We left hungry =(
I always like the atmosphere. I don't mind the music but at times it seemed like it was turned up way too loud. I couldn't talk to people at my table. The Kimchi is usually really good but this time it was a little burnt. It wasn't very busy so I wouldn't have expected the food to be hurried. I will still return but I hope the things I experienced this time was just a singular experience. See you next time Best Friend!
Such a fun atmosphere with plenty of food choices. Service is exceptional!
Attentive staff that doubled checked the menu to give me options due to my food allergen. Kitchen staff was flexible to “create” a garlic free version of Soondobu for me.
We chose the chef’s selection banquet, and it was all of our food dreams come true! Lots of food, and every dish was divine and unique!
Nothing to brag about. Just ok.
The restaurant itself is pretty nice . The food was ok , depending on what you get. The short rib tacos are must buy the chili spaghetti is not worth its $33 price tag . Overall a casual dining experience that is a little over hyped for what it is . Not a must go to place but it’s ok .
I did not like walking through those red plastic sheets that they use at grocery stores to keep the freezers cold.
The table we sat in had those oversized swivel chairs. It was comfortable but heavy, it was hard to move them. The only way to get out was to turn the chair but because they are so big you had to be careful to not hit the person on either side of you.
The food was ok. I feel like you can get the same or better food at any other Korean restaurant in town for a lot cheaper price. The sea bass was good but not worth $75 price tag. It did come in a beautiful serving bowl. The uni fried rice was good and surprisingly filling for the serving size. The pork belly bowl was had too much flavor that didn’t compliment each other. Its like each part of the dish should have been served and eaten separately. The shrimp dish was too spicy and salty, and the shrimp were really small.
The service wasn’t special. It was just there. Better service at any other Korean/Asian restaurants in town.
Overall, it was disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends or family.
New favorite in Vegas! Great everything and very fun.
Came here for a bachelor party dinner. Probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Get the chicken wings. You’ll be thankful.
Awesome atmosphere, our server was great and really helpful. We loved the kimchi fried rice and dumplings most. The pot we got was great, but really big, so we ended up not finishing all of our food. Would definitely go there again!
Terrible restaurant, I will never go back.
The loud hip hop music made any conversation impossible. The constant flow of 4 letter words spoiled the evening. The food we ordered tasted good but came out of order so the entree came out first and appetizer-came out last. The server said the kitchen just send items out how they want. I am the customer and don’t like my preferences being ignored. . As a Vegas resident there are lots of other .... better places to eat at.
The eel dish was amazing. Really enjoyed the octopus!
Server Stacey was terrible. Though she was making effort, she made wrong moves throughout our meal. Without going into details, I can simply say I entered the restaurant excited and happy, but then I left annoyed and upset.
What made up for it though, food was great and the ambience was wonderful.
Great food. Service was lacking. Perhaps short staffed but we had long waits between visits from our server. Will give it another try next time we’re at Park MGM
Way too loud.
Great food though.
Perfect for hipsters who Instagram
This place is fantastic!! We had no idea what to expect going in...but left full and so happy with our choices. We drank Old Fashions (very good), and started our meal with dumplings, Korean wings followed by spicy pork and kimchi fried rice. Topped it off with great strawberry cheesecake. The service was super friendly and attentive...and a very cool atmosphere. Can not wait to return.
Fun atmosphere, great 90s music & Roy Choi’s signature bites
Check in staff friendly, cool waiting area, food was excellent! Everything we had was flavorful and delicious. Not cheap or affordable by any means but worth the splurge.
My wife and I went to Best friend to celebrate our birthdays. We’ve been fans of Roy Choi for years and we were very excited to try Best Friend. The menu features items from several of his restaurants in LA and everything we tried was delicious. My only complaint was the price... yes, it’s Vegas and we expected to pay a premium. However paying $4 for each bonchon was against principle of Korean dining. Other than that, we had an awesome experience. The service was on point, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fun and lively. We’re excited to return so we can try everything we missed this trip
