Waiter had to start by telling us what was not available on their limited menu. Half of the menu wasn't available. The carb cakes are ridiculously small for the price. I will not be back.
I would not recommend food. However, I would recommend the live entertainment on Saturday night 8pm -10pm for mature music fun loving crowd
my husband and I went for VALENTINE'S day, we love the restaurant but was a little disappointed that they ran out of certain food items (we get it.. it was a special day),but it didn't stop us from enjoying our evening, my food took a little longer than I wanted but overall, we enjoyed, I'd definitely recommend to our family and friends.
I made a reservation for this restaurant for Valentine's Day after googling "live music". I was pleasantly surprised because I was unfamiliar with the restaurant. When my friend and I arrived, we were seated in a tight upstairs corner table, which wasn't a major deal because we aren't overweight people. However, it wasn't a great place to be seated visually. This is a slightly upscale restaurant, so I wasn't expecting the paper napkins. My friend and I both ordered the "herb roasted chicken" dish (I had potatoes and carrots; he had potatoes and rice), and neither of us were pleased because it was quite bland all the way around, in addition to the chicken being bone-in breast. And to top everything off ... there was no live music, but a cd playing in the background. I was quite disappointed and probably will never return, and definitely wouldn't suggest it to anyone.
Food was so so. Staff could use some "Chick-Fil-A" style training.
Find a way to shield guests from the cold air coming from the outside when the entrance door is opened.
Made a reservation, got a confirmation text, and arrived at the restaurant to find it CLOSED. No attempt was made to notify me (by the restaurant or OpenTable) and thus I will question the validity of every future reservation (if I am unable to circumvent this app to make a reservation).
The food was good but some communication issues about which food they had was confusing. We were told by the waiter they didn't have something but then the cook said they did. We had to ask for the different sauces that came with one of the appetizers. Overall it was minimal & I would go again.
The music from the speakers is great; nice R&B/soul music. Once the band started playing they kept the music playing through the speakers as well so it was a little unnerving. The food was OK they were transitioning chefs so there was a modified very simple menu with a few items. Met the chef, she was awesome I appreciated it and thanked her. Once the live band ended around 10 PM the music changed to trap/hip-hop music and I was very disappointed by that. Clearly the staff was cleaning up and closing things out so they switched music over and I did not like that at all
Ambiance was great, appetizer was good, entree was not good and the plating was sloppy. Someone from the restaurant charged an extra $50 to my card for a tip i think it was our waitress. Noticed it in my bank statement a few days later and the manager took care of it. Will not be returning .
Greeting was great. Waitress was excellent. However our food was served warm and not prepared as asked. So we had to send the food back. We had white sangria which was delicious. I enjoyed the atmosphere so yes I will be returning.
We were celebrating our 12th yr anniversary and it was wonderful. The restaurant was beautiful food was great, I loved the live entertainment. Overall it experience was really worth it. Only downfall was the parking its horrible.
Very nice experience. Staff was great. My food was fine. Nothing super exciting but fine. I’d go again if invited. I probably wouldn’t initiate the visit. They have a nice space upstairs if you want to do a private event.
Parking is street only and sparse.
We had 8 pm reservations on a Friday , they weren’t busy (25 count at bar area only) and had only been open 4 hours prior for happy hour. How do you run out of your main plates on a Friday and only four hours into your service time???
A straight juice was ordered and they served fermented pineapple juice, I could smell it had turned and immediately tasted it; not a good start. Back to they ran out of food, we were flexible and open to accept their substitutions, substitutions and request to have sauces on the side was not followed or left off altogether, I won’t even tell you about how my steak shrunk when replaced. The portions were also smaller than advertised, menu online was greater than restaurant menu. Our plate presentation was off, my husband ordered a meal with sweet potato mash, unfortunately it spread all over his plate, and everything from the small salmon piece to the shrimp were bathing in the loose sweet potatoes. Now everything that was to be savory was now a sweet mingling mass. Thankfully our other guests didn’t arrive because it took forever for the four of us to get our meals, each plate came out singly and more than 25 minutes apart, so we couldn’t dine together as a family as was the intention for the evening.
And with plates coming out slow and spaced the food was cold. Management came to speak with us, I said that I believe communication between chef and servers suffered and caused the beginning problems of substitutions. But as for delayed, messy, burnt asparagus, cold food that was solely on the kitchen.
Owner said comp whole dinner, but we ended up with a reduced bill at the end 🤔 and cheesecake.
Sadly this will be a one time only for us; I can’t bring myself to travel from Annapolis to Bentley’s again.
Strictly Wings and Happy Hour food, Beer & Wine, please don’t trust juices, risking fermented juice and stomach upset.
I hope they do better and do well in the future.
Had a great time. The band (Twisted Vibes) was awesome, the food was good and the service was top notch. Will definitely return.
