Omg we loved the chef, Tony, so much! We would recommend him to anyone who will listen. He is entertaining and funny and made dinner fun, he is also an amazing chef, the food was incredible. I will be back very soon!
Our "Benihana cook", Heath was excellent. He cooked well and entertained us wonderfully.
He was very personable and very accomodating. We four ladies really enjoyed our dinner at
It was a fun place to have a Saturday lunch! And to celebrate my bachelor party.
Loved our waitress...she made sure a Happy Birthday song was completed even after we were rushing.
First time experiencing Benihanna and we really enjoyed it.
The food was great, the right amount of portion size.
The chef was chatty with all of the guests at the table and it was fun to watch him cook
Great food, friendly cooks and waitress!
its was lots of fun, but going for lunch, it was sorts empty???
The food was good and the chef was entertaining. The only thing lacking is the feel of being in a Japanese restaurant. If it weren't for the benihana sign outside of the restaurant you would never know you're at benihana. I would prefer the traditional benihana with the old grumpy chefs and waitresses who wear kimonos, like the one at the Westgate Hotel.
Took my parents for the 1st time. Mom already said she wants to come here for her bday!
Beautiful, nice ambiance, clean and friendly atmosphere.
The cook was amazing and very interactive. However, the waitress was terrible. I’ve been to this restaurant but this time around I was so disappointed. I go and drop a good amount of money and for someone to treat the way she did is not okay.
I enjoyed everything. I would definitely come again. Great food and great service
Food was really good is cooked in front of you so you know what it going on. Also the cook makes the difference with their own touch.
Service was terrible. Food took over an hour for us to get. Had to flag our server for a refill on our drinks. Had to ask her for silverware and napkins. When food finally arrived, it was cold.
Everyone just seemed very disorganized - not overwhelmed. Couple next to us had the same experience. Saw them complain to the hostess because we didn’t see a server for a long time. Vegas has amazing restaurants, too bad Benihana’s is not one of them. Will continue to visit the San Diego location instead.
Only complaint I have is they need better ventilation with all that high heat cooking going on you smelled like a fryer when you left
Great food ! My first time being there would definitely come back!
We were in Las Vegas and decided to go here for a birthday dinner for my wife. Had a reservation and got seated on time. Then for 35 minutes no one came to the table. They said miss communication. The food was okay but have had allot better from other Benihana’s. Very poor ventilation and left there smelling like cooking food. In the end the manager did give us a discount for our waiting. I will not be visiting this location again.
Food was great a little disappointed I let them know it was my birthday and nothing was offered or done.
If you are lucky enough to get Jocelyn, then you are definitely in for a good show and such an amazing chef . Kim was the best waitress no waiting for refills always on top of the table to remove excess plates without feeling rushed.
One of the best Benihana experiences so far. We’ve been to the Westgate site when it was still Hilton. This newer site at Fashion Mall is updated with more modern look and equipment.
What made our family experience the best was our chef Tony “Too Much”. His personality and interaction with all of us (my family of 5 plus a couple celebrating a birthday) was very hospitable and enjoyable. He did his own twist on traditional Benihana chef moves.
If we could request this chef again, we’d definitely come here again during our next trip to Vegas. Tiia was on point as well serving us drinks and taking care of extras for the kids.
We had a wonderful time celebrating my son's 14th birthday. He even mastered the *chopsticks*. Every part of our experience was amazing. We will definitely do this again. Thank you for your hospitality! Kudos to the Chef!
we love this place always good
Food was good Once we saw our chef we waited 15 minutes to be seated and once seated we had to wait 30 minutes for a chef to show up at the table they also forgot to cook our shrimp once everything was cooked we asked about it and they had to go it back and bring it out to cook. The staff was very friendly and the food good but it shouldn’t take that long after being seated to see the chef never have I had that happen before.
Our reservation was over a hour late when the cook came to cook over the table. We didn’t start with our food until 10:15?? One couple was sleeping and ended up taking the food to go. They gave us 50% off our meal but wasn’t pleased. The meat was on dry side, steam rice was hard. It was extremely noisy! It was smokey inside. We were disappointed.
The Hostess was very agile in how she handled the in coming customers. Our party gathered at the bar to wait for the remaining members of our group. The bartender, who was a female, was not pleasant. She acted like she didn’t want to be present. She took forever in taking our order. Our server who seated us was a phenomenal woman, and so was our chef for the evening by the name of Haan. He truly was the artist for the evening!
We dine here at least once a week. This will soon change. Charging for extra garlic butter, and teriyaki sauce for my steak is ridiculous! My family stopped dining at the location inside the Westgate for this reason. As a regular, I wasn't happy with my last visit. My family will no longer dine here as often
I went for my birthday and had reservations for 6pm but the chef never came out and I wasn't seen til 636p.m. I also had a certificate for 30 dollars off and the manager wouldn't accept it so my bill came out to 51.00😡😡😡. It wasn't a good birthday experience for me. It was the chef's second day and I could totally tell😡. Wanted to get my money back!!!
We were celebrating a family birthday on March 28, 2018. We waited at our table for over an hour to order. Also, the ventilation system wasn’t working so it was very smoky from the cooking and very hot in the restaurant.
It took forever to get service, it was to hot no air flow. The cook Hans was the only saving grace to a terrible evening.
Very disappointed in the server and the wait time. We waited over 30 mins from the time we ate our salads to the time that the hibachi chef even came out. I asked our waiter about the wait time and he pretty much dismissed me. We had to call him over frequently to get any services as well. The services was the worst I've had a Benihana. Also, we announced that it was our friends 50th birthday and the waiter did nothing to recognize it.
If it wasn't for Hibachi chef Hans, this dinner would have been a disaster. Hans was fabulous.
Welcomed with a Warm greeting when we arrived from Megan. Attentive service through out the dinner from Jasmine! Our chef Calvin was funny and the food was amazing! One of my best experiences at Benihana.
The food was very good, but the chef gave no show at all. We had a 10 year old with us who was disappointed.
Great entertainment, service was very good. Had the steak and scallops, scallops were just ok steak was a little better but not great. Expect $75 a person.
Well for one i didnt get to finish my meal because i got sick from the smoke as the meal was beong prepares and had to go to hospital from the restaurant and wasnt able to finish my meal and didnt get a response from management as to my well-being.I was very disappointed
I loved the evening we had there! The food was amazing and the cook was super nice! I recommend it without any hesitation :)
Great atmosphere, nice wait staff, food was awesome
Sat us 45 minutes late
Had a great meal here with a large group of friends. The chef was really entertaining with lots of jokes. We must have been there at least two hours
We usually go to the Benihanas at the Westgate which we love. Though we would try this one on the strip, but where highly disappointed.
