Enjoyed a very nice birthday dinner there. Good food, good service, would return.
Fun atmosphere, good food and service, nice place to go and enjoy meal
Bad the chef is horrible must been his first table
I love Benihana's, always have always will! We'll be back.
Ironically I went twice in two days (for a friends b-day and then with my spouse.) and got the same chef that could have been partial reasoning for this review. One of the main reasons I come to Benihana’s is for the fried rice and both times it was over cooked along with my shrimp the Second time around. For the prices I pay there I expect the food to be worth it. The room was very smoky and at times caused my eyes to burn and made it a little hard to breath so I suggest maybe some ventilation (a fan or something) to clear the smoke. My steak (which I like well done ) was amazing! The staff was amazing! The chef was also very good besides the fact that the rice was over cooked and I believe it’s just to his disired done-ness because it was the same both days. My Spouse ordered lobster and they taste like they were Overly fishy and maybe that’s the downside from ordering Lobster in the desert but Redlobsters tails don’t taste like that and aren’t nearly expensive. I’m from Cali so the one in Torrance never disappointed and the Menu in Vegas does not have the Salmon with Mango salsa which was my absolute fave so yeah... slightly disappointed. The prices don’t match the food quality.
Zack, our chef was AMAZING!! So talented & very friendly!!! Food was awesome as well!!
We took a party of 10 for my 30th birthday. The service was great. Our waitress was super fun and the cooks were very entertaining.
We had a wonderful visit ...upon entering the restaurant we were greeeted immediately in a friendly helpful manner only waiting a few minutes, the waitress came right over to take our drink order , she gave us a few minutes to pursue the menu and asked if we had any questions. The service was excellent; the noise level I don’t think can be helped with the grills at 425 degrees and another point worth mentioning is you come out smelling like your dinner which isn’t necessarily bad but maybe different ventilation might help.
But overall I would highly recommend Benihana’s !
Our Chef Adam was great! He had a sense of humor and very good at his job!
Friendly staff, great food. Birthday celebration complete. Excellent sushi selection, fresh ingredients well-prepared to request
We always enjoy our time at Benihana’s! We have been blessed to always get an energetic and enthusiastic chef that loves to engage with the patrons at his table.
My wife took our party out for my 28th birthday . We had anticipated this dinner all weekend long . When we 1st arrived the host was a bit rude but it was ok . We just sat out on the patio and waited . When we were finally seated out waitress was considerably rude! Every time we asked for a drink or had a question about the menu she sucked her teeth and rolled her eyes as if we were bothering her . We shrugged it off and went about our dinner . Our chef was good he lightened up the mood witch was good. But my cup had not been filled for the whole dinner I had to share my wife’s soda and had to ask 2 other waitresses for a refill of water. We proceed to finish our meal and my wife asks if they can sing me happy birthday which obviously our waitress didn’t want to do but did anyways in a mumbling tone . We waited for about 15 minutes for our boxes and enough was enough we just left without getting our ice cream .
Had a great experience
Food was amazing and our chief was fun.
We have many choices when dining out in Vegas so we’re very happy with this choice.
Looking forward to our next trip to beihana.
Everything was pretty good. I enjoyed myself and the others in my group did as well. We had an amazing waitress named Jasmine who made sure everything went smoothly. Oh chef he was great and kept the kids at the table very entertained. I will be returning my next trip to Vegas.
Food was too salty. The chef made rice fly into my drinks. It takes too long for them start cooking.
Good food and the cocktails are very good, I appreciate the good treatment from the people in charge of your reservation, the hostess very nice.
The best thing about the experience was the food. Everything else fell far short of our expectations. We made a reservation for 4 at 9:00pm to celebrate my spouse’s birthday. We were finally seated 20 minutes after 9. The server came over and took our drink orders, and they were served fairly promptly. Then things started going downhill very quickly. To say the service was slow would be the understatement of the century. The table behind us was seated 10 minutes after we were, but their order was taken before ours and they were already finished eating by the time we put one bite of food in our mouths. We didn’t even have a chef to cook our meal until 10:30pm (again, for a 9:00pm reservation). The server and manager had no explanation as to why it took so long for us to be served while the other table was taken care of so quickly. With the cook not getting to our table until an hour and a half after our reservation time, you would think the wait staff and management would be constantly checking in on our group, making sure we have full glasses or a free round of drinks. You would be wrong. When he finally did arrive, the cook’s presentation of the food was so-so at best. The first trick he performed was dropping an egg on the floor. Luckily the food itself was tasty. Management did give us a discount for the inconvenience, but the whole experience left us with a bad taste in our mouths. Pun intended.
