To best accommodate party sizes of 8 to 12 guests, we provide a family style menu at $65 per person(Mon-Thurs.) or $85 per person(Fri.-Sun.) Beverages are extra charge upon consumption. The menu is a selection of farmer's market driven, generous & abundant, seasonal dishes! Sitting next to two tables of people who valued our experience eating at Best Bet was a treat. Excellent service and amazing food makes it easy for us to make suggestions... because it's backed by the restaurant staff. The very first server we had when they opened, stopped by to say hi and helped our server when they got slammed with the early rush, and teamwork is clearly a thing for the service staff- to 'Michael from Chicago' (dude is awesome!), the owners clearly have a vision when it comes to hiring great front of the house staff. The food is the star feature despite the excellent service. It didn't disappoint tonight! We do miss the summery desserts, but the menu is seasonally appropriate and delicious! We will be back!

Nothing worked here was seated first then the next two people were put at a table close by then the next was right next to our table… the restaurant was empty except for the 3 tables next to each other. Food was a mess, steak was cool not even warm . The pizza was not cooked through. The waiter had difficulty cutting the wet mess. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough…..

The food was good but not for the price. Couple apps, pizza and 2 drinks ran $170. Ended up being around $85 per person. For that price, I'd expect to be much more mind blown by the food I eat. It's good, go get the same thing for much cheaper.

Interesting spot. We loved the food and the service was excellent. We had the tuna tartare, the skirt steak, arugula salad, cacio e pepe, Italian Stallion pizza with the hot honey sauce. everything was delicious. Will be back!

Ambience was good and so was Service, but the food was frankly disappointing. The pastas were decent, but given that this was technically a pizza place we were very disappointed in the pizza. It came looking really pretty with nice wood fired look, but we were given a pair of special scissors to cut it, and it was a messy and difficult process because the entire middle was soggy so it didn’t really taste like pizza when we finally got our plates. Also tried the fried pizza / which was rubbery dough. Then we shared about 11 dishes for three people so a cross-section of options. Brussels sprouts were also disappointing - overall we had high expectation / but very pricey for what we ate - and $15 valet was also a bit much given the lot is right on the premises - would not go back.

our waiter poured two of us each glasses of wine. mine as clearly a short pour. when it was pointed out the waiter argued a lame excuse about the glasses being different. they clearly were not. we’ve owned a restaurant in Nova Scotia for 20 years and have learned enough to know that the correct response for the waiter is to bring the bottle back to the table, and add an ounce or two to the glass. as it is ill not be inclined to go back there again

While the food is good, the prices are high in many instances. Pizzas are relatively small and at $25 or so each are expensive. The wine list is limited, and the corkage of $35 for the first bottle, and ++ for a second is up there with excellent restaurants that have a proper wine service with good stemware. However the wine service here is an after thought. The $15 parking fee to valet is high. The 4% charge for healthcare for employees is something that I am at a loss to explain. Employee healthcare should be the responsibility of the restaurant, not the customer. Restaurants that do not incorporate it into their menu prices are not really being transparent. It is in essence a stealth price increase on menu prices yet is just added on to the bill at the bottom. You can opt out I guess but why would any restaurant put their customers in the position of having to ask a restaurant at the end of the meal to do that?? Trendy restaurant......will it have staying power??? One and done.

We love the sommelier who always gives the “best” recommendations. The pizza is inventive and fantastic. All the dishes are perfect and delicious. Will be dining here often.

I was really excited about going here. The weight staff was great. Our outdoor seating was terrific. I didn’t really care for the food in general though. It was just a little too experimental for me. I think the restaurant would do well with going back to the basics a bit. That’s my two cents.

This was our second time visiting the restaurant. last time we sat outside, and this time we sat inside. The service was excellent and the waitress was very attentive. The food was generally good but the menu had changed since the last time we were here and some of the dishes missed the mark. One of the pizzas we ordered again was excellent but one of the other dishes, a calzone type item was very soupy and bland. The desert was very good. Overall I didn’t leave feeling great about the experience.

We went here after a lot of glowing reviews - it must have been an off night or perhaps we didn't order correctly but really bad. The garlic knot was pretty dry, seemed overcooked, and crumbled when you cut into it. Sort of like sawdusty. Same as our carbonara sicilian pizza, very dried out dough, crumbly, a mound of cheese with a raw, and I mean raw egg on top. The bread like disintegrated. I know carbonara has egg but even the white part was raw. I think maybe 2-4 bits of meat on it. Very over priced for what it is. Martini was delicious but came after we finished our appetizers. First negative review I've ever written. Was supposed to be a cute anniversary dinner and it was hardly edible. Womp womp.

