Acting as stewards of traditional hospitality, the dining room offers world-class cuisine in a warm and welcoming environment. Serving an array of local beer, spirits and craft cocktails and all brought to you by our friendly staff, the Belton Tap Room is a favorite of locals and guests from around the world.

With an outdoor elevated deck and original 100-year-old fireplace, this is the perfect place for all that Montana summers have to offer. Every evening, our staff lines the balconies to welcome the evening train, just like they did in 1910. Steeped in the romanticism of a bygone era, this is the perfect setting for a special evening - whether you're celebrating an anniversary or the completion of a ten-mile hike.

Absolutely excellent! This restaurant and their staff go above and beyond to make dinner amazing. Food is excellent, fresh, unique and cooked to perfection. The Belton Chalet Dining Room is our FAVORITE in the State of Montana. If you dont stop here, you are truly missing out.

We have some allergies in our home, the staff went above and beyond to make our evening amazing. Thank you to the amazing staff of the Belton Chalet.

Very good dinner! Tomatoes and burrata were excellent! They were the star of the meal! Would definitely return. Great historical dining room with wonderful ambience!

We enjoyed our experience at the Belton Chalet Dining Room. We were staying at the chalet for two nights and decided to try the dining room on the first night. It was cozy, warm, and the food was delicious!

We always enjoy dinner at the Belton, the service is great and the food is wonderful. We enjoy it towards the end of the season every year when it’s quiet and relaxed, perfect time to unwind and enjoy Autumn colors and a great atmosphere.

Tomato and Burrata as starter is out of this world. Recommend you add Elk sausage if no dietary restrictions to any meals they have and you wont regret it. Trout top notch