By the time we left, the restaurant was empty. My spouse went to the bathroom as we were leaving. When he came out a minute later, management had locked the doors. He had to unlock the door to let himself out of the store because there was no employee there to do so.
Next time, we will go to the Westgate location. We have always had great service there.
Waiter had too many tables on hand took for ever to get drinks and took 25 minutes just to get soup and salads lastly forgot to offer us ice cream since it does come with our meals lastly someone else who sat with us where celebrating our birthday never got sang to waiter totally forgot. Luckily the chef was more than entertainment.
Great service and food but extremely weak air circulation.
Service was horrible, our waitress was running around w/o any direction. She forgot my beverage, my salad and later realized never brought the table their salad. Never refilled our drinks. I love Benihana but this waitress was no good
Air conditioning is far from good, gets really hot inside. Even worse, there’s no ventilation, so all your clothes will smell really really really bad. I mean it. Even your underwear. Our taxi driver asked if we were carrying food. I’ve been to other Benihana’s and restaurants like that and they were never bad as that. Just go somewhere else.
It’s was fine
The service and food were a bit slow. This made the experience drag a bit. The food was good and you get a decent amount of it. Wish there were more vegetables given.
Last Wednesday (8/29) was our family's fifth time dining at Benihana - Las Vegas Strip. When we are back in town, we are back at Benihana. We have truly enjoyed our dinner thanks to Chef Tony. We have read rave reviews on Chef Tony so we have decided to request him and he didn't disappoint. He was truly a master Benihana chef with his great skills. He made everyone laugh and be comfortable. Our Hibachi Salmon with Avocado tartar sauce, Teriyaki Chicken and Hibachi scallops were all cooked to perfection! The 5-course meal really satisfied our hunger. Thank you also to our server, Jasmine who was very attentive to our needs the whole night. She even gave us a souvenir Benihana photo!
As bestman, I decided to take the groom and groomsmen to dinner. Honestly , I couldn’t stand to eat any more crappy food or drink any more Vegas drinks.
4 our of 6 in our party had never experienced Benihana’s. Food was great, our chef did all the tricks. We didn’t get seated until 9:45 for our 9pm reservation and we didn’t meet the chef until after 10.
Compared to other Benihana restaurants the portion seemed skimpy for the price.
Food was great. The chefs were both excellent and entertaining. The only negative was the hosting staff. We had a 7 pm reservation, showed up early, were not seated until 7:20 and watched street walking get seated before us.
Cook was AMAZING!!!! Have dinned at Benihana many times and he- Tony was great!
Just came here for my birthday, worst experience I’ve ever had from Benihana. Everybody’s rice was hard! This restaurant was way too expensive for EVERYTHING to not be on point. They took to long to come out and sing happy birthday so we just left... waiter or chef wasn’t all that friendly.
We had a very bought experience we were a party of 7 and all of us got really sick we still been sex and start day that's only thing we have that day soul and how to be something that we eat their
My family and I have been going to Benihana for 30 years. It is an annual tradition that we especially go for my mother’s birthday. I’m sad to say, this was our last time. Benihana has gone WAY downhill. Our waitress was beyond rude, food was blah, staff not helpful at all and not worth the money one bit anymore. The principals really needs to keep their eye on this location and both really in Vegas as they are giving Benihana a bad name. Horrible all around and such a bummer it is. Goodbye Benihana. Hope you do something soon.
We were in town for annual family reunion and have always liked benny's usually at the old hilton--new westgates but like show case mall better now--be back--
Great food, great service & great chef with a great show! Will definitely return to the Benihana’s on the strip!
Service very good. Food was ok. Very lively ambiance.
Just getting in to Vegas and wanted some filling food. We love this place!!!
Our chef was BOMB af!
Great service...Great time!!! The atmosphere was phenomenal and everyone treated us like celebrities!!!
i really love everything in benihana one thing is a nightmare the smell in your clothes after the visit.... you should be aware of that....
Great experience! Food was delicious. My server was very attentive and the cook was awesome and had many tricks up his sleeve! LITERALLY. Ask for Magic J as your cook, you’ll be pleased!
A great place to eat the chefs showmanship was excellent
