We loved the look of the restaurant and the outsides bonfire. I was a little worried when we came to the hostess both and found a customer complaining about his wait on his children’s food. We waited about 5 minutes past our reservation time for our table. Our service was flawless! The baked ricotta with bursted figs could be a starter or a dessert! Our entrees were delicious . I would have to say that the things listed with my entree( NY strip) where merely a garnish. I also had the roasted beets as a side. If I hadn’t already ordered that I might have wanted a salad.

Food portions tiny. My plate looked bare. Pictures online look nothing like what we were served. I received "one" tiny turnip for my side dish....."ONE" (basically no vegetables for a side) II ordered 8oz filet mignon clearly was less than 6oz, and my cocktail was made incorrectly. Used gin for my martini when I specifically asked for a specific brand of vodka. Waitress never checked on the table. Very expensive for quality of food, and service and portions do not meet expectations for the money being charged. Waitress was pleasant, and ambiance was very nice but left disappointed and still feeling hungry. Don't waste your money. It was too expensive for what you received in return.

Service was impeccable ! Food was salty. We ordered the NY strip steak (14oz) and it looked like a 10oz and it was salty! The rosemary risotto was delicious!!! Overall good experience!

Menu was changed from online posting. No chicken parmesan? Temperature of room was way too cold. Table service was extremely intermittent, mostly unavailable. Food was good but experience put this place in do not return list. Was here 3 years ago and it was great. Nothing about tonight's visit warrants a future return.

For starters our reservation for 5:15pm. We ordered drinks immediately and had to wait 37 mins just for 6 drinks (easy to make). The food came approximately an hour and 30 mins later, and the food was very inconsistent. One Mac and cheese was cheesy, the other was dry. We ordered three steaks & each steak was different again. I ordered medium well and mine came back well done. The only pleasant experience we had was our waitress and the manager Jim who took care of us at the end. On top of that, when we had complained about the food and the drinks we kept receiving looks from the staff members (staring). We weren’t looking for any compensation we just simply wanted to inform the restaurant manager what was going on. It doesn’t matter if the check was 1,000 or 500.00 we would have paid but when it comes to food it’s about quality since we pay for what we get. Unfortunately, this was my second experience here and the first experience was very good. Not sure what happened but wish it was like the first time 4 yrs ago.

If your visiting the Camelback resort definitely have a meal at this restaurant. We ate upstairs and it was such a beautiful space. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive to our party of 8. Drinks and food came out quick. The food was delicious, I had the scallops which were so good. Hubby had the Halibut, he said the fish was great but the side didn't pair very well with it. Overall, we had a great experience here and would highly reccommend it.

Heidi was the best server. She was super nice to the kids and was super attentive. Eating there with kids was super easy.

We had a pleasant time and would go back, but with the knowledge what to order and what not. The staff was pleasant, though service was quite slow. We orderd the tomahawk chop ($125) for two. This was a a splurge not only because of the price, but also becuase we seldom order red meat. It was woefully undercooked. Nearly raw. Nor was it carved properly. There is a particular way to carve such a premier steak. You don't just slice it up like a london broil and serve it. Made me a little sad. For the price and a restaurant that has "chophouse, in its name, I expected more. BUT, we did have an enjoyable evening out, which is what we'll take away. All the other items we ordered (there were four of us) were quite delicious.

This is a great Italian restaurant, best alternative closest to the Camelback resort, neck and neck with the Barley Creek restaurant (which we could not get a reservation for during Labor Day weekend 2024). The food was very good: filet mignon butterflied well down was the night’s highlight (get ready to pay +$50) with the side of asparagus, the fried calamari appetizer was almost a full meal not too crispy with a nice aioli sauce on top and green mini peppers (better to split with at least one other person, priced in the high teens $$), the flat bread with prosciutto appetizer was delicious (also two big flat breads appropriate for two or more people, also priced in the high teens $$), kids spaghetti with butter was very good (my daughter almost finished it, she is a picky eater), and the shrimp rissotto was very good too (my wife liked it very much, priced in the mid to high twenties $$). Come with tons of time to spare as the food is made fresh and it takes a while, which is compensated by the beautiful rustic decor with hanging white lights all around almost fit for an engagement party or a civil ceremony wedding indoors and outdoors, with nice background music not too loud, perfectly appropriate for dinner. The lemon vanilla crème brulle was the sweet finisher, also a big portion we split amongst wife, husband and two kids. We skip the wine glass starting at $11 per glass or $44 per bottle. We would recommend this restaurant to friends and family. It is minutes driving distance from Camelback and you can reserve through the OpenTable App or calling the restaurant directly. The waitress was super friendly, social and talkative, just enough to make us feel welcomed, comfortable and to enjoy the experience. This is a four stars restaurant for us.

The food was not great. Coming from nyc born and raised in queens now living in Long Island, I know good food. I didnt expect much but it was below average.
