   Everything was good. They do have a mandatory 20% Gratuity charge which many don’t agree with. They should allow people to tip what the feel.

   This place is fun and the staff were wonderful. Be sure to ask about parking. This is not advertised and our party spent over $50 to park nearby. After spending hundreds of dollars on dinner, which was expected and to discover they have onsite FREE parking when we were leaving was very disappointing. Benihana managers, please notify customers that make a reservation about onsite FREE parking.

   I felt I walked into the 1960’s, the restaurant is so outdated. Once we sat upstairs the noise was unbearable. There was a large group that took up several tables and they were LOUD. Ruined the night and the food was nothing special.

   Even with a reservation it took more than an hour before our chef came to the table. Every order was wrong at the table and chef did not speak English and did understand when the other guests tried to make sure they were getting the correct food. I ordered sushi that never came out even after reminding the waitress 3 times. We never got the ice cream that came with our meals. Everything was majorly overcooked which is crazy since the chef is right there in front of you. Medium rare steak came with no pink and very chewy. Skip is place and go to one of the local hibachi places.

   It was my son's birthday & we were on vacation from New Orleans, LA. First time in Milwaukee & this one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had in a long time. We handle the situation with grace but would never visit again, especially if this is the 1st impression of Benihana. I strongly recommend somewhere else to go.

   We chose this restaurant to celebrate our friends birthdays. There was a total of 8 at our table. When our chef started putting the cooked vegetables on people's plates, my husband and I were the last ones to be served and we got very little vegetables. My husband got 2 pieces of onion and 2 or 3 pieces of zuchinni while others got a larger helping. Not distributed very evenly. My helping was not much more than that. I was very surprised at that. I had scallops and they were cooked perfect. My husband had the filet mignon which he asked for medium rare. It was well done. Not the experience we expected for all the hype we heard. Not sure if we'll be returning.

   We had reservations booked in advance and waited well over 45 minutes for a table. The chef cooked our food, but did not entertain while doing so, which was a huge disappointment to our children.

   The kiddos had a great time, but would definitely limit menu options if hosting a teen party again. And for the amount we paid for the 10 meals- every guest should received ice cream, not just the birthday girl. But the (10) 14y/olds had an amazing time!

   For the money you spend, you might as well go to a place that will at least provide decent service. Our waitress forgot everything, remembered she forgot, and still closed our bill without giving us part of our order. Additionally, the spicy crunchy rice appetizers we ordered were really poor quality. The hibachi chefs were awesome. But that was about it. Last time at this place for us.

    The service was fine. The food was below average compared to other hibachi restaurants I’ve been to/compared to other restaurants in general. I ordered a medium rare steak, it was served well done. Honestly an underwhelming experience. A few of our stomach’s felt funny after eating. I didn’t hate my experience, but I would definitely never recommend this restaurant to anyone and I will never go back.
