Enjoyed your establishment worth the time and money
As usual Benihana is a great place to go and always consistent in any city. A little pricey but definitely worth it.
I love Benihana’s! However, we’ve never been to this particular location. We had reservations for 8:45PM and upon arrival we were told to sit at the bar until our table was ready. Our table wasn’t ready until about 9:10PM. After that, I feel as though everything was being rushed because it was towards the end of the night and closing time soon. It took 10 to 15 minutes for the table of eight to receive drinks! The chef did absolutely no tricks and was not engaged or entertaining at all! I thought the food still turned out well & was satisfying!
Good food and great customer service I will be going back soon
I think we caught this location on an off night. Perhaps got the worst chef on the staff. Did not follow procedures. Food was not cooked right and service without a smile. Others tables surrounding us had a much better experience.
The overall experience was fantastic! The only concern I have was that there were no covid restrictions in place. We were seated at a table shoulder to shoulder, and although I understand that it's part of the hibachi experience I would have appreciate it if people were spaced out more.
It's way too expensive for what you get. The food was good but there was no show or performance like at the other restaurants. I could go to Fujiyama get the same meal I got for cheaper and with a better show
I dont think ill be returning and if I do, it won't be for anytime soon
We went for a birthday and it was supper nice, a little too loud but other than that everything was fine.
They were understaffed, and the few staff they had did not know how to do their jobs well. Never got or desserts, no water refills, and no second drinks.
We were celebrating our exchange students Birthday.
The food was good, we had nice time & its definitely on the pricey side.
We were seated in a reasonable amount of time and had our order taken but had to wait over 40 minutes for the cook to show up. Once he came he could not read the order correctly for anyone at the table and even after we explained it to him he made mistakes. My wife ordered the trio and the cook gave her steak to someone that ordered chicken then made her wait until he had cooked everything and cleaned the grill to make her steak so her other food was cold. There were 2 kids at the table and he only made the meat for one and the other had to also wait until the end for their chicken to get cooked. I ordered a teriyaki trio and he did not make any of my meat teriyaki. He burned the onions and the grill was a mess with rice and food everywhere. I have had hibachi many times and he was the worse. He gave some people extra food and others not enough. BUT THE WORSE WAS HIS MASK DID NOT FIT OR STAY OVER HIS NOSE AND MOUTH SO HE HAD TO KEEP TOUCHING AND ADJUST IT AND EVEN WAS SCRATCHING HIS NOSE AND I DOUBT ANY OF THAT IS FOLLOWING COVID GUIDELINES. They automatically added 18% gratuity and I feel that was stealing after the service and bland food.
The chef was absolutely disgusting. His apron looked like he was cleaning car engines all day and his nails looked like he was a mechanic. Appearance definitely matters in a dinner with a show atmosphere. He also did various cross-contamination things. For instance when he laid the shrimp out, raw chicken fell ontop of it. When called out he said “it’s gonna be ok because I’m cooking it”.... speaking of shrimp he over cooked it. The shrimp was charred. I was so disappointed. I don’t think I will ever go back.
Birthday but didn’t get a birthday recognition
Dress code is a joke, diners on phones, no social distancing. It appears that dining manners are dead.
The quality of food at Benihana is amazing. Awesome and fun place to go to with family it friends. Our dinners were top notch.
The experience was mediocre. Service was slow,I had to ask for my beverages on several occasions, some customers were in conflict with the management team, making me feel a bit unsafe. I was not able to use my birthday savings because I did not print out a hard copy. I found this to be antiquated considering that the menu saving is info and reservations were high tech. This ruined my entire birthday experience as I a senior with limited income I was not prepared to pay thus additional amount. My bill was over $100. I would not return or recommended this restaurant, NEVER.
The onlt way to go is the Trio with fried rice--filet, chicken, and shrimp. Mai tais are a must drink.
It was one of the best experience I ever had I was so glad I came I love to recommend my friends and family to come out
Overall, great experience. The restaurant was busy, but service was good. My hibachi filet dinner was on point. My husband said the sushi was delicious. Our kids enjoyed the “cooking show!” And our out-of-town guests really liked their meals, too. We’ll definitely be back in the future.
