Benihana - Las Vegas Strip
The new 7,600 square-foot-restaurant is located inside one of Las Vegas’ premier shopping destinations, the Fashion Show Mall. Guests looking for the world-famous Benihana experience can dine at one of 18 teppanyaki tables. The restaurant’s sushi bar offers a more casual atmosphere. Those who want to keep an eye on the bustling Las Vegas Strip can enjoy a colorful cocktail on the patio, or at the bar, which is open to the Strip. Fashion Show offers complimentary valet parking at six key locations. Perfect for special events or parties, the restaurant can also seat guests in two semi-private dining rooms.
Good food and interesting to see the food prep. Nice atmosphere but kinda loud. Could use better exhaust fans or something, once you leave your clothes will smell of the cooking.
Benihaha. My worst ever meal and service anywhere in the world. Nothing else could possibly have gone wrong, absolute disaster and far too many issues to write about. All four meals were taken off bill but that was nowhere near enough to compensate for one of very few nights out in LV. There can be no excuses for ruining our night. I don't usually complain, just don't return, but this was below abominable
It was great!
First time visiting this location while here in Vegas and the staff were wonderful and the chef was very interactive with our children. The food was great and definitely returning.
I'm biased, because Benihana is my favorite restaurant! Had the filet mignon again. It's so tender, goes down like buddah. Our chef did some magic tricks too, which was a change of pace.
Our chef was super funny and entertaining. Definitely topped any other hibachi experience that I’ve had.
Worst. Service. Ever. I’ve been to many Benihana’s but this one is the absolute worst. I had a reservation and didn’t get seated for an hour past it, though walk ins who had been here were seated before my party. I mistakenly took my daughter near the bar for a Shirley Temple, only to be rudely yelled at by the bartenders and, then a manager, that she could not stand with me while I ordered a drink for even myself. So essentially I would have had to leave her at the door while I ordered at the bar. Totally unacceptable. Four hostesses but no one clearing tables - thereby causing their own problems with seating. We left after they served the chicken and the steak hadn’t even hit the grill - but we paid for it. The girls were exhausted and needed sleep for soccer. This trip to Vegas has been wonderful and memorable, but this is the lowest low of any possible memory. I would never recommend it to anyone. Never.
First time and it was so great! The chef was funny and the food was delicious!
That said - I have been to at least 15-20 different Benihanas all over the world - mainly US. The seating we had in this new one was horrible - the food was as always really good. Around our table most of us got "dry eye's" just like you are tired. My eyes became red and itchy so we left before we got to our desserts. We got some discount but I would have preferred to enjoy the food and not sitting with my eyes half closed. I noticed other tables having the same issue. The manager said the were aware of the problem.....
We went to the Las Vegas Benihana twice while we were in the area because the service was amazing and very professional. The chefs were so great at cooking our meals while entertaining us as well. Food quality was excellent. We both fully enjoyed our meals and cocktails as well.
My favorite restaurant! Also have gone to the one in Seattle and Scottsdale with same quality and enjoyment. Love the consistency and I ordered my steak medium, it was perfectly cooked to medium . . . . .
I would just like to say we had an amazing time on last we were celebrating my birthday. The was absolutely superb. Our cook he was awesome did a wonderful job preparing our food just the way we wanted. Just wanted to say thanks to the entire staff at Benihana at eh fashion show mall.
Chef Carlos was entertaining. The people we shared the table were unfamiliar with the style of food preparation and he was very helpful.
Kyle our chef was amazing! First time there and the overall experience was 10/10! Will for sure be visiting again next time I’m in Vegas!
Would’ve given them five stars except it took quite a long time to get our chef. Otherwise, good value and experience.
Great food fun atmosphere with god size portions and great drinks
Always an awesome atmosphere. Fun for the kids. Great time
The food was amazing and the service is unmatched! I LOVE BENIHANA and WILL BE BACK!
Our chef was amazing. Made the whole experience.
Chef was amazing, location and decor was great. Our server was amazing and took care of all of our needs..
Thank you Ryan for ur good service we had a good time Food was very delicious we loved ur cooking. U were a great host and great cooker look foword to seeing u next time when I'm in Las Vegas
As always, the crew at Benihana’s did not disappoint. Calvin was our teppan Chef and he blew the roof off with talent and taste. Every trip this is a must. And if Tony isn’t on the tables then Calvin’s the new go to.
Food and service were fantastic!!! Ventilation not so much - they could smell us coming the rest of the night. Such a bummer because otherwise it was a great, family friendly, and fun experience.
Best food ever!!!
Very accommodating, looked like they may need a little help as our waitress was running! Cook was very personable and appeared he really enjoyed his craft. Pricey as all in Vegas, but I would recommend.
I have never experienced a chef like Tony 2 much. He made this one of the most memorable birthdays I have had eating at Benihanas. I will recommend him again. He was the highlight of the evening
It was very warm in the restaurant.
Birthday celebration was very nice!
It was our first time visiting Benihana in Vegas and it was a good time. The environment was fun and the people were friendly. Our food was great and tasted amazing! We enjoyed the tricks and moves the cooks/chefs made. The only issue that we had was with our waitress. She wasn’t listening to what we said, she even forgot to bring our part of our order. And we had to ask her to bring out the dish when our meal was done. Overall, a great experience!
It's was absolutely amazing. The best steak I have had in life.
Very generous portions. Possibly the best Hibachi we’ve had.
Waiter and chef awesome will definitely return. Nice strip view
We have dined many times at Benihana across the country. Our chef Joseph had the best skills out of all our previous chefs. The food was great except for the fact that he was a touch heavy handed with the black pepper.
We made reservations for 9, and were not seated until 940. We then had to ask to be moved because they stuck us in the very back corner of the restaurant and it was so hot that we would not have been able to enjoy our dinner. The ventilation in the restaurant is very bad and you leave smelling like the food which is something I cannot stand. There were three times that we and others at the table had to find different Servers to help us with simple things like water because our waitress continually went missing. The food was OK but way over seasoned. The mushrooms had so much pepper on them we could not eat them. The steak however was cooked perfectly and we were very impressed by that. This is our third time visiting this restaurant while in Vegas and sadly enough I think it will be our last.
Great time with friend. Service was great
Adam was an amazing cook our server was also great. Did not remember her name. Look forward to next visit will be requesting Adam.
Excellent food and service.
Most likely will not be back, did not see one Asian cook, just a bunch of kids that used to work at McDonald's that were trained to twirl an egg on a spatula. The place just isn't the same anymore.
Being a family of 5 I do feel like it hits the wallet hard but overall it’s one of my favorite places to go. So I made a decision to take the kids so I could share my love for Beni’s & We had a good time!
Went for dinner with my famiky to celebrate my bday. The food was not that great, not worth the price. The servers were not attentive at all! Never came back to refill our drinks. Almost forgot to serve the steam rice until we reminded them. Never gave me the special bday treat unlike the rest of the guests from other tables. Hubby even reminded the server twice. We felt like we were being ignored, so we left. Spent $160 for a family of 4. Not worth it! Will never go back! And I almost forgot to mention that aweful food smell on your hair, clothing and purse after you leave the place. Very disappointing experience!
