Benny's is a Philly-inspired, Italian-American restaurant in Portland's Arts District, from the team behind Ramona's Sandwich Shop. Enjoy a signature cocktail at our 14-seat bar, or settle down at a table for a night of classic dishes such as Meatballs, Linguine and Clams, Chicken Parmesan, or Pretzel Garlic Knots. Younger guests can enjoy our unique take on a Shirley Temple while enjoying Mozzarella Sticks and Pasta.

                                                            Hostess and waiter were great. Table was ready to go upon arrival. Ordered the meatball app which was fantastic! Garlic bread was an awesome side to the entrees. Wine and martini were both great, excellent recommendations and knowledge by the staff. We had the orecchiette entree and the chicken parm entree, both were great. Best casual Italian food we have had in a long time. Definitely recommend a visit.

                                                            We sat in the back- which was perfect, because it gave me an opportunity to eyeball every dish that came out of the kitchen. Before our meal was even over, my husband and I were looking at our schedules to see when we could come back. Our server was genuinely so nice, and they gave me a great wine rec. See ya again soon, Benny’s!

                                                            All the apps were fantastic! The Pretzel Garlic Knots and Meatballs are a must! Pasta dishes were perfectly cooked and flavorful. Can’t wait to try some hoagies next time!

                                                            Amazing cocktails - the Balboa! Peppers, chopped salad, and grilled long hots will keep me coming back. So nice having a fresh cheesesteak - and the pasta was also homey and delish. Will be back, can’t wait to bring visiting friends.

                                                            Had the bolognese and the tiramisu, both were top notch!! The handmade noodles sent the experience off the charts - meatballs on the appetizer menu are a must-have also. Really fun atmosphere for a date night :)

                                                            I absolutely loved everything I tried. We ordered Mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, chicken parm, orchiette and cannolis. All the food was flavorful and delicious. The staff is also super helpful and attentive. I cannot wait to go back and try additional items.