Celebrated my grandmother 79th birthday
Good food, service awesome, I visit often
Had the hibachi and everything was so delicious! We had a great time and look forward to going back again.
Rude server. Charged us for sushi we didn't eat. Cook was ok..... also had a bad attitude. Food was ok. We've been eating here for years - quality has defiantly gone downhill. Sadly, I will not return.
Overall the establishment is dated and dirty. The food is as good as any Benihana but the noise from all the hoods is a bit overwhelming. Wouldn't go to this location again.
If you’ve been to Benihana’s before, you know what to expect. The young African American woman who greeted us was very pleasant, attractive and engaging. The chef was efficient cooking individual meals for 8 in short, creative order. My food was perfect as was my wife’s. The staff experience was excellent as was the quality of the food. Not inexpensive to be sure but a nice evening out, as expected.
I was a great restaurant. Our first impression was kind of an unprofessional careless service vibe at first. We had to wait 30 mins to start eating. Waiting for rude people to sit in. It was all a weird experiences. I only give it a 5/5 because the Chef and the food he cooked was amazingly delicious. He carried the team. Thanks chef
Food is excellent, the chefs always put on a good show. Very pricy so we only go for special occasions, but would eat there every day if cost wasn't an issue.
It was overpriced... chicken was dry... the steak and shrimp was good, but everything was upcharged... been to other Japanese Steak Houses with better experience for cheaper price... definitely did not like the automatic 20% gratuity they add to the check... the waitress gets 2 thumbs up, but the experience was boring compared to other similar places... not worth $170 for 4 people.
We went for my nephews 20th birthday our into all reservation was for 6 but they kindly allowed us to adjust as our party grew by time of arrival. The staff were accommodating to our needs and service was very smooth. Food was great always more than can be eaten in one sitting but gave us that extra take home treat! Valet parking was great due to the minimal parking options in the area.
The Apple sake was delish!!
Dim, not very updated, but quick service.
Birthday celebration. It’s always a treat to go amd we love the chicken fried rice.
We were rushed, asked to order drinks and meals immediately upon sitting down. We didn’t receive the rice or one of the sushi rolls we ordered. Mixed drinks were overpriced and had tons of ice. We reserved a table for two, but had to sit elbow to elbow with strangers, and could hardly hear each other. Sushi tasted old; I did not eat it.
Fantastic! Annual family meal celebrating end of school year & Father’s Day.
Loved it! Took my bf for his birthday and we had a beautiful time will be back!
Reservation at 5:30 pm but didn’t get seated until 6:00 pm. Food orders weren’t taken until 6:30. We were with two toddlers so the by the time food was cooked the meal was already spoiled by waiting over 1.5 hours to get a morsel of food. Food and table chef was great but the rest of the experience was unacceptable. We were seated with a terrific couple who was also irritated with the poor service. It wasn’t just about having two kids. The service was just bad.
Had a horrible experience! The manger was very rude, there was an issue with them applying our bday coupon it was just a mess.
Avoid this restaurant! No COVID precautions, the tables are super close and full. It was very hard to hear even my husband sitting next to me. Very poor service, our waitress didn’t come to check on us until after we finished eating. We didn’t get all of the food we ordered. The restaurant was dirty and very dated. The hibachi chef was very personable, but all of the food was very over cooked. My husband and I both got sick after we left. When our bill came a 20% gratuity had already been added when it was only the 2 of us on the bill, but the waitress had sneakily put that all 7 of us sat at the table were together, but we were most definitely not. Very poor value for the money. Any other hibachi restaurant is much better.
Super hot. No air or windows. Food was expensive. Entertainment was minimal.
Great atmosphere food was good and they took extra precautions for food allergies.
I booked the restaurant because of Milwaukee dining week.
The menu looked interesting and I’ve never been to Benihana‘s before. I had to Yakisoba. It lacked flavor and the rice that came with it was totally tasteless
