   Even though the venue was not busy the ambience was excellent the service was very attentive and the jazz duo were fantastic, the food was superb it was my wife’s first visit and we cannot wait to come again

   Bert's needs to up their service. Waited over 20 minutes for our dessert order to be taken and in the end walked out without it be taken. Spoiled what should have been a great experience.

   Excellent food, friendly and knowledgeable staff - and live music too! We had the £95 deal, which gave us three first-class courses for two and included a bottle of house wine. Highly recommended.

   My friends and I had a wonderful time. Staff are very good. The only problem was Rose DivX decided not to show. I get it. It was a Tuesday night and it was after a bank holiday although even if one table of people show up, Rose should have too. I didn't like the 3 girls who were poorly dressed in hang around the house clothes and stayed on their cellphones. This goes against the clothing policy that my friends and I were more than happy to oblige. Bert's Jazz musicians excellent especially the Polish guitarist. Superb. I love jazz and had hoped to be a part of a magical night. We made it a magical night anyway thanks to the fantastic staff and the guitarist. I loved my 75th birthday party because I dreamed it up in Toronto. Thanks for the wonderful evening.

   Not or first visit and won't be our last. Took our friends for the first time and we were not disappointed. The 3 course meal deal with a bottle of wine is a great deal to be had. Small menu choice but always something nice to pick. Music was amazing too. Would recommend this to anyone.

   Hi , we were excited to be going back to Bert's . Started off as a great night , wait staff etc were fantastic . My wife and I had the soup , which was superb for starters then I had the rib eye as a main . Unfortunately it was one of the most chewy steaks I have ever had . Very disappointed we left .

    Absolutely superb meal in Bert's on Saturday evening. The staff were so friendly and professional. The ambience was perfect. And the food was the best we've had in a restaurant in Belfast in a while. Would certainly be back.

    We were totally blown away by how cool this place is - the staff are 11 out of 10 as is the food. The music was the ‘icing on the cake’ - the only downside is we dont live in Belfast, so its going to be a while before we can visit again

    It was our first time here and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was exceptionally good and we enjoyed the guy on the piano. Such a fantastic first night in Belfast and was worth every penny we spend. Would definitely recommend it to all. The only suggestion would be to advertise on the website the timings of the band as we arrived a full hour before the band begun and could only saty for an hour to enjoy the band.

    The service is what made our dinner exceptional, the serving staff were simply so engaging. The music was a bit loud, my wife compared it to having dinner in a night club, finding ourselves having to shout across the table at times. Would we go back, yes.

    My husband and I had a brilliant time at Berts last night! It's a great, intimate setup, with brilliant music, really lovely staff and really delicious food! It's a bit more overpriced than where we would usually go but it was a real treat and a new way to make date night special. Would recommend going here if you're looking for a new dining experience for date nights or some fun with friends enjoying good, live music, rather than playlist music being played over the speakers.

    Bert's Jazz Bar is a fantastic spot to enjoy a meal in a cozy atmosphere with some jazz music in the background. Additionally, the atmosphere was cozy and intimate, with soft lighting, warm décor, and a beautiful jazz soundtrack that set the mood perfectly. What really stood out to me, however, was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in.     I ordered moules frites. The moules were the most anaemic I have ever experienced although the broth was tasty and the chips were good. My wife's minute steak she pronounced no more than OK and not hot enough. Service was variable - a long wait for a second glass of wine. According to the website there should have been live jazz at Sunday brunch but there was none. Very noisy. We had always wanted to go to Bert's for Sunday brunch, but this was a real disappointment.

    A lovely night out to celebrate my husbands birthday. We were seated in a booth and it was perfect. Food was amazing and good value. The quartet that was playing was great and very easy to listen to. Great night out for couples!

    First time visiting and apart from the exceptional food, what stood out was the high level of customer service from the staff! They were helpful, friendly and were so accommodating in continuously filling up our drinks and allowing us to extend the length of time at our table. I will definitely be back.