We were a party of 4, all the sides that we ordered for table were excellent!! The Milanese chicken really stood out. Now as for the 3 different pizzas that were ordered, very poor considering the restaurant is called Best Bet Pizzeria, one pie want cooked they way we asked , the other two were nothing like the pizza you get in Italy, way to pretentious and felt like they were trying to hard instead of making a traditional pizza. I would go to say that Rossoblu, Eatalia, or even Little Coyotes pizza were more traditional. The service was a little slack, took almost 35 to get my glass of wine.

Poor because both my date and myself experienced some serious GI distress a few hours after dining there. Not sure what we ate - maybe the salad - but it def had some kind of contamination.

The food was great and the staff were attentive. The music was too loud, it was hard to hear the person who I was eating dinner with. Parking can be a challenge.

Lovely A-frame space, very tasty. Standouts were the meatball pizza, arugula salad, the peppers and sausages over polenta, and the stracciatella dessert. They forgot our pasta but made it up with that delicious dessert. Also, I will say, we did the pre-fixed menu as a larger group, and the waitress was confused on the ordering process. We ordered and then she selected the amount of each dish — it was way too much food. I didn’t mind the leftovers but my whole group was groaning after we kept seeing more food coming out.

The mushroom pizza is not good. Everything else was good tho. Recommend the garlic dipping sauce, it’s the only thing that saved the meal.

We really wanted to like Best Bet. The idea of creative, casual Italian in a former IHOP seemed right up our alley. But halfway through we were dying to leave. While the inside space is atmospheric we were seated outside, which had zero charm. My advice would be to insist on an inside table or skip it. I ordered a “white lotus” focaccia pizza which - based on the ingredients and server’s description - sounded great. But it is basically a mound of dough with a massive amount of grated cheese on top. Yuck. We were also told more than once that there were no deletions or substitutions allowed. While I have some respect for this, virtually everything on the menu has at least one quirky ingredient that would be reasonable for some diners to exclude.

This is the second time we have been here and both times the service was poor. We had to wait 15 minutes for a reserve table when there were many tables available. We had a waitress who had probably never done waitressing before. we did not get our second pizza and she brought the dessert menu before we told her we had never gotten our second pizza , and then we waited another 20 minutes to get it. She had never put that order in. You have a tremendous number of staff and not many of them know what they’re doing. for the amount of money and the quality of the food I would expect better.

They sat me next to the Kitchen door and had all service and food delivery come thru that door. Every bus boy and waiter came thru that door plus having it exposed to the outside, thereIt was not a pleasant spot. Otherwise the night was okay! It’s not a table that should be used for dinning.

The pizza here has great flavor but is so so soggy all the toppings fell off when I picked up a slice - I would NOT return for pizza. However, the rest of the food is excellent and the cocktails are lovely.

Best Bet is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. 1 - I recommend a reservation, but you might not need one. Reservation was easy to get on Open Table, it's not one of those places where you need to get lucky to score a rez. 2 - The service was really great, impressive. 3 - Full bar -- always a plus. 4 - Reviews are tough on only one visit -- we only tried four things: The garlic knot (which is one big knot), the roasted stone fruit, the rabbit confit and a wood fire pizza. All were really good. 5 - The staff recommended the meatballs - so there. 6 - Just to be fair to everyone, this is a welcome addition to the neighborhood but it isn't a typical neighborhood pizza spot. Dinner for two (the appetizer, the rabbit, the pizza, one cocktail and one beer) ran like 130-something before tip. Worth it, well worth it.

Everything sounded delicious but ultimately only ok. The noise level is off the hook making it impossible to enjoy the experience. Our server was delightful and very knowledgeable - the manager charming. We were expecting 'WOW' and ended up feeling annoyed. Park on the street - $15 + tip is unnecessary. We were surprised that the restaurant wasn't ever full - odd for a Saturday night given all the earlier buzz. I think repeat business is the problem plus word of mouth. Every restaurant that has occupied that space has failed. If nothing can be done about the acoustics, best to not make that your home.

It was fine, the description of the food was amazing and then the actual food just wasn't satiating. We didn't get drinks and still managed to spend $150 for 2 people. Not a bad place for groups, just not in a hurry to go back.

We sat outside. Service was terrific all around. Everyone was attentive. Food was good, but a bit expensive for pizza's, drinks and aps. Parking was expensive.
