an intimate 48-seat neighborhood restaurant in royal oak, michigan. we strive to be thoughtful about the food we plate, atmosphere we create, & energy we spread.

our goal at beppé is simple: to be intentional about the food & drink we serve, while fostering a welcoming environment.

whether you love beppé for our house-made pasta, to share with those you love plates, summer patio, thoughtfully curated cocktails, or a quality bottle of wine, we're here to be your spot & can't wait for you to keep coming back.

as a smaller establishment, we feel obligated to accommodate and serve all customers who want to dine with us in a timely manner. with that said, we do have policies limiting length of reservations. groups of 2-3 are allowed 90 minutes. groups 4+ are allowed 120 minutes. we ask that this policy is taken into consideration before choosing to dine with us.

bar seating is first come first serve.

we do not offer separate checks for groups of 5+.

Dining outdoors at Beppe was a pleasure! The waitress was attentive as was the busboy -- he had his eyes on every table to see what was needed! The menu is unusual and varied. We all shared a bean side dish that was pleasing and one of us had a hamburger that was unusually good. The french fries were very good, though a bit salty. The bronzino was yummy and unusually presented. All in all, a successful evening...

The service is always great but the food misses almost every time. The price does not match up with the quality of food or the creation and execution of the dishes. For example, having a crudo on the menu and smothering it in caesar dressing with chopped up pickles is not the elevated cooking I expect with this price level.

The food was so fresh and the service was phenomenal! We sat on the patio and it was a perfect evening for that Can’t say anything about inside decor as we didn’t sit there We had a poor experience on Friday night at another restaurant so we doubly appreciated the exceptional and friendly service as well as the satisfying, thoughtfully presented and delicious food at Beppe! Thank you Megan for the superb service!

Birger and fries were awesome. Duck was very good, grilled vegetables great & beans with it were so so. Another standard salad option would be great.

Excellent sourdough bread and whipped butter to start. Fantastic salads! I got the kale Caesar and my husband got the fennel salad. My sirloin entree was disappointing. The meat was medium rare in the very center and well-done for majority of the cut. As a result, it was almost flavorless on its own. The potatoes were WAY too salty. My husband got the duck confit and while the crispy skin was wonderful, the meat was closer in texture to roasted than confit. Service was friendly but for all of the many people offering to take our side plates, we had to flag them down for a few important things. Still very nice. The ambiance was lively, but two things made it hard to enjoy. First was the loud house music. Second was the filthy HVAC vent on the wall above our table. See picture.

Our food was delicious and it was a perfect casual dinner to have with friends on a Saturday night. We brought our own bottle of wine and paid the corkage fee and our waiter was very attentive and accommodating. I would definitely go back with friends for a nice dinner.
