When we do takeout, it is very difficult to communicate your order to the order taker, and it is very expensive for takeout food. Last night, the food was very good, but the service was a little slow for the amount of people who were there.

This location used to be a Genji's (which we frequented) and was converted over to a Benihana in 2022. The interior is nice, the staff very friendly. Pricing however is toward the high end for the meal you get. It's a good place to go once for the 'show'.

I love the atmosphere here. They have done so much to this restaurant, I am astounded. The prices have been lowered and it shows. The staff is on their toes, the food is excellent, the experience is a 10/10. A wonderful place to eat, comfortable and affordable!

The yum yum sauce isn’t as good, the rice is bland and that chopped up mush you add to the rice is useless. The rice was bland. The tericki chicken had no flavor either. We probably won’t be returning nor giving good reviews

We sat at sushi bar and enjoyed perfectly prepared Nigiri sushi, dragon roll, chili shrimp roll, and bottle of Sho Chiku Bai Ginjo sake. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious!

Cobwebs everywhere, flies everywhere. It’s like they only clean the side where the grills are and don’t do anything about the tables. Food was okay, extremely overpriced. Go to blossoms or Hokkaido for the same/better food for way cheaper. Not going back. Huge downgrade from Genji.

We had a great meal! We were almost hesitant to go after seeing reviews but so glad we did. Hibachi adds expense but it is also entertaining and makes for a fun experience. We thought the food was great and the entire experience worth the expense! We loved our chef and waitress!

Overall had a great dining experience. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the “show”. This location lives up to the Benihana standard. Give it a shot if you are looking for a hibachi experience in saginaw.

The food was an unseasoned, bland mess that screamed short-cut at every turn. From the minced mirepoix the size of two tablespoons added to bland rice generously referred to as “fried rice” with a $5 up charge to the chicken which was not seasoned until after it completely cooked through - it was just not good. The veggies were limited to green zucchini and a generous helping of onion. It was nothing like the former Genjis or any other Hibachi place we’ve been to including other Benihanas. What they added to ambience the subtracted in edible food. An hour wait for soup and 90 minute wait for food even with reservations make this a total no-go in the future.

Service was excellent, but.....the restaurant has an aweful smell once you walk in, like a sewer smell. The smell wasn't bad once you got into the actual grill room( thank goodness!) The food was just ok, but probably the most we have paid for a Japanese steakhouse, plus an extra 4.50 for fried rice! We were celebrating a birthday, so we went, but will probably be our last trip there.

Service and food were mediocre. The vegetable was white onion and a single slice of zucchini. The steak was loaded with grizzle and fat and overcooked, and unseasoned. Had to ask for sauces. Service was one server for all of the grill guests. She did her best as she was alone!! We won’t return. Very overpriced and underwhelming.

We had a reservation at noon. It took 30 minutes just to order. The food was ok and way overpriced compared to genji. $450 for six adults and a 2 year old. Not sure if we’ll return.

This was our first time dining since Benihana took over the former Ghenji. The cost of dinner doubled since our last visit and the food was not as good. $5 charge for fried rice after paying almost $40 for the dinner was ridiculous. Then they have no salad dressing options besides the house dressing. Far too expensive for what we got. We will likely not return.

Honestly, didn’t eat there. Made a reservation, drove 1.5 hours. Power was out and the doors locked. No call/text/email. Pretty poor communication. Super disappointing, especially for the kids.
