Great time had as always, though was disappointed that the Lamb Pappardelle has changed significantly. Used to be my fav and a highlight, now it has changed completely and was average at best.
Service is always great, trivia night was on so plenty of activity. Half price Tuesdays made it terrific value for money, and the kids had a blast in the playground as always.

It was pleasant having a table in the semi outdoors area at the front, especially as it was a lot quieter than the indoor areas. The food was very nice and the service good.

As usual our group of 10 ladies feel comfortable dining at Belrose Hotel after we have been to the morning show at Glen Street Theatre. We feel very comfortable there.

Great for families but for two couples trying to catch up the noise levels were just too loud. The food was good but expensive for a pub as were the drinks. Definitely better during the day for a lunch catch up.

Got fish and chips. The fish was cut to look like flathead fillets, but was more like cat fish from the Mekong River in Thailand. The others at the table complained about their food also. Haven't eaten there for about ten years, will probably be another ten after that night.
Great to take the kids there because of the playground, but the food was really not great.

We had a lovely time at the Belrose hotel. The food was very nice. Like the new menu. It was a little noisy as we were seated in the bistro area close to the play area.

The 2 for price of one for lunch was overshadowed by the battered fish in the fish and chips being either old or overcooked or both - was tough and rubbery! We complained and the staff were most helpful offering another meal or drink - but damage done!! so won't risk going again I am afraid.
Hi Denis, Thanks for the review – Our fish is ordered fresh from our supplier and all fish and chips are cooked to order. We use a fresh product and this results in a firmer texture of the fish. Thanks for letting us know on the day, I’m sorry despite our efforts to fix the issue that you won’t be back.
We found the presentation of the staff not the best given it was Melbourne Cup. Plain shirt managers with no name tag, the lady on the entrance was in cons and baggy pants, and when bar staff approached our table to clear it we weren't sure if they worked there!

Menu tries a little too hard. Where is the simple & fresh grilled chicken burger? Everything tends to have extra flavour or spice & is fried. Pizza sauce tastes a little unique.
Venue is fantastic & clean & the playground is a great add on for the kids.

If you have kids this is the place to go. Under 4 years old and over 4 year old playgrounds, and the food is fantastic. Large open space with free parking. And the kitchen is open all weekend no rushing to have lunch by 3pm

THe only complaint from any of our ten ladies at lunch on Monday was that the music was way too loud. We enjoy being in the hotel and find everything very good.
Great dinner - they offer 50% off food for your birthday month so the value is amazing!

Great Covid safe attitude , snitty itself was overcooked and I asked for just snitty and chips but got the coleslaw and other fancy sauce - tacos and brisket was perfect - good spacing of tables and cleanliness was great - not sure why one of the chefs had his mask under his chin the whole time so not worth wearing if not going to be used correctly- great table cleaning service and all the waitresses are are awesome when it comes to customer service