The ambiance was excellent, my filet was a little overcooked for medium and arrived a little cool. I will try them one more time.
We made a reservation and were seated promptly when we arrived. Our waitress Erica was very friendly and attentive. One of the owners stopped by the table to introduce herself and see how our evening was going. Food and drink were both delicious! Would definitely return if we lived in the area!
The ambiance is beautiful, but the food and service aren’t up to par. They were out of a lot of things and had to substitute. Most of the food was cold and it took forever to come out, but we were one of few groups in there. The general manager brought the chef out for us to let him know our concerns and he got upset and walked away while we were talking. Our service was excellent from the server, Maurcel, but the rest of the staff didn’t support him. I would go back if they get the food and service under control. The place has a lot of potential.
Great food and wonderful atmosphere. I hope to visit again soon. Our server was very attentive and the manager David gave us a full tour of the beautiful private area.
Our first and likely last visit was terrible. To begin with, the restaurant music was unbearably loud. So loud it was impossible to hold a conversation. We asked that the music volume be lowered but, the volume increased. After a second request the volume finally decreased. The food inappropriately arrived all at once, the appetizers and entrees. Unfortunate but not a deal breaker. The meal was awful. The rice that accompanied the seafood meal had a bizarre mixture of seasonings and was not at all representative of the description on the menu. My salmon was described as skinless but arrived, skin intact and very soggy. Finally, the cost of the meal was way beyond the quality of the meal I would describe as barely mediocre.
The Bentley's experience was Great (service, ambiance, management, drinks, food, and cleanliness). The crab cakes were alittle salty but it was all crab meat no filler (a plus). The mashed sweet potatoes, mixed vegetables, and corn muffins were delicious. The drinks were great. The bang pow shrimp appeitizer was delicious. The Presentation and Ambiance, ans Wait Staff was excellent and will put Bentleys on the map. The word is out and I will be back as a regular.
The food and service was excellent. We had the seaside, baked chicken, brisket sliders, corn bread and strawberry shortcake. Nothing disappointed. The number and range food options on the happy hour menu were impressive.
Probably going to go through some growing pains, service a bit unpolished. But the food was great. Hope it makes it.
Found Bentley's through a google search. Just looking for a lounge or live music spot for a girls getaway weekend. The atmosphere, food, and staff were amazing. We will be visiting again.
Went for our 18th anniversary dinner. Live music from the bar area was very loud and seating was tight. It was about 15 minutes before a bus boy came by and offered to bring water and muffins. About another 10 mins a waiter stumbled on our table and apologized that someone hadn't come by sooner and took our drink order. We ordered two Cadillac Margarita's (with Grand Marnier). They were not good. she took our food order and about 15-20 minutes later we decided this was not getting better and decided to leave. During the first 5 minutes after we ordered, the manager, Dave came over and apologized for that our food had taken so long and would require another 12 minutes to come out. He promised to take 30% off our bill, which we thought was generous, but then we realized he had come to the wrong table! He was supposed to be going the table next to us!! i think that's when we decided we had to go!!! As we were leaving the server apologized profusely and told us there were only two of them working that night. Guess it was just not meant to be.
I enjoyed myself. The only complaint that I had is that we were sat on the first level close to the restrooms and the tables were really tight. The next time that I will request to be seated on the second level.
Everything was delicious 🥰my mother in law really enjoyed her birthday dinner!
Bentley’s was fabulous, I went for my birthday celebration and Bentley’s did not disappoint. My waitress Erica was phenomenal. The owner even came over and introduced herself. Bentley’s is very glam but also very personable.
Bentley’s was for sure not a disappointment . From the plating of the food to the different flavor options for the pancakes and french toast . The brunch was had different food selections for every type of craving . Our waitress Erica was outstanding and the next i come it’ll be for dinner and i’ll be requesting Erica .
The entire staff was friendly, timely and professional. They made us feel like VIP's.
The ambiance was beautiful , the live music was a welcomed addition. The food was excellent; hats off to the Culinary Artist Patrick The Chef Robinson. This was a five star experience we will be back very soon.
The food, music, drinks, atmosphere and staff are fantastic. Our meals were served promptly and plated very well. The chef came out and greeted everyone at their tables to make everything was to the families satisfaction. I say family because that's the way you're treated.
Food was pretty good but as with a lot of new restaurants the service was abysmal and the thing I hate most of all, they ran out of a regular menu item we ordered.
I really enjoyed everything. I will definitely be dining there again.
My friends and I had a GREAT time at the grand opening! The food was fantastic. The peach cornbread and bang pow shrimp are absolute show stoppers! The drinks were fabulous... especially the Sangria! The GM, Zahra, made sure that the service was A+! Server Lisa is great in details, and Damilla is a flat out Rockstar!!! We cannot wait to visit again!
Wonderful experience. The servers were friendly. The owners were there personally greeting and checking on guest. The music was good. The food was simply delicious.
