   Disappointed in the milwaukee Benihana Steak and shrimp were under cooked and salmon was overcooked. They forgot to include the veggies with my dish and I had to ask for the rice, which is supposed to come with every meal. I was also surprised that for a party of 2, they included a 20% gratuity. I know that is typical for a party over six, though the service was not what it used to be and I didnt get half my meal, and the rest was not edible. The point of Benihana is to go for the experience, though both meals ordered were not edible. If you order pizza after a meal, you know it wasnt up to par.

   The manager here was extremely rude and short with me when I expressed my confusion about using a coupon. You also do not get big portions, considering how much money you pay. Definitely felt like we were being cheated out of a meal.

   The waitress was awesome. She made sure we got what we needed in a timely fashion and continued to check on us. Her service was outstanding (forgot her name) but thank you.!💓 Our food was cooked to the T and I enjoyed it as always.!

   It was my birthday dinner with my fiancé and although there were allot of Birthday diners going on we enjoyed the energy without the Birthday singing or dessert, the entertainment of the chef cooking in front of us and serving us, the food was absolutely amazing. The only issue was the server offered poor and slow service. Maybe she needs more time off or less tables but she seemed irritated with us asking for drinks or our dessert that was ordered with our food. But it was my birthday and I refuse to not enjoy a day dedicated to my creation so I still enjoyed it!

    This was our first trip here and will not be returning. Very low quality food, service was not that great and noisy. Drink we’re just as bad!! at the mostSmall portions of bad food and way over priced!!! Save your money and get carry out. Would not recommend!

    This was mine and my husbands very first time coming here and I must saying I wish we spent our Valentine’s Day dinner at another restaurant. I made these reservations over two weeks ago and was excited to come here and surprise my husband as he loves sushi. We were excited to visit here and already knew what we wanted to order upon our arrival. When we sat down and were handed our menus we quickly realized that there was a “special” holiday aka Valentines Day menu, which consisted of 80% hibachi meals and about 4 rolls. We couldn’t believe it! We didn’t go there for hibachi but for the sushi. In making this reservation there was nothing stated that there would be a special menu containing only 15% of their normal menu items. To say that we were disappointed on a much needed and very rarely taken date night, is an understatement. We spent over $100 for mediocre hibachi, to sit in a crowded and cold upstairs room just to be pumped out like cattle. What a huge waste of a night.

    Very disappointed. I ordered the Hibachi Chicken described as coming with mushrooms and sesame seeds. I had to ask for the mushrooms; the sesame seeds were never included. The sauces generally served before the cooking begins weren’t given until the end of the cooking. By then most of the food was cold. We ordered an appetizer that wasn’t brought to us but appeared on the bill. It was loud and to many people at the table to even have room for the drinks, plates and sauce dishes. We won’t be going there again.

    Very out dated restaurant. First time to Benihana which we thought was a high end hibachi place. Price was only thing high end. The chef was marginal with no fancy skills that were expected beyond minimal hand-eye coordination and what could be learned over a one week course on twirling utensils. Absolutely no WOW factor at all. That is supposed to be the main attraction at a place like this. $300 for 5 people. Very disappointed and will not be back. One positive is the food tasted good and we had decent portions.

    to start the evening they were completely out of rum, no bacardi, no bar rail, no rum period. so that was not good. also only sell 2 different beer both of which are crap. they sat us with a party of 5 that had 2 screaming kids in the lobby even before they seated us. then we look over and see that the other table they sat was just 2 people a couple, why would they seat us as a couple with a family of 5 with 2 screaming kids and then seat a couple at another table all alone. the other table was already being served there appetizers before we even got our soup as the family of 5 kept saying that they needed more time to decide their dinner choices. then when things finally did get move the disappointment continues. they brought our soup and salad at the same time and soup was cold and they forgot the dressing on our salad, the waitress said she would be right back with dressing but that never happened. On to dinner with hibachi chef, horrible experience, i think he was new or just didn't care, he started cooking our meal and pretty much put everything on at the same time. so first we were served our appetizer shrimp at the same time as our dinner shrimp and my dinner lobster. 10 minutes later we were served our dinner steaks followed by our dinner/appetizer sauces that he forgot to give us for our shrimp appetizer / dinner shrimp. next we got our dinner vegtablesn then he cleaned the flat top and cooked our chicken fried rice which would typically come with appetizers and early dinner.. by the time we got our vegtables and rice everything else was cold. then the waitress came back with boxes for us and our checks and never brought our saki or dessert even though we ordered and paid for the 6 course meal for both of us. beyond dissapointed and will never go back again. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

    Food was delicious as usual. I always request Chef Javier and this is the first time they actually acknowledged and met my request. He’s the best Chef there, very personable and prepares the food well! Like everywhere else, the prices have continued to rise significantly; not so bad if the portions at least stayed the same but the portions have continued to get smaller while the prices higher. Still, I know that I will 99% of the time be satisfied with the taste and service!

    Very good food! Serious hibachi cook no smiles. Have a shrimp allergy and still cooked shrimp and offered to me. Lady who ordered shrimp changed her order to accommodate me. Very cool. However they still cooked her shrimp and offered to our table.

    It's definitely changed a lot. There was a cold draft at our table so we were all cold and the food got cold. The environment isn't clean there was a cigarette butt on the stairs and it smelled like smoke so I'd assume someone was smoking in the stairwell. You can't use their parking lot without paying for valet. It's just not the same as it used to be. The waitress was wonderful though.

    I haven’t be to Benihana’s in a while but I was highly disappointed in my return visit. We had 5 people in our party, only 4 of which ordered fried rice. We were charged for 6 sides of fried rice (the other 2 sides, I am assuming for the other party at our table.) we asked for waters and were not given them until we asked about 3 more times. My kids ordered sweet tea and lemonade and did not get refills and we never got our hot green tea which came with the hibachi. There is an Asian restaurant in Pewaukee where the food is just as good and my bill for 5 people NEVER reaches $300

    Food was awesome but our bill was wrong over three times… it was actually wrong a 4th time but I wanted to go home so I just paid the overcharge. Otherwise the portions were better than I expected, our chef was fun and engaging ! I’d definitely come again if the dining wasn’t expensive.

    Seemed rushed…I was hoping for more of an “experience” and the “experience” was maybe 15 minutes. We did the egg tossing and the fire in the onion…and, there was only time for one cocktail! While the staff was nice, I felt like i couldn’t order an additional beverage…and enjoy any ambiance.

    Not all people want the hibachi. I specifically mentioned wanting only sushi multiple times, because I wanted sushi/maki and a quieter dinning experience. The only seating they had was at the bar, with no bartender. if this was advertised as hibachi only type place, I would not have selected it for my dining experience. I will probably not be going back for a long time.

    I understand that seating tables at a Hibachi style restaurant is more complicated than most. With that said, several parties arrived to be seated at the same time and the atmosphere in the waiting area was poor and the ability to get a drink at the bar while waiting was nearly non existent. In all we were seated 15-20 minutes late. Once seated our service was excellent and the hibachi chef was great though hard to hear as the atmosphere was very loud. The food was very good. It was quite expense $400 and change drinks and tip included for a party of 6. Definitely had better hibachi experiences for less money than this one but we will return.

    Nice dinner before a show. Order was messed a couple of times, the bill was wrong, the chef tried to fix everything, but there were still some issues. A bit pricey for errors like that, but it’s a good time.
