   BESA Detroit truly impressed us with their authentic Albanian cuisine. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional, and the staff's knowledge of the menu only enhanced our dining experience. We were delighted to see a wide variety of Albanian dishes on the menu, and the lamb dishes were especially outstanding. Overall, we highly recommend BESA Detroit and can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal.

   Horrible steak - had no flavor. Just tasted like raw meat. The service was also horrible. Our waitress never came by to even ask how the food was and if we needed anything. Then we had to ask another worker for our bill since she was MIA.

   Everything we ate was wonderfully prepared. The homemade focaccia was crispy on the outside and melt-in-the-mouth tender in the middle with a wonderful light garlic taste. The kale salad was dressed perfectly -- tasty, but not over-powering and not drenching in dressing. Scallops and sole were both perfectly cooked. The green beans were the only dish that I would not rate highly. And our server was wonderful.

   Throughly enjoyed every aspect of restaurant. If I could change one thing it would be the bathrooms - they are shared men / women which means two toilets for entire restaurant.

    This was my first visit to Besa, and it certainly will not be the last. The decor and ambiance were modern. Our waiter, Christian was one of the highlights of the evening. He was extremely attentive, knowledge, and courteous. The appetizer of sear cheese with the focaccia bread was next level. I followed that up with the kale salad. Simple, fresh ingredients very well executed. For the main course it was filet, cooked perfectly medium rare and the crust on it, fantastic. Closed out dinner with their chocolate fudge tart which was also fantastic. Both bourbon cocktails I had were among the best I've had in quite awhile. Overall, would highly recommend.

    It was an enjoyable experience overall. My guest liked her food more than I liked mine, but mine was half really good and half just ok for my tastes. I'd go back regardless.

    Dined alone. Had to ask for silverware, more water. Would have ordered wine/dessert, but wasn’t asked. sauce on my pasta was cold. Service lacking. Dined with a group at Besa 2 years ago and it was great. Disappointed this go around.

    This was our first time here to celebrate my fiancés birthday. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful! It’s bright and inviting and the lighting in the evening is romantic. We had made reservations a few days prior to arrival and when we arrived, we were seated immediately to our table. The waitress was super sweet and very polite. She offered to go over anything we had questions about pertaining the the drink and food menu. The starter bread is OUTSTANDING! Crunchy on top and pillow soft in the middle. Best focaccia bread I’ve ever had! It also comes with olive oil with a balsamic vinaigrette drizzle in the center of the plate. We both ordered the filet mignon and it was like slicing butter! Best cut of meat I have ever had! The temperature of the food was on point, and the service was amazing. Not once did they interrupt us during our meal! That right there is amazing! Two of the management members were always making sure things were running smoothly throughout our visit. The cheesecake dessert was unreal! It had the crispiest bottom and the fluffiest base. The flavor was similar to a cream cheese pumpkin cheesecake, but more of a 15/10 rating. Best dessert I’ve ever tasted! Thanks for a great experience!

    First time visiting after many recommendations. Staff were very friendly, Ava was wonderful- knowledgeable, friendly, and checked in just enough! Food was excellent but the dessert was especially delicious! Trelice cake - highly recommend! Thank you Besa! We will return.

    Overall everything was very good. Only downfall was one of the drinks was very tiny, and the steak was very charred on one side, as it was left on the grill for too long.

    I’m upset we just found BESA. Rare restaurant if such incredible quality. Everything we had was exceptional. Service easy going, professional but not all over us. Management and owner asked a couple times if we were happy. 12 outta 10

    Our server, Danielle (I hope I remembered it right) was very accommodating, professional, and friendly. The chef and kitchen staff did an outstanding job on making the food delicious and perfectly cooked. It was a busy Monday night, so glad we had reservations. I have celiac disease and there were many options and they they made modifications that were great.
