   I will never go back. It was so disappointing. The service was bad. The waiter was uninterested. The wrong food came out. The second time one steak was cold and one was raw. The sides must of been rushed due to original mess up. They were not cooked. Never ate had to leave and go to another place for dinner.

   Service was a little slow. I like to be greeted and at least have my drink order taken within the first few minutes. This was not the case this time at Benny's. Food was on par with the other steakhouses around town. It's a shame they are closing on Saturday.

    The food was fantastic. It is unfortunate that this restaurant is closing in a few weeks. I would highly recommend going there in the next week and take advantage of half priced bottles of wine. The steaks were just as good or better than all of the other highly rated steakhouses in Chicago.

    I’ll start with the service. The gentleman who was our serve was very accommodating for one and two I asked for a recommendation on something really food and he came through for me! Food was excellent and prepared well! I recommend anyone looking for a tasteful meal with good service! I would absolutely go back!

    I cant remember my server name unfortunately. She was amazing, sharp and made our experience amazing. We talked restaurant talk and she introduced me and my girlfriend to the outstanding bacon appetizer. Great job!

    My wife and I had a wonderful experience on our date night at Benny's Chop house. The food, service and entertainment was outstanding. On top of the generosity of management, who went out of thier way to show their appreciation for our appearance considering the weather conditions that night. We definitely will return to Benny's for future date nights.

    Fantastic. As usual. Not my first time at Bennys. And certainly not my last. Steak houses are all over Chicago and I’ve been to most of them. I come back to Bennys for the flavor, the service, and the consistency. A better value than most of the pretentious “new” steak houses.

    I had the 7 oz Japanese black grade A5 Tajima Kobe filet for $249. It was the best steak ever and I’ve been to nearly all the steakhouses in Chicago. Absolutely superb meal.

    We have been to Benny’s many times because of its great steaks and overall food consistency. We have noticed a drop in service this past year, but last night was a downer! We were served two glasses of Pinot noir, at the servers recommendation (George wine) and we should have asked the price! Shame on us! $70 for two glasses of wine! Shame on Benny’s!     We have dined at Benny's Chophouse two times, both on new years eve, so our review is based on our experience on a special night. Both times we thoroughly enjoyed the food and special ambiance for NYE. Our table of 5 had fillet mignon, dover sole, skate wing and bone in ribeye. All entrees were thoroughly enjoyed. Side dishes are huge and we mistakenly ordered too much. One baked potato is great for 2 people. Our appetizers were also very good. On this night service was a bit slow, but we understood the staff's challenges and we were staying thru midnight anyway. We thought the wine prices were high for the quality of wine we ordered. Overall we had an excellent time, for the 2nd time.

    The food and service was very good. The noise level in the dining room was extremely loud and we (My wife and I) were seated at a table that was like a booth with 2 tables. We had another couple sitting extremely close to us....not very comfortable!

    Went to celebrate my graduation with 4 other friends. Reservation was at 4pm. They don’t open til 4 so we stood outside in cold to make sure we were on time. At 4:01 we saw two people standing at hostess booth just staring at us. At 4:03 I called and asked them if we were going to open the door and why would they just stand and look at us in the cold and not open the door. She then came and unliked the door around 4:05. Not even an apology!!! It makes me wonder if they didn’t open the door because 6 black people were huddled in front of there establishment. And no apology. Our party spent almost $$700 that night to be treated like that. Very disappointed.

    Very good experience. We had the dry aged steak and they were very good. Good vibe and atmosphere. It was our anniversary dinner, and I put that in the reservation. Some other high-end steakhouse we have been to would have had a card and the waiter/waitress would acknowledge that when we were there. I was hoping the restaurant would have done little thing special for us.

    Great service. Ordered a bone in New York strip and it was not as good as I expected. Some chewy parts that I didnt expect for a $60 steak. Wife's steak was excellant as were the sides and salads

    One of the best steakhouses I've ever been! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by smiling faces. As we were walked to our table, staff seemed happy and friendly. Our waitress, Josie, was phenomenal! Our food was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. 10/10 would come back again and would recommend Benny's to EVERYONE.

    Phenomenal food and service. Nothing like the Maple Glazed bacon! The strip and the filet we ordered were perfect and went well with the cheesiest macaroni and cheese and creamed spinach. The service was outstanding. Can’t wait to come back. Also the Manhattans were perfect!

    Upon recommendation of a friend I visited Benny’s with high expectations. When arrived I was greeted by the host and confirmed my reservations then she offered to check my coat and proceeded to escort to my table. My waiter Gary was most polite and helpful in choosing my appetizer and dinner entree. I had the maple glazed bacon which was an unexpected treat to say the least. Wasn’t sure if it was the appetizer or dessert. It was follow by an 8 oz filet minion that was the finest I’ve ever had. Steak knife? Who needed a steak knife! Accompany the filet was a more than generous portion of Steak onion rings. I top off the evening as I listen to the live piano and singing of Christmas music with a crusted Apple tart alamode drizzled in carmel. Not once did I have to ask for something Gary was right there with his professional service. Nothing on this night could I complain about everything was just perfect.
