   Excellent night at Benzina. Ya--menu is small, but everything on it is stellar! Yes--you will pay more for some items then you may at others for similar items. However--you will not get better food. Best dining experience we've had in a long time. Can't wait to go back.....gonna book my next visit now!

   It was our first visit to Benzina. While we like the diner 1960s feel of the restaurant and open feel the food, time to table and service were not amazing. Our server was lovely but seemed very unfocused and kept forgetting to come back to us. The time it took to get food out was excessively long and we are happy to wait if told a reason but it felt like perhaps the kitchen was either understaffed or not very experienced. We did love a few items but the cost was on the high side for what it was - this is a place I would compare to Cativella and I would rate an overall experience at Cativella as much better and better value any day. The pastas were very good but small portions and took close to an hour to prepare. Pizzas were only ok. The cauliflower appetizer was yummy and my kids loved the interesting Cesar salad. It just didn’t wow us but I’m still glad we tried it.

   Owner B. Anderson hits it out of the park once again! Delicious food, plenty of choices in a casual atmosphere. The chicken was perfectly prepared as were the ravioli’s. Perfect for a date night!

    Loved the food - it was delicious. It’s on the expensive side for the menu and style, and it wouldn’t take much at all to make it feel worth it. A $17 salad and a $38 were just way to small for the money. Both just needed more basics - greens and pasta - not the expensive stuff. That was a shame, but honestly the flavors were great and the ingredients first class.

    I’m a lift driver. I picked up my riders in downtown and all the riders could talk about was your restaurant. So I decided to take my wife, my neighbor and and myself and try it the next night. Amazing chicken dish. The salad delicious. We all loved the food and we’re discussing what night to take the family’s. The owner was nice enough to stop by our table and ask us how we liked the meal. Charming man. You’ll love this restaurant!!

    The menu is very limited. There are only two salads and they are very small. The lobster pasta was tiny and the noodles didn’t seem cooked through. The pizza was very salty. The staff was lovely!

    The Smoked Trout Caesar Salad was extraordinary and the crust and cheese on the Margarita Pizza delicious. Best of all was the greeting from Charlie who greeted us warmly at the door and checked on us again during the meal. An extraordinary employee.

    We had a great time, a delightful waitress, and even a visit from the owner. Super nice and unexpected! I reluctantly tried the beef tartare starter and it was the best thing we had! My only gripe is a limited, and very pricey menu. Extensive wine list, and they aren’t giving it away! Would I go back? Absolutely, but might take our second drinks back at home.
