We had booked a large group reservation over a week in advance and called to confirm 2 days before. When we arrived the waitstaff and managers started arguing with each other, in front of us, because they were not prepared for our table of 14. Managers were yelling at the wait staff. The managers would not speak to us and sent waitstaff over to deliver the messages that they were “slammed” with tables but would seat us as soon as possible. Waitstaff openly said to us “we were not told about your reservation.” We did get seated and managers still avoided us and left staff to handle the large group. Waitstaff was so friendly and nice, but not equipped for the large table. Entrees were coming at one end of the table while drink orders not taken yet at the other end. Food came late, missing dish came late and was ice cold. Two shrimp pasta dishes were brought and the waitress said, “these dishes have fish, I don’t know what they are I hate fish, do you know who ordered this?” No manager check in on the large table or if things were going well. Overall felt like they didn’t care and wanted us gone. This used to be my favorite restaurant when visiting Boston as a child. Will never ever go back.

We asked to be seated where it would be less noisy and were seated in the most noisy spot. Waiter seemed overwhelmed and disappeared for long periods of time.

The noise and atmosphere were different in different parts of the restaurant. Our seating was PERFECT for our party. The manager or host did a great job.

We had such a great experience. First of all, we were celebrating my daughter getting her doctorate degree at Northeastern U. She came to the restaurant in her doctoral regalia-cap and gown. When we walked in, the staff all started clapping, and it resulted in the entire restaurant clapping for her and congratulating her. We had a 2 year old with us, and they blessedly sat us in the back are of the restaurant where there was room for the child to roam a little bit without disturbing us or the other patrons. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was so wonderful and celebratory. I wish I could remember our server's name. We would highly recommend this location and plan to go again next time I'm visiting my daughter and her family.

Server was slow and confused. We kept having to remind her that we were waiting on cutlery or where was our ordered drink. Bread rolls were great -great memories (we would go often to the Bertucci in Needham). Pizza was also solid as were both pasta dishes.

We had a fairly large group of 8 people and service was good with everything coming out together and cooked right. Enjoyed pizza, ravioli, alfredo, and mac&cheese. We’ll go again.
