We love Benihana, but the price point has definitely moved past the level of service we received at this last visit. Our serve seemed to be very inexperienced and there were several times when everyone who was seated at our table had to send another server over to find her in order to ask for a number of different things. It got to the point where our cook had to leave to go and find the server for something which ended up with our filet mignon being overcooked. Our cook was great besides that one mistake, he was funny and engaging. My daughter loved the entertainment. He just didn’t have the best support with the serve he was working with. I wish we could’ve had another server as our daughter’s birthday song was lackluster as well. It was overall just not the best experience.

Our waitress was outstanding. The food was real good, but the chicken was definitely over cooked. The steak was cooked to perfection, though.

Our server, Miguel, was superb in "executing" our meal! He was great in handling the knives. Great showmanship. Only problem there was so much noise at the seating behind us we couldn't hear him talk. A small microphone around his neck would have helped.

Went today, had a reservation at 2:30 pm and we did not get seated until 3:55 . Our server Eric was great he was quick and efficient by taking all of our drinks and orders to try to get our items to us quickly. Our Chef Aaron was great as well and entertaining and made our Mother’s Day experience better . We had also gotten the kids chicken tenders meal for our son and he only got the tenders and none of the other items listed on the kids menu. Super disappointed. $22 for only 4 pieces of chicken tenders and ketchup. We had give him some of our food to make up for him still being hungry . I did not realize the items were missing until we had already left and I looked at the hat (kids menu description) and realized all that was missing. (my husband was the one who ordered and did not realize the additional food that was supposed to be given)

Literally the worse restaurant experience of my life. Reservations were for 2, we were sat at 2:50, appetizers weren’t received til 3:40. “Chef”showed up at 4:20. Horrible experience. Got out of there at 6pm.

We went before Prom and didn’t expect to sit over an hour before our chef came to make dinner. Our reservation was at 8 and we didn’t get food until 9:30 PM. We got to Prom at 10:15. Food was good but service was slow. Going forward, I’ll know to allow 2+ hours for Saturday night service.
