   Dried up re heated food.pate like cast iron , we were offered desert menu before having main course.

   Very pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent food, plenty of it too. We had a double pram with 2 six week old although access isn't easy we had room near the table for the pram.

   We had a lovely meal at The Belmore on Valentine's day. The food was mostly very good in both quality and value. Being picky I would say the only food disappointment was that the starter scallops were Queen and not King. They were a replacement for oysters which were not available so perhaps this was a last-minute solution. The package included a bottle of wine which we were not expecting, and this let the meal down as it was a tasteless 11.5% Sopranos pinot grigio - we ordered glasses of other wine instead and on mentioning this at the end of the meal the manager very graciously took these glasses off the bill. Overall a good experience and we'll be back, but I think it's best to leave choice of drinks to the customer rather than include a limited selection of wine in a package.
