   My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the backyard patio and the ambiance created. We shared two appetizers, the Messy Avo Wedges and the chilli and smoked sea salted edamame. Both were completely delicious! I ordered the Arctic char with bok choy and my husband ordered the seafood dish. Outstanding! We will definitely be back - hopefully with a group!

   Enjoyed the patio, the sangria and the cuisine. Great to support local versus a large restaurant chain. Only negative is that the waiter seemed very grumpy so we were afraid to ask him for anything needed. Will try it again though.

   Mother’s Day brunch. The mimosas didn’t taste like mimosas. They were made with sparkling wine instead of champagne, the orange juice was incredibly overpowering the other flavours that were supposed to be in there; I believe it was strawberry? It was really sour but the food was fantastic! Hats off to the chef!

   Wasn't very impressed with the Mothers Day experience. Arrived 5 mins before our reservation and was rudely told to wait outside because they weren't ready yet. Then when we were sat at our table we were told they have a full house today so to make we stay on schedule. (As if we have control over their service?). The price was a preset 25$ Mothers Day menu when it was really just their regular menu items plus 4 free pastries so they charged more for it. No drinks included. The food was good but not for the price.

   It was lovely, service impeccable! We wish we had known it was a set menu, I may have missed it on the website, I did call in to ask a question however was not informed on that call. Visually the food was amazing, we did find it was very peppery (not even sure if that's a word, lol) The pepper was a lil too much for us.

    Birthday Food at Berry Hill is always very good. Service excellent. However, limited choice of wine. But that does not stop us from returning very often. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    This is a little Oshawa gem. The food is delicious! Best eggs Benne ever! Just felt a bit rushed up to receiving our meal. But thank you all the same.

    It was wonderful to get out for Good Friday brunch with our family, especially at our favourite restaurant in town! The quality of the food was perfect as usual, and the service was kind and on the ball. The servers added to our time there with light humour and responsiveness. So great!

    Went for Brunch and the food was amazing! Mimosas made with freshly squeezed OJ and perfectly cooked bacon and eggs as well as the best biscuit I have ever had. I have been before for lunch which is also delicious. Great staff were providing excellent service and the restaurant is bright, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend a meal here.

    Went to celebrate two 85 year old's birthdays on Saturday at 1 PM and didn't realize it was only a brunch menu on the weekend. Well we were so very pleasantly surprised by the meals - absolutely delicious and wonderful presentation on the plate - made brunch feel like an outing worthy of a birthday celebration. The coffee was also very good! Will go back if in the area again.

    The waitress was very nice, but we felt the food was not up to par, especially considering the price point. To start, we had the mussels with butter and beer, but when it came, it was like there was no seasoning at all. My partner had the OG burger, and he said it was just ok, but kind of tasteless as they didn't add any seasoning to the beef. I had the skirt steak, which was cooked perfectly, but the seasoning was way too salty and the potatoes with celery were very tasteless. Also, it should be noted that when you enter, there is a huge step and no ramp, so people with accessibility issues may have difficulties with this. There was zero ambience to the place as well- maybe the bar area was slightly nicer. Overall, this really was not what we were expecting, so would probably not recommend/return.

    Had brunch with friends, food was overpriced in my opinion. $80 for two people for brunch with tip seems like a bit much to me personally. The potatoes were undercooked and the fruit that comes with the Eggs Benedict comes in a 1”X1” container and contains slivers of fruit. Service was nothing special, won’t be back.

    My wife had been to Berry Hill before so when her birthday came around she requested that we go together. It was my first time and I'm glad to say it was an amazing and relaxing experience. It was a Sunday afternoon just after 12pm. The place was lively which is great but we preferred not to yell over each other. Thankfully we were seated at the booths on the other side of a large wall. It was perfect. Our servers were outstanding. They were attentive, observant and social. They suggested we try and share the banana french toast paired with the Eggs Benedict w/peameal bacon. Great suggestions. The venue was clean, organized and great ambience. One minor knock would be it's along a 1 way street with limited parking in downtown Oshawa. I'm not sure how it would be on a busy Friday or Saturday night. Still if you're looking for that "city" feel this place is it. We will definitely visit again soon

    An absolute delight! The family day Sunday brunch we engulfed was delicious. The choice of mimosa flavours (orange, strawberry, blood orange), the fantastic eggs benny (salmon or peameal), and the yummy cookie & cheesecake desserts all disappeared faster than Houdini & Copperfield could have done it! A little pricey for the area, but the extra spend is well worth it. Charming decor and friendly service. Highly recommend!
