Outstanding meal as usual. 3 of us shared the porterhouse for 2 accompanied by mashed potatoes, asparagus and 3 appetizers (Caesar salad, Wedge salad, lobster bisque). Everything was delicious. Prices were high end steakhouse prices but you get what you pay for. Will be going back … again

All was a good time and food. Only complaint was the maitre D did not have a good attitude with me. When I arrived I saw him and started to give me my name and abruptly went to say hello to a "regular". I was then seated by the reservationist. Later the maitre D came over and took our order but in a rushed manner. The server later came over to confirm our order bc it was obvious that the MD mumbled our order back to the server. I should've asked for the MDs name, but didn't The server couldn't have been nicer. Tom G

The lack of diversity in its wait and other staff was appalling In a city as diverse as New York, there was not one African American working there. These are good jobs that can allow employees to support a family and there is no excuse for discrimination that keeps Black Americans from being able to access those jobs. The manager admitted that they had absolutely no African Americans on staff. Neither we nor our companies will dine their again. We cannot support discrimination,

Food was everything you expected in a good steakhouse. Service was poor! We waited 15 minutes before we ordered our drinks when waiter questioned if I’d like the drink I ordered. I am in my mid-50s and I think at this point in my life I know what I want to drink and don’t need to be questioned. In the middle of our appetizer there was a revolting smell that engulfed the restaurant, diners @ other tables were commenting about it with us, this forced the restaurant to open the front door on a February evening and not a word was mentioned by the management about the smell or the cold air. The table hadn’t been cleared of our appetizer plates when the main course arrived, that’s simply POOR therefore we had to stack the dishes and glasses on the window sill. Espresso was not hot. A serious disappointment for a very expensive meal. We will not return!!

We arrived a little early for our reservation but we were able to be seated. I was offered suggestions on steak and wine and the suggestions were great. We enjoyed our meal very much. I will definitely go back. I went to celebrate my 40th birthday (a few days later) and it was a great choice.

The experience was nice but for Valentine’s Day it was as a four hour service. The food took almost an hour to make and the wait time for a table was 45 minutes. Overall, the food was good but wait times ruin the experience

I went during the close of Restaurant Week and the Restaurant was very busy. Seating was good. Ari, an excellent Bartender, was covering our table and did a very good job. You never go wrong ordering in Benjamin Steakhouse Prime. The filet I ordered was cooked to perfection. The staff are attentive, helpful and a joy to interact with. Highly recommend this above average Restaurant Establishment.
