Great service for a pre-theatre dinner, despite the place being almost full. Bulgogi tacos were delicious. Nice selection of apps and wine/beer on happy hour menu. Cheesy corn was tasty but needs more Cheetos.
Very pleasant expirence. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and the staff was very friendly.
Great Korean fusion, fun spot to hang out on a date or with friends. Service was fast too!
Delicious! Service was a little slow, but the food was amazing. Generous portions!
This was my second visit and we were all pretty unimpressed with the food. KFC Caesar Salad has almost no chicken (and way too many croutons) and is pretty boring, the bulgogi tacos were ok but the meat is not great quality and there wasn't much to them. Drinks were so-so. With so many great food options in the neighborhood we probably won't return.
Food portion s were great and tasty even for restaurant week special deal... We were able to choose from 3 groups of items for both the $25 and $35 fixed price menu. I don't like spicy, my husband does and both our choices were very very tasty. Interesting and good cocktails and beer selection. Very courteous waiters. Never felt rushed
Amazing experience from the time we arrived. All of the staff was incredibly attentive. The food and drinks were amazing. Highly recommend for a nicer lunch spot.
Food is great, but service super spotty. An appetizer we ordered never arrived and the server ran away too fast for us to even ask about it.
We ordered and it took about 35 minutes to get our food and there was only two other parties in the whole place and they had already eaten and were just finishing up.
I finally had to ask where is our food and it came out 10 minutes later.
The environment was comfortable and welcoming. We enjoyed the food, particularly the Dino foot appetizer.
BSC is best for breakfast. Dinner was a disappointment.
Loved the burgers
The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.
A wide variety of Excellent Korean food. Good service and fun ambiance. Love it!
Good food, energetic vibe. Service was pretty slow, and it was pretty loud. My fourth time there; lots of interesting menu choices and fun vibe makes it a solid choice, even if it is not always the most amazing service experience.
the food was excellent. the service was a little slow - perhaps because they were understaffed. and at 5pm in the evening the place was so dark we couldn't see our food.
Dining with a large party before a performance on UC Berkeley campus, our waiter helped us get our food quickly and out in time to make it to the show. We had a great time and would have stayed longer given the chance. Fried chicken was great, dolsolot was good. Some of our group had salads and they looked good as well. Would go again and try other Korean food.
Good options nice crossover btw asian dishes and western palate. Nice looking place good layout great service
Love this place!
Quite pricy for what you get. For $16 a dish, I did not expect to see so much white rice on the plate. There are many other places that serve similar food for much cheaper. While the food was good, I felt like we were paying for the decor, hype, and ambiance as opposed to quality of food.
The Dino app was very tasty. KFC fine but not amazing. Dolsot was not dolsot at all. The rice wasn’t crispy at all. It felt like they were just using the stone platter for presentation, not for cooking.
My main issue was the food arrived out of order-
Some appetizers came after we were almost finished our entrees and my husband’s meal came out 10 minutes after the rest of us were served. Overall the food was very good - it’s noisy though
I got very sick the next day. No one else in our party got sick but no one ate the same thing. It was great atmosphere. Make a reservation it goes faster.
We enjoyed all our dishes. Like the variety and the relaxed atmosphere. Restaurant does get noisy and so it is better to get there on the earlier side.
This is definitely a place more suited to a younger crowd. Weird mix of huge TVs and bistro ambience. Kind of loud. Was not particularly psyched in the food (the beef ball is a tiny amount of beef and like 8 eggs). But I could see how other people would like it a lot. I hear the brunch is great, so maybe I’ll try that.
It's a super nice Korean-western-eastern fusion restaurant! The menu is creative. The food is aesthetic and insta-worthy. The atmosphere is also very pleasurable and welcoming. Definitely recommend!
My wife is a vegetarian and her choices seemed to be somewhat limited to seafood options, however, any item on the menu had a tofu option--just ask. One member of our party chose the salad, and two of us chose the bulgogi bowls. Plenty of food and served in bowls that remained notably hot for the entire meal. This was our first time at the restaurant, but we will definitely return. Evidently, we were lucky enough to catch the Happy Hour from 5 to 6 and ordered one of their appetizer samplers. The sampler had enough variety to satisfy our party of four.
Dinner was great. Was a little disappointed that I indicated we were celebrating a birthday; hostess acknowledged this when we checked in; and then nothing happened.
Servers nice, fun spot
Really great place to eat - food was delicious. Service was quick and efficient - we all had a great time here
Food was a little cold, which for the dishes chosen, was particularly annoying.
I have had better experiences there in the past.
It was a Thursday night and kind of empty.
Tables were small and food was okay.
I like BSC for its easy to set up reservations for large groups. The food is really good and even the picky eaters find something delicious.
Disappointing food given the high reviews from others. The Korean Fried Chicken in the KFC with Waffles was just fried chicken without any of the spiciness or Korean sauce that we had expected to add complexity to this brunch standard. The Brussels Hash in a cast iron dish was mushy and the Millionaire’s Bacon was too sweet. Both dishes could have spent more time in the oven to caramelize the sugars and bring some much needed crispiness. Would not order the Millionaire’s Bacon again - not worth the premium price for just two slices.
Loved the red bean green tea bingsu (Korean shaved ice).
We enjoyed eating here, group of 9 -3 adults, 6 kids. Happy hour appetizers worth it. Korean, but really a mix different cuisine of Asian fusion. Dessert, shaved ice, was yummy, we were able to share it for all of us. Our waiter was super.
Food and service was perfect
Very enjoyable evening. As always, the services was very good.
Graduation dinner for our daughter. Wonderful, eclectic food experience
The food was delicious! Very much what I expected. The staff was nice and attentive but they were a little difficult to understand because of their accent. The atmosphere was very comfortable. I’d definitely come back!
