   Nice restaurant a little east of the theater district. Service was efficient but not intrusive.

   The bartender/server was amazing & provided excellent service but the food on the other hand was a disappointment. it was my first meal of the day The lobster in the risotto was extremely hard, chewy & smelled fishy. The BJ Burger was awful. It was bland, spiceless & tasted like freezer burned meat

   I am pretty passive, so I do not like to leave a negative review, I like to be fair. I base my review on customer service, food, and atmosphere. With that being said, I would not go back. First, the hostess was extremely rude. If we request another table because ours was wobbly, don't roll your eyes at me. Keep in mind, we just sat down, and the table was like an inch off. On the other hand, our waitress was very nice and professional. The food was not that good. Keep in mind, we did not order the steaks. The steaks looked amazing. My wife's fish was over cooked, and the bread had burnt spots. My friend's seafood fettuccini was way over cooked. He said the shrimp was like "rubber". I said, "I like mine on the more done side, let me try one". He was right. It was as tough as the sole of a shoe. He couldn't even finish one piece of his calamari it was so tough. My spaghetti carbonara was pretty good. My wife said a little to "eggy", but I couldn't tell the difference. Overall, the atmosphere was nice, server was nice, but for the price compared to quality, no thanks. However, if by some slim chance I were to go back, I would get the steak.

   The filet was ordered rare but came medium rare. It was a little tough.

   Sat at the bar and met some remarkable people. Was pre-theater happy hour. Nice experience.

   This restaurant has a very friendly and competent waitstaff and a fully stocked bar. The food was perfectly adequate with large portions, but it was pretty average for a city full of Italian restaurants. We had a nice, quiet meal.
